of the child as as Allah subhana T says
and we mention mention this verse

child is educated the right education
meaning the religious
education the the knowledge that would
save him from the house the knowledge
that would get him to be among those who
Allah subhana T is pleased with the
knowledge that would prevent him from
being among those who are wicked and
evil and those who would fall into
Innovations in the religion and so on
and so forth so that's why it's to teach
him the proper and the sound AA matters
of belief as Allah subhana T mentioned

you and if they all get together to try
to harm you with anything they won't be
able to accept with something that Allah
subhana T ordained upon

great instructions from the prophet

evidence of the education to educate

child the Quran when he is
Young because it's easier for them to
comprehend it this is the rights upon
their parents to teach them the
obligations of matters of the de the and
the commanded the
prophet command your family with and be
patient with it and he
said command your children to make the
Salah when they're seven years
old and you hit them if they don't do it
when they're 10 years old that means you
punish them if they don't do it when
they're 10 years
old and to separate them in beds once
they're 10 years old so this is the way
to teach the child when they're seven
years old how to make Salah and to make
sure that they do it and they don't miss
it to the extent of which that the
prophet when alassan his grandson he
took one piece of date from the data of
the charity and he was trying to about
to put it in his mouth the prophet wasam
said to
him which means you know when you say
the types of things to the children and
he said you know let it
go don't you know that we don't eat from
the charity because he's from the family
of the Prophet so the prophet is
teaching him when he's a child what he's
supposed to
observe uh with with with knowledge of
the basics the foundations of the
religion the one of the most important
concept of of upbringing is that they
get used to what is good it's basically
getting used to doing what is good and
one of which is to make the to exalt the
dean of Allah subhana wa tala and
calling to Allah subhana as said to his
son oh my son establish the Salah
enjoying what is good forbid what is
evil be patient with what afflicts you
as a result of that and this is from the
things to be determined and to be strong
in implementing them so he's teaching
his son all kinds of things when it
comes to matters of the dean and even da
to Allah subhana T and enjoying good and
forbidding evil uh to teach the child
the manners The Good Conduct of things
the etiquet of things as the verse
says do not give your cheek to the
people as a way of showing
arrogance do not walk on the face of
Earth in insolence and being arrogant
and things of that
nature walk in a way that is a humble
way do not I mean lower your your voice
do not raise your voice and so this is
something that is mentioned in the Quran
teaching and giving advises to the son
of how to conduct oneself and the
prophet
when
he was eating with the
Prophet The
Prophet said to
him oh young boy say and eat with your
right hand and eat from what in front of
you so teaching them the etiquette of
things how to eat how to drink uh how to
conduct oneself when their are guests
and how to respect the elders and things
of that nature of course one of the very
obvious rights is to spend on one's
child without excessiveness and without
being greedy and to protect him from
anything that might harmful to him
anything that might threaten his life or
harm him or anything not to transgress
the limits and this is something that is
natural in the in the house in the house
of the Believers in the hearts of the
Believers the parents towards their
children uh but one of the means of
protection is not just the physical
protection but also by protecting them
with matters of R because the child is
not able to make AAR he's not making the
morning and the evening AAR he's not
able to
recite and so on so the
prophet used to make the and the ised to
recite verses of the Quran or of the
Prophet Dua for means of protection for
the children he used to do that to
alassan Hussein their grandson and uh he
said to them then
that that he was he would remind them
that their father forefather used to do
the same thing to and which
is seeking refuge in Allah subhana wa
tala for them from Anyan and from any
evil eye and things like this so this is
the that we should memorize and a person
should do that when it comes to his his
kids and seeking protection for them uh
pushing away the harm from them even
with the simple things this shows the
caring that a person would have like the
prophet he got up got down from the
mimar when he was given addressing the
people when he saw his grandsons of
Hassan and Hussein coming and they had
two red garments and they were uh
stepping over them and falling so he
went down and he carried them and he
even quoted the
verse that your wealth and your
offsprings or F are a test for you uh so
he could not have as he said I could not
have the patient till I go down and and
help them which show the mercy and the
concern that he had towards them which
is something that should be in the in
the hearts of uh the parents of course
um also something that is important to
take them to places where there's good
uh mixing with righteous people with
people of goodness the environment
basically control controlling the
environment where the children are in to
make sure that they uh don't learn what
is bad and what is
evil uh and this is you know something
that is very obvious and uh the prophet
Alat wasam would even ask uh questions
and there are young children that are
present one of which is abdah and this
Hadith is in more than one place and it
has so many great benefits but one of
which is that he was a child he was
young and the Prophet is addressing the
people and
saying there's a tree that its tree its
leaves doesn't fall and it's like the
Muslim so inform me what is it so the
people start thinking about all kinds of
things and abdah he was a child and he
knew that it was the palm tree but he
was shy to speak when there's Elders so
later on when he said to his father that
he knew the answer the which
is
said
he said for for you to say it it would
have been more beloved to me than to
have such and such why because he would
be very proud of his son that he got the
right answer in front of the
Prophet so it shows again the this kind
of a special relationship and the caring
and educating and having them in the
proper environment with the prophet to
take the children to the Gatherings of
the the people of knowledge and to make
them respect uh their and the knowledge
to put them in the right environment to
make sure that you don't put them in
places or schools that are known to be
not teaching the children anything of
goodness but rather to teach them
matters of disbelief and things of that
nature we ask Allah subhana T to protect
us from all harm but this is basically
some of the rights to be observed when
it comes to the rights of the children
and that the parents will be asked about
them in the day of judgment we'll
continue in next time but with more of a
different right which is the rights of
