alhamd continuing with the right of the
spouses and we were still in the right
of the husband upon his wife and these
rights as we heard before it's from
Allah subhana taala from the Quran and
the Sunnah of the
prophet and when people are fearing
Allah subhana they're obedient to Allah
subhana wa tala then life becomes a
beautiful thing becomes a serious one
that people are seeking rewards from
Allah subhana wa tala alone continuing
from uh the signs of uh that Allah
or the examples of how the wife she
observe the rights of her husband even
if he's
absent so the husband is with his wife
she's obedient to him she's caring for
him and all of the things that are
mentioned before but when he's away when
he's traveling when he's at work and as
we said that as it will come inshallah
tal that the the so responsibility when
it comes to financial responsibility is
upon the husband so he is the bread
winner he's the one that goes and and
bring the means of sustenance and things
of that nature so when he's away the
wife she is obligated to guard the
household from many different things as
it's mentioned in the Quran and the
Sunnah of the Prophet one of which is to
guard
herself uh meaning that she does not
Adorn herself to other than her husband
no one would uh gain anything uh in a
unlawful way from her and this can be uh
with even looking it can be even with
worse in relationship outside the fold
of marriage so she guard herself she
guard her Chastity when her husband is
is traveling when he's away as the
prophet he
said three types of people you don't ask
about them that means they are perished
that are ruined one of
them a woman her husband is away
traveling or he's not
present and he sufficed for her the
provisions of this worldly
Provisions is adorning oneself in an
unlawful way that means for strangers to
see her so she would Adorn herself not
observing the hijab after her husband
left and this is such a dangerous thing
and many of you know the women for
example they they don't observe the
hijab whether the husband is present or
when he's not present and when he's not
present is even worse and it's both of
course a sinful act something to be
aware of also one of these means uh or
the the examples of the the woman
guarding herself when the husband is
away when it comes to the wealth of the
husband so she does not spend in a
foolish way or excessive way and all of
that is by his permission as the prophet
said
a woman should not spend from the house
of her husband except by the permission
of the husband so they said to the
messenger sallallahu alhi wasallam even
food he
said this is the best of our wealth
which is the food so the permission
doesn't have to be for Every Act she's
asking for permission but there's a
general permission right that means for
example he gives the permission for her
to buy for example or to have certain
types of things if it's something
different then she would seek permission
for that also um guarding the husband
when it comes to his children which is
also her children or his children to
make sure that they're taking care of
when the husband is away and the
prophet that the woman is guarding the
household of her husband husband and his
child and she is going to be asked about
them in front of Allah subhana tala so
this is something to be observed when
he's
away um one of the rights that the wife
should observe towards her husband is to
acknowledge the jealousy the that the
husband has towards her or which which
is a mean of
protection is that feel that the husband
would have the man would have when it
comes to
uh you know towards his wife for example
that nobody is to see her nobody is to
uh for example she goes out without
hijab these types of things and that's
why to to honor this that means she need
to protect herself from mixing with
strange men going out without permission
without the permission of her husband of
course and when she goes out she goes
out with wearing the proper hijab and
she to be warned against anything of
adornment whatsoever otherwise she's
falling into major sins and as we heard
the
verse that stay in your home the home is
the place that Allah subhana tal made
for women this is their Kingdom this is
their beautiful place that they stay
there and if they leave she leaves of
course but if there's a need to leave
but not to be going in and out and and
it becomes the same thing as the life of
the men and the Prophet as we heard in
the Hadith when she would Adorn herself
after her husband
leaves also that she would never give
permission to anyone uh to enter the
house without the permission of her
husband even if it's a Mah to her even
if it's someone that is permissible for
her to uh invite them over her brother
for example has to be with the
permission of the husband again it
doesn't have to be that every time she
seeks permission but it's well known
that if her brother comes any time he's
welcomed for example this is obvious but
if it's not then she seeks permission as
the prophet he
said we mentioned this Hadith before it
is not permissible for the woman to
fast while her husband is present unless
is by his
permission she does not allow anyone
into his house except by his permission
this is something that is very clear and
and You' find many text in the Shar in
the de of Islam warning the woman from
disobeying her husband and this is
something that is his rights and
something that has to be observed and
this is one of the means of entering the
Hell Fire you know it's easy to please
one another we can say all kinds of
things that people would like it or
women would like it but because we as
human beings we don't like someone to
tell us be obedient to this be you know
things of that nature but this is how
life is people are obedient to their
bosses and we'll talk about the rights
of the boss for example people are
obedient to the rulers so why is it
difficult then for the woman to be
obedient to her husband and we'll talk
about the other rights of course but
this is something that Allah subh
ordained this is the this is the
commands of Allah subhana T in matters
of and matters of goodness of course and
the prophet when he
said and these are realities and we're
not shy to mention in these types of
things he said I was shown the
hire meaning I've never seen anything
more terrifying than the h fire of
course he said that I saw most of the
Dwellers of the fire were women so they
said and how is that oh messenger of
Allah he said because of the and the the
word K is used so they said the woman
asked they disbelieve in Allah he
said that means it's not that because
that they disbelieve in Allah but it's
because they are ungrateful to the
living together is when people are
living
together and they're ungrateful to or
goodness and then he said advising the
women to protect themselves from the
fire by
saying if you're kind to one of them the
entire year or the entire
life then if she sees one thing from you
that is not good or not
pleasant she would say I've never seen
any goodness from you whatsoever this is
unfair this is this is the
ungratefulness of the relationship and
the goodness of the relationship she
overlooks all of the good things that
her husband would do to her and for her
and she would only focus and magnify the
the one shortcomings that he did and
we're all having shortcomings and things
of that nature this is also as the
prophet said it's one of the means for
her Salah not to be even accepted by
Allah subhana tal as the prophet he said
three types of
people is not going to be accepted and
it's not does not go up into the
heavens does not even go beyond their
heads which
is a woman that her husband he called
her uh to his bed that night and she
refused so this is one warning after the
other brings the wrath of Allah subhana
tal on her as we mentioned in the Hadith
before when it comes to the relationship
between the husband and the wife so as
you see these are rights to be observed
these are commands of Allah subhana wa
ta'ala and that's why why the righteous
woman she understand that this is from
Allah subhana tala so she would apply it
and this is one of the massin and the
goodness of the religion of Al Islam
unlike the life of those who follow
their desires and there therefore their
life is just chaos is just greed after
greed and it's chaos there's no
principles to follow and then as a
result of that children are raised to
have uh you know unknowing what is going
on and things of that nature this is
something to be observed this is
something to be respected to follow the
commands of Allah subhana wa tala and to
be obedient to Allah subhana tala having
talked about the rights of uh the
husband over his wife then the next
subject is the right of the
wife upon her husband and this is how
things becomes perfect and the harmony
is established as a result of that but
