Kind: captions Language: en [Music] AC [Music] alhamdulillah so we have Hadi this is done by the pilgrim whether he is in the form or in the of or then we have fya which is also done by a person in for either skipping something that's mandatory or doing something that is prohibited during then we have which is a sacrifice offered by people who are not in the state of of Hajj on the 10th of on then we have and what is linguistically it is derived from which is to cut and in the legislative definition it's a sacrifice done out of gratitude to Allah when a person is blessed by a baby boy or a baby girl so this is something that we offer as a token of good willll and gratitude to Allah for his Blessing the ruling of is it is a highly recommended Sunnah the prophet said every child is held in pledge of his until it is offered on his behalf on the seventh day when he's given his name and his head is shaved so this is the ruling of what is meant by pledged it means that that child is related and he's detained and prevented from feeling at ease or being free from having Allah's blessings over him and there are many interpretations for the uh the word some Scholars say that he would not intercede for his parents because they failed in offering the on for Allah so they won't be rewarded for that and there are many interpretations either way it is a highly recommended Sunnah what are the conditions of the it's the same conditions of the of the that the certain age has to be uh reached by the animal to be sacrificed and that it should be one of of the livestock and it should be free of defects now the issue the second issue which is it has to be from is an issue of dispute some Scholars said that it must be sheep you cannot sacrifice camels or Cows as as we know in and seven can share in a camel or a cow as if they've slaughtered seven sheep so one camel or one cow is equivalent to seven sheep however these Scholars who say that no no you have to have it as sheep some of them say if you slaughter a camel or a cow you cannot share more than one meaning we know that the Sunnah is to slaughter two Rams for a baby boy and one RAM for a baby girl and this is one of the five situations where a man is doubled a woman in and this it was mentioned by may Allah have mercy on his soul so if I were to slaughter a cow or a or or a camel for a baby girl I can't share two girls or seven girls in it because it requires seven sheep it has to be only one animal because an animal for a soul as the scholars say so it's not like or like Hadi where we can share seven in a camel or a cow it has to be only one for and the most authentic is that it has to be sheep it's it would not suffice to do it by camel or by cow the prophet sallallahu alaihi Al wasallam stated that if a child is born to someone and he wants to offer on his behalf let him do so two sheep of equal age on behalf of the boy and one sheep on behalf of the girl what about if a person does not have money and he doesn't have money or the ability to buy a or even to buy an some Scholars say alhamdulillah he doesn't have to do this until he can afford it others say no it is highly recommended that he borrows because this is a highly decorated Sunnah that was always done by the prophet Alat so there's no harm in borrowing if you know that you're able to pay it off in few months time then go ahead and this is the choice of may Allah have mercy on his [Music] soul for [Music]
