alhamdulillah
we start in the name of Allah the
compassionate the merciful all praise is
due to Allah subhanahu wa taala and May
the peace and blessings of Allah be upon
his Prophet Muhammad his family his
companions and all of his followers
until the Day of Reckoning uh let me
welcome you to this new uh lesson from
the series
of by zad Academy and when we uh address
uh today uh an issue that is very very
important we already talked
about
and so we talked
about which is to take the authentic
reports from uh the sayings of the
Prophet this the reports by
the
and then uh moving to some uh of the uh
by opinion by mere opinion by someone
who has his own uh uh intention trying
to you know either he's he's ignorant of
uh uh the authentication of
Hadith or just collecting whatever uh uh
he found in the books of tap just like
by
IM we talked about that already and we
warned against reading that that um kind
of of book now another uh book that we
need to be very very aware of and and
avoid looking particularly at this stage
of um of uh learning because we are in
the earlier uh uh you know stages of
knowing uh about T and which should
avoid uh reading in this um unless the
book is verified and authenticated yes
these these books um are available and
they are of some some uh uh uh yes
benefit to Scholars uh who are
specialized in in tap now we have this
uh book although was uh you know
authored in in in later times and the
12 13th century of Hijra but it has its
own value however uh there are some
problems in there let me uh first tell
you about the the book the book is by
title so he's looking after the spirit
of the meanings of the uh uh glorious
Quran in interpreting uh the Glorious
Quran and when he talked about meaning
the well often repeated seven verses
which are the verses of Al so beginning
from
Alat the author is
Abu mm AI
Ali so Al IM Ali died in the year
1,270 however his his book is so V so
big and uh he is this is like an
encyclopedia of T um where he collected
so much and so many sayings uh of T from
different uh sources he he he went back
to many of uh books of t such
as
Al Al
alzi uh and he also took from the
ofb
imak
IMB and others so what he did he
collected from uh both those who had
their own uh who belonged to different
groups either the T of by the salafi
scholars or by some deviant like
and and sufis and and and others this is
this is the issue the problem is he's
collecting so much and you cannot sift
through you cannot find the true
authentic reports from this huge
collection of various opinions and uh uh
reports um and segments taken from
various books of t
the the main issue the main problem with
uh this T is that uh uh Al IM Al Ali was
very
concerned uh uh and and very uh very
much attentive to the issue of uh Sufi
symbolism this is this is the problem
because what he says is that every um uh
word or aah would have an apparent
meaning just what appears to you to be
uh the the interpretation of this
particular uh word or Ayah and then
there
is which is the symbolic and the hidden
the hidden um meaning which is uh not
apparent so this is deviating uh uh the
Me the Meaning going away from uh the
truth because Allah does not hide any
particular meaning and they said only
those who are um very high in
understanding and they can they can they
can understand this these hidden
meanings they not apparent to every
one and he was carrying from these Sufi
uh uh figures like Al
Jun AB abas IB AB abas Ali who's uh very
very famous in uh in in Egypt where he
had uh he has a grave and people are
coming to look for uh you know Baraka
and blessings from from them this is all
deviant this is this is the problem this
is the issue that we need to to stay
away from because they they would bring
odd meanings away from the truth they're
not really the authentic reports uh that
we find in the Sunnah and the sayings of
the S who are the the ones who are who
were so close to the uh uh the
environment of the re ation of the
Glorious Quran
so obviously we need to depend on that
we need to make sure that we're getting
the right Knowledge from the right
sources this is the problem with Al IM
ali um who who although let me Warn and
and say that some of the reports even by
the sophies would be correct at times
but you cannot distinguish between what
is correct that was said by a sui uh uh
figure and uh what is really corresponds
or is is is going along the right um
salafi view this is the problem with
such uh issues like this so we have to
be very very careful and and stay away
from such uh ters because they will take
you away from the truth
and they will uh uh really might uh uh
pollute your your your mind with these
reports and issues and sometimes you'd
be taken away uh from the true authentic
uh understanding see the Quran is so
simple Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala gave us
very very clear message in the Glorious
Quran he did not want us to go and dig
uh through this and look into uh hidden
meanings uh here and there every meaning
is so clear whatever Allah whatever
Allah subhana wa
tala gave us uh you'll find uh this
later on inshallah we might talk about
in in in in um when you are in advanced
you'll come to some of the mashallah uh
who are taking the guidance the true
guidance from the Glorious Quran and
give you the meaning the meaning of
certain ayas or certain stories that are
reported in the Glorious Quran like that
of you know you know when you find
something like this you'd be you'd be so
pleased that he is depending on that yes
he's combining between U the T of
and a
of both of what was authentically
reported in the Glorious in in in in the
books of
of and the sayings of
the and again by your own understanding
based on the Arabic language based on
understanding the whole meaning um very
you know when you are so much aware of
what was said by uh by Allah in the
Glorious Quran itself or by the prophet
Alat taking the meaning and its clear
meaning there is no hidden and and the
problem with such tap is that you find
these uh figures of of Sufism talk about
like
J and others who really although he
carried some of the opinions and and
some of the reports reports uh reported
by salafi Scholars and and and Scholars
like or
uh you know but still still it's not
it's not really clear and it has to be
um you know uh reviewed and and and
edited and uh uh course presented but if
it's so much and if it's so clear it's
it's it's so huge in size and therefore
it's difficult to go and and sift
through so sometimes you need to leave
it only for the special Scholars to find
some benefits there and some some uh
value in these um and these kinds of of
tap but stay away from uh you know and
and and mundane people or people who had
little knowledge should stay away from
that may Allah subhana T guide us to the
truth may he help us understand the
Glorious book according to the
understanding of
the of course by the prophet the and the
and and the of the and have the right
meaning and understand what Allah
intended with his books with his book
subhana wa T to pass on to us may he
make us benefit from that and learn from
that finally let's talk about the uh uh
activities here uh Write a brief report
about what was
uh remarked
regarding and again what do you know of
the the symbolic kind of T and why it's
disliked and unacceptable these are two
good activities that I think you'll uh
you'll benefit from inshallah until we
