alhamdulillah this is the last episode
in this part of the rights and the
rights to be observed in this Islamic
education we ask Allah subhana wa tala
to make us among those who learn and
benefit and apply what we learn and uh
we end this with the rights of the
rights of the people uh that the ruler
should
observe and as we heard that uh the
previous episode of the rights that the
people should observe and should apply
towards the rulers and to listen and to
obey and not to overthrow and things of
that nature uh Allah subhana T made an
obligation upon the rulers to uh fulfill
towards their people as we heard before
if they don't fulfill the right the
rights of the people it's not for the
individuals to overthrow them or to uh
disobey them unless it's a matter of a
sin so one of these rights is to
establish the dean of the ummah you know
that one of the jobs of the ruler is to
establish the dean of Allah subhana tala
by spreading the knowledge of the dean
of Allah by spreading the da to Allah
subhana tala as the prophet when he
sent to and he
said invite them to Bear witness that
there is no one worthy of worship accept
Allah and that I'm the messenger of
Allah if they obey you in this then
inform them that Allah subhana obligated
upon
them five obligatory every day and night
so this is part of establishing the dean
of Allah subhana tala also one of these
rights is to honor the exalt the people
of knowledge and to make them have
authority over the people when it comes
to uh teaching the religion and taking
their M their opinions as Allah
says take their opinions
their Affairs is based
on the people of the Quran the people of
knowledge used to be the companions of
the M of the Gathering of and the ones
that he would take their
opinions whether they're old or young he
would get himself close to the people of
knowledge and they are the ones that
would advise him and give him
opinions uh so this is how the rulers
should surround themselves with the
righteous ones uh also one of these
rights to be observed is that they would
uh protect their subject the masses from
what corrupts their beliefs and their
manners you know like for example a
someone that's spreading evil among the
people then they should you know move
them away and and protect the the the
masses of the Believers from those who
would spread innovation ations in the
dean or deviation you know so that the
dean is always protected from any
weakness and deficiencies and things of
that nature also one of the rights of
the people is for them to be ruled with
what Allah subhana T revealed to the
prophet as Allah subh commanded the
prophet rule among them with what Allah
subhana waa revealed establishing the H
the capital punishments the rights of
one another you know to be fulfill and
that's why the Judiciary System the
matters of rulings this is all for the
people of
authority
as said that a woman from she came to
the
prophet and she was pregnant from Z from
adultery and she said oh prophet of
Allah I committed a sin that requires Al
for the capital punishment to be applied
so the
prophet he called her guardian and he
said
be kind to
her if she give birth then bring her
back so when that happened and the
prophet wasam applied the punish
punishment upon her and she is someone
that Allah subhana T accepted her
repentance but it's for the prophet for
the people of authority to do that and
that is part of the dean so that the
Haram is eliminated and for the rights
of the people to be protected from
stealing and looting and things of that
nature
uh also one of the rights of the people
is for them to be ruled with Justice
with goodness to remove
injustices as Allah
says that indeed Allah subhana T command
you to fulfill the rights and the trust
to the people and if you judge between
them is to judge with Justice and
matters of goodness so definitely this
is what the people deserve to be upon
and to protect the umah to protect the
the people from any evil and whether
it's in one's wealth their honor and
dignity as the prophet he
said that the IM the ruler is Jun that
means he's a shield people they fight
from behind him which shows again that
this is his job is not the jobs of the
individuals so that means he Pro protect
the umah from the enemies he uh protect
the the people from anything that would
harm them uh and the people they fight
with him and they aid him to fulfill uh
what is best for the ummah uh also to uh
you know take care of them to take care
of the weak and the those who have
inability and to Pro you know provide
for them to the best of one's ability
as said when he wasif he said
if Allah subh save
me I would not let the widows of the
people of they would need anyone after
me meaning that he would go after the
weak and the needy even if they're far
away from him this is how the level of
responsibility that he
felt also the to have the concern
towards the um in matters of its de how
to save their religion and how to save
their world worldly life and the
livelihood matters for them as the
prophet he
said there's no a leader there's no
leader that would lead the Muslim and
he's not doing the best he can and have
the concern towards them unless he would
not enter Jenna with them and with that
is there is r and gentleness and as the
prophet he
said whoever rule or lead the people of
my people in any matter and he becomes
harsh unto them make it difficult for
them then make it difficult for
him and whoever lead my um in any matter
and he's kind and gentle towards them
then be gentle with
him uh also one of the things is that he
would lead the umah in in taking care of
things and he would deal with them as
the prophet he
said whoever Allah entrust him to lead
the
Muslim he hides away from fulfilling
their
needs and their
need Allah will treat him in the same
way that he would not be
basically uh treated in a good way but
rather he also would not be able to
fulfill his needs and rights as Allah
subhana wa ta'ala you know would treat
him in the same manner that he treated
his people uh also as you know the the
rules or the obligation upon the rulers
is something that the mentioned right
and he would lead the matter with his
own self and to protect the the matters
of Dean and religion and matters of dun
for the people and to also choose those
who are in charge of places not to
betray the people and as the prophet he
said one of the signs of the hour is
that when the matter of authority is
given to those who do not deserve it so
you have to put the right people in the
right
position and as
said whoever in charge of the Muslim in
any
matter
whoever in charge of a position and he
would appoint someone in a position
because of his authority but he would
appoint the ones that he love the
relatives and things like
this he had betrayed Allah and his
messenger and the Muslim so they would
appoint those who
deserve those who would fit in the
position in the most perfect way not
based on who they like or their
relatives or those who are this and that
he's also a
an example to them the ruler is an
example to his people and he's a role
model to them you know when
abak he said to the woman that she asked
him and she
said you know she said to him how can we
keep this uprightness and goodness that
we have now after changing our situation
from the ignorance that they had before
so Subhan Allah they were upon right
rightness and goodness and she was
worried how can we keep this so he
said to continue to be like this is how
your your rulers your leaders are upon
the stat fastness and said when he was
dying that the people will continue to
be good as long as their rulers will be
upright and steadfast and also those who
guide them which means also the people
of knowledge so the uprightness of the
people of knowledge and the rightness of
the people those who are in charge are
means for the people to be upright and
to be steadfast upon the dean of Allah
and as he
said since people are upon the religion
of the rulers so whoever deviate from
the ruler from the rulers right uh he
would deviate and he would lead people
astray also you know the rulers when
they deviate they deviate with them the
masses also and when they're upright and
steadfast upon the dean the people also
follow them so they become means for the
guidance or the steadfastness of the
people these are some of these rights
and as we heard if they fulfill their
rights mallah this is great if they
don't fulfill the rights of the people
then the people should fulfill their
rights to them and they should not uh go
against what Allah subhana commanded us
and what the prophet commanded us which
again governs the life of the people
these are rights to be observed and we
heard it from the rights of Allah the
rights of the Prophet sallallahu alaihi
wasallam the rights of the people of
knowledge the neighbors the relatives
the rulers all of these types of rights
to be observed for the sake of Allah
subhana tala because Allah subana T
commanded us and these are just bullet
points like this but our job is to take
this and to learn it in this basic level
and then to expand on it and to learn
more of the evidences because we go by
the from Allah it's not about reason my
reason your reason but rather it's the
Revelation from Allah the Quran and the
Sunnah of the Prophet s wasallam we ask
Allah subhana tala to make it benefiting
for all of us and to bless it and to
make us among those who are source of
benefit to
everyone
