alhamdulillah now we come to the the
final
chapter in
This Magnificent
life of the
greatest of all Messengers and prophets
of Allah asael 23 years he had spent
calling people to Islam 23 years not a
day was spent not an
hour was
wasted other than in calling people to
Allah
purifying their a from
any thing that would tarnish it through
associating others with Allah or
devoting their worship to other than
Allah in the 11th year of Hijra after
the prophet
came back from
Haj there were only few
days he did not go back to rest
rather he kept
on
working without stopping or
resting but everything has to come to an
end 63 years of
age
after all what we have seen and heard of
his
struggle of his
commitment this all had to come to an
end in the
last few days of the month of
Safar the prophet sallallahu alaihi
wasam felt ill and his illness
started three years ago in when he
ate from a morsel from that poisoned Ram
that was presented to him by a Jewish
woman wanting to to assassinate him
though he did not consume it and spit it
out but it used to
reoccur every now and then and he would
say to his wives I still find the
Pains of that morsel of that poisoned
Ram that I ate
from
so the prophet sallallahu alaihi
wasallam when he felt ill he asked
permission from his
wives that he would
be taken care of by his wife Aisha and
in her house and they agreed willingly
may Allah be pleased with them AA took
care of him in these few coming days
trying her level best to do R by cuffing
his own hands and reading
in it and then trying to wipe his body
with his own hands due to its
Baraka of course in these days it
was difficult if not impossible for the
prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam to
lead the prayer in the state he was in
so he appointed Abu Bakr to lead the
prayer AA the daughter of ab
Bakr felt that the companions the
people would believe that Abu Bakr is a
bad
Omen for doing such a role and due to
the fact that Abu Bakr was a very soft
person if he recited the Quran he would
cry and he had a low voice so she said
that maybe if you ask someone else to
lead the prayer other than Abu Bakr and
she tried many times and the prophet
sallallahu alaihi wasallam would not
agree and he insisted that only Abu Bakr
would lead the prayer which was a clear
sign that Abu Bakr would be to succeed
the prophet Alat wasam because the
prophet accepted him
for the most important thing in Islam
which is leading the prayer
wouldn't he accept him and approve him
for this for their
world and in one day the prophet felt a
little bit light so he was assisted by
his uncle Abbas and Ali may Allah be
pleased with them and went out to lead
the
prayer and he gave a sermon to his
companions which which
he praised and thanked Abu Bakr for all
his
services and showed the
companions his status in
Islam and then he told them that a slave
of
Allah was given the choice between being
giving whatever he wanted of the glass
and beauty of this world or what is with
Himel with Allah and he chose what is
with Allah subhana wa taala Abu Bakr
realized that he was referring to
himself that Allah has given him the
choice to stay in this world or to die
so the prophet chose to die so he
wept and he
said few words that the people were
shocked why is this old
man
crying when the prophet is telling us
about a choice given to a man later on
they realized that the Abu Bakr
understood the message and the farewell
of the Prophet Alat
wasam and the prophet
felt really sick at the end of his time
and he used to have a pot of water where
he would wipe his face with
it because of the heat of this fever
that he had once it he was
so hot in his fever that he asked them
to
pour seven water
skins on his body just to cool
down and he used to
put his hand in this pot in in this pot
and wipe his face and
say indeed there is Agony in
death and the prophet Alat
wasam felt really
sick and on the 12th
day
of
R and it was a
Monday and this was not a coincidence
that the date was recorded and there is
no dispute in
it the prophet sallallahu alaihi
wasallam said
in a very tired
voice with those upon whom you have
bestowed
favor and oh Allah with those on
high who was taking care of him she says
his head was between my chin and
chest she was supporting
himat before he
died she softened a miswak like this one
that was green and he saw it in the the
prophet saw it in the hand of one of Abu
bakr's
Sons ABD Rahman
and she said would you like it oh
prophet of Allah and he nodded so she
softened it with her teeth and then gave
it to him so the prophet sallallah alhi
wasallam used
it to clean his mouth and the last thing
that his saliva was mixed with was was
the saliva OFA may Allah be pleased with
her and he said these last words
choosing
Allah the
almighty so AA knew that this was it
Fatima came and she
was
distressed because of what she saw her
father
in and she said how distress my father
is and the prophet replied to her there
will be no more distress for your father
after this day and the prophet Alat
wasam passed away it was Monday the 12th
of
R and Subhan Allah the
innovators insist to celebrate that day
not knowing that the enemies of Islam
managed to fool them and convince them
that this was the date of his birth so
so those who do not know all Muslims
agree that he died on the 12th of
R so by celebrating that day are you
mourning him or are you celebrating his
death and Abu
Bakr who was
away thinking that the prophet was
healthy and well
again came immediately when he heard
about this
the people in the Masjid were in
chaos some were crying some were weeping
some were just sitting down shocked and
did not know what to do while
Omar may Allah be pleased with him could
not tolerate this so he started shouting
at people he said that whoever says that
Prophet Muhammad is dead I'm going to
beat him
up the prophet is not dead he could
not understand this or accept it he said
he left to meet his Lord and he's going
to come back like Moses did when he
brought the ten commandments so don't
you dare say that he was dead when Abu
Bakr came he went right inside to the
chambers of Aisha and saw the prophet
sallam lying down with his face covered
he uncovered his face he kissed his
forehead
and he came back to the
people and he went to them and
said
without giving them a big
speech he said to them Muhammad peace be
upon him has died whoever among you has
been worshiping Allah Allah is ever
living and will never
die Allah says in the Quran and he
addressed them with the Quran that they
all
memorize he said Muhammad is not but a
messenger other
Messengers have passed on before him so
if he was to die
or be killed should you turn back on
your
heels so when the people heard this as
if they had never heard this Ayah
they accepted the fact and Omar sat on
the ground as his legs would not carry
him any longer this was the end of a
golden era this was the end of the
chapter of the most beautiful
period mankind have ever witnessed the
life and the death of prophet Muhammad
Sall and with this we
conclude the topic of s for the first
semester of
our year and we hope to see you
