alhamdulillah muhamad
in the name of Allah the compassionate
the merciful all praise is due to Allah
the almighty subhanahu wa ta'ala and May
the peace and blessings of Allah be upon
his Prophet Muhammad his family his
companions and his all and all of his
followers until the day of uh Reckoning
I welcome you to this new uh lesson from
uh the series
and today we are uh talking about very
very important issue we already talked
about regarding the six books that we
mentioned already by IM by IM
IM IM Al
IM sh IMI all of these we talked already
and we mention mentioned that
alhamdulillah and I hope that we benefit
from those of course with some of the
remarks that we we passed and we talked
about uh the these but now we're coming
to uh the other uh issue which is uh
there are some books in that one has to
be very careful and these books should
not be read by by uh anyone they're not
for anyone they're very for very well uh
uh um uh strong uh uh Scholars of T who
know what is right and what is wrong
because in these books there are some uh
uh bad mistakes and deviations from the
correct and authentic uh uh explanation
and Tere of the ayas uh that are
mentioned in the Glorious Quran
so those particular particular uh
students of knowledge in the beginning
uh we you you need to be very very
careful and uh there's some content in
these books that have great uh mistakes
uh especially in the matter of a and
therefore we have to be careful when
reading this and and we have to avoid in
the beginning and not to come in contact
with them until we are well versed in
this in this area uh the first of one of
which
is
by and we
say because he actually was a good man
and of himself but however he was not
careful when reporting certain things in
his t Al
IM died in the year
427 and what is uh remarked regarding
his own is that he used to say uh many
report many of the Israelite reports
these are the reports uh taken from the
Jewish books um about earlier history
history of
humanity the beginning of creation and
the earlier prophets and the earlier uh
Nations before Islam because there is
not much mention of them in the in in
the Glorious Quran nor in the Sunnah so
the those who are very much attached to
knowing the stories of the earlier um uh
creation the earlier generations and the
earlier Nations
they were uh trying to fill that Gap by
reporting and taking reports from uh the
um uh uh reports by Jewish
Scholars but of course not all of this
uh is authentic many of it in fact is
not is not true and some of it is very
very strange and and and sometimes
cannot be comprehended or even uh you
cannot make sense of and that's what why
Al IM Al fell into this this problem the
second issue is that he was not very
keen about reporting weak a Hadith he
used to bring weak a Hadith
particularly um regarding the uh virtues
of some of the uh uh uh Virtues Of of
suras now we know that yes there are
some authentic had regarding the virtues
of some particular suras in the Glorious
Quran like Al like
Surah
like and so on however many of the uh
Hadith regarding uh the virtues of suras
are not authentic in general you have to
be very careful and make sure that they
are reported in authentic Hadith and
verified by uh Scholars who majored in
this uh like uh mallah uh many of of of
them like
iani like Al IM in in modern times Al
Imam Al albani uh and so on mashallah
these are great Scholars who devoted
their time to verifying a Hadith and
many scholars point to this issue
in particular about the virtues of suras
one has to be careful and
IM actually fill his uh his uh with uh
reports of that and at the end of each
Surah he would mention some of the
Hadith that are fabricated uh regarding
this and they are um you know reported
that they were said by
by but of course we cannot verify and
they were not they were not verified by
the books of Hadith and by uh the
reviewers of of Hadith uh
thirdly Al
IM actually uh
was somehow uh taken by by uh his own uh
unauthentic knowledge regard in some of
the fabricated hadiths that were
reported by the
Shia without knowing that they are
either fabricated or even lied um with
uh to the
Prophet this is a great and terrible
mistake how would you accept something
that was reported by uh deviant groups
and they were not authentic and they
wanted to defend the particular opinion
and and defend their own way of uh of
and and and Faith uh regarding uh
certain
issue this this is the problem with uh
with Al
IM that he he was not careful in this
regard yes Al
IMB was was so masallah fair to him when
he said
in of himself uh was a man with good and
uh uh religiosity he was a religious man
he was a man of good
intention however he uh is like someone
who uh went out to the uh you know to
the woods at night and in the darkness
he was collecting uh uh you know uh
Woods H trying to find Good Woods to to
build fire with but of course in this
process you would take with with Woods
you know like snakes and other things
that are not needed and they they're
probably not the best quality that is
what is expressed in Arabic
by someone who's uh like uh going out in
the night uh looking for some Woods in
in in the Darkness
so uh this is the problem unless you are
armed with great knowledge of Hadith and
great knowledge of the Glorious Quran
and the Sunnah and the true um uh way of
of of the a you would fall into this
trap and that is the problem that we
found in some of the books of
tap went into the books of T and just
kept taking kept taking these reports
from uh the uh uh you know whether they
are correct whether they are weak or
fabricated he did not distinguish that's
why it was not right uh for uh IM to do
so the book is available yes it has some
scientific value because it was one of
the earlier um authored books in T and
we can find some reports but only uh
Scholars with knowledge of Hadith and
Arabic language and a uh can sift
through and find the best and TR and and
and and the true authentic reports
within all of these collections of
various stories and so on um this is
this is the problem with with with such
uh a book yes the book has its own
scientific
value as I said but not for anyone only
for those who are able to distinguish
and that's the recommendation for you as
a student of knowledge beginning to
understand and to study the subject of T
stay away from that don't be affected by
it don't depend on it only depend on the
authentic books like uh books by IB
jarar
by depend on those take the report from
them and then later on when you uh
become a a teacher a a strong student of
knowledge in this field you can go ahead
and and and depend on them and uh sift
through and find the truth but that's
not for anyone that's why many should
avoid it and that's why we have to warn
against against this and there are some
other books which we address inshallah
in the coming uh lessons by the grace of
Allah may Allah guide us to the truth
may Allah uh keep us away from any uh
incorrect knowledge and keep us on the
straight path and holding to the uh true
belief
of and the uh correct authentic reports
um of the T of the Glorious Quran the
words of Allah
