alhamdulillah now that
alhamdulillah the eighth year of Hijra
was over and the
prophet went back to
Medina everything was almost settled and
peaceful in the ninth year of
Hijra this was known to
be uh
the year
of convoys and
invo
so convoys and envoys and Messengers and
tribes
all came to
Medina to accept
Islam tribes from all over
Arabia convinced that Islam is the
religion of Allah and to give their
pledge of allegiance to the
prophet so they all started coming to
the prophet sallallahu alaihi Ali
wasallam and we know that that the
prophet had already communicated with
all Kings and Emperors of the
adjacent Empires Persia the
bantian Egypt
Etc he sent envoys to them calling them
to Islam not leaving any stone
unturned because this is the duty Among
Us Muslims to spread the word of Allah
the Almighty
unfortunately the tribes
of Northern
Arabia thought that they were strong
enough
to stand in the face of Islam because
they thought they had the
backing of the
byzantian so the Roman Empire was behind
them the ruler of Manan who was from
these Arabs Christian
Arabs accepted
Islam and when he accepted Islam and
wanted to announce
this one of the kings of
Arabia in these Northern parts killed
him crucified him to make an example out
of
him and this was an insult to the
Muslims so the prophet Alat
wasam deployed a huge
Army
and this Army was about
30,000
men and
imagine 10 years ago or so the
Expeditions were five men six
men and then they grew to 100 then to
200 and then in bad 300 plus in uhud 700
plus and it started to grow little by
little it's not the number it's
equality and it's the belief in the
hearts of these
Warriors so the prophet wasallam
gathered
30,000 strong men to go and fight the
byzantian
Empire led by
himself however
the times were difficult and the Arabs
were poor and it was
summer and the distance was was about
miles of traveling in the
Sun
so the prophet
encouraged the companions to give in
order to deploy such a a huge Army and
the companions as usual never
hesitated
soan gave 10,000
Dinars and offered a staggering 900
camels and 100
hores Abu Bakr gave all his
wealth ABD rman may Allah be pleased
with him gave 40,000 din now imagine
these are three of the 10
heavenbound they were not Beggars they
were
multi-millionaires but this did not stop
them from being the elite of the
Companions and the most beloved to
Allah wealth does not prevent you
from being a righteous practicing
knowledgeable
Muslim and the women gave their jewelry
and their
money for this
Army in the month of rajab of the ninth
year of
Hijra they
marched and there were so
many
stories related to this battle or to
this
Expedition it was called
because it was so hard and difficult for
the
Muslims to go in such
circumstances some of the Companions and
three of them to be
precise stayed
behind telling themselves that maybe
tomorrow maybe the day after until it
was too late and they had their own
story that was mentioned in
Surah TBA and by the way Surah
TBA which is chapter
n mostly talks about this battle and how
the prophet dealt Alam with the
Hypocrites who could not say it clearly
but would
undermine the efforts of the Muslims in
Islam
stealthly trying
to make their morals
down making jokes about them and this
was mentioned in verse
6566 of Surah
TBA and how
Allah rendered
them apostates and disbelievers just
because they made jokes of the
companions it was hard times
the water was
scarce and they were thirsty to the
extent that they may Slaughter one of
their camels and drink from its guts
whatever they can just to remain
alive so they came to the prophet alai
and
said make Dua Allah answers you so the
prophet made Dua and out of nowhere
a cloud came and poured
water like as they say dogs and
cats so they filled their
water bags and
tanks with water and when they went out
of the perimeters of the camp there was
not a single drop of water only on
them and the gushing of water
from between the fingers of the Prophet
Alam happened a number of times at times
a difficulties of at times of
difficulties when the people were
thirsty and they had no water the
prophet Sall wasallam would pray and the
water would
gush in tabuk there was an area where it
was very little water that would not be
efficient for couple of people let alone
a whole Army and again the prophet
washed his face and the water started
gushing where
everybody managed to
drink and take whatever they needed for
their
Journey food was
also difficult to find and when they
started slaughtering their camels to eat
Omar came and said oh prophet of Allah
if we continue to do this we would have
no
rides so the prophet sallallahu alaihi
wasallam ordered them to gather some
food and covered it and made Dua and
from that pile small pile the whole Army
filled their food bags and took their
rations and it was more than what they
needed and so many many other Miracles
that
Allah gave to his Messenger to prove
over and over again that this
is the prophet of
Allah this
battle took 50 days imagine a whole
month 30 days to go and come back and
when he reached
thereat he stayed at the outskirts of
tabuk for 20 days camping there waiting
for anyone who would dare and confront
the Muslims among the tribes among the
bantian but nobody dared to do
this and it was spread around all of
Arabia Muhammad sallallahu alaihi
wasallam and his
army are
intimidating the byzantian Empire
they're unable to do
anything and this
cemented the reputation of Islam in all
over Arabia not only that but also in
the adjacent regions that Islam is here
to stay how the
