Kind: captions Language: en [Music] AC [Music] alhamdulillah I start in the name of Allah the lord of the world subhah waala I uh the peace I I say the peace and blessings May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon his Prophet Muhammad his family his companions and his followers all until the day of judgment now I'm going to continue this lesson uh uh in this lesson what I started in the uh earlier lesson regarding uh the of we already talked about ald only two ay we explained in the previous lesson and in these two ayas we can find uh uh some of the benefits what are some of the benefits well after the the first Ayah alhamd now shows you gives you a message of of of strength and power and um and of course uh that's that's how because he's the Lord he's in control but then uh the second Ayah comes after that by saying meaning that his his own control his own rubia and and lordship is not based on on um uh harshness or harm uh but rather on uh compassion and mercy so that is the first benefit the second benefit here is uh when Allah says uh after it is like a message of of of hope so uh again affirming exactly what we said earlier because if if it is that rub is based on his um vast Mercy subhanahu wa ta'ala and that gives you the hope that Allah subhah wa ta'ala is merciful is entirely merciful and specially merciful entirely merciful for everyone and especially merciful for his own uh uh friends for people who are with Iman people who uh obey him people who follow his straight path that's how we can see the benefit of having these two eyes consecutively uh one after the other uh if I if we have an activity for that for for the lesson why would again asking the same question just like I explained why would why did Allah subhana wa tal says um then follows that with I think the answer is so obvious and you can do it um why did the prophets uh use the word or in their own Dua in their own supplication and I think you know the answer from the previous lesson Also let's uh choose the right answer means is the forgiving of sins the one who's uh uh having the attribute of rahma or the one who reaches out to people with with Rah to servants with Rah which one of them well you know I think you know the answer very very clear the provision uh of Allah to the servants is it part of the general Mercy or the uh special Mercy or specific Mercy well I think you know the answer for that what does mean is it the worshiped is it Mal the one who's uh uh being close to and and and coming uh close to and and and uh and and uh being under his his own or the Creator and the um sustainer and and the controller of the Affairs of people so which one uh of these is the meaning of the word uh you need to correct the uh the the these statements um if uh the word or uh the uh word Alman comes alone it does not include the meaning of is that true or you need to correct correct the statement also you have to correct the statement the uh word or world uh uh in Arabic uh has a singular uh word from its own uh uh word the same from the same from the same word is that true I think it's not true and you have to uh correct that statement so these are the questions regarding that and let's let's go to uh the uh uh following Ayah uh which is now when we say this is the very famous mode of recitation and uh another which is part of the uh seven or modes of recitation that will reported we know that we have up to 14 but uh the uh ones that uh have a a very strong uh chain of narration are seven or 10 According to some Scholars so part of the correct seven is and the meaning is is basically the same Malik is the owner Malik is the king and of course if someone is a king he is the owner of uh his own sovereignty uh so he has Allah has the full sovereignty on the day of judgment where there is no one who has any control of anything of any sort he has no uh judgment he has no control um of anything uh a de the word Dean meaning uh requital and uh an an accountability meaning he is the one to uh to give rewards or to U punish uh and and the word de meaning uh uh is is is accountability because uh no that's that's that's the word uh or recompense if you will uh the word Dean by the way uh when being uh uh said normally uh meant uh the Shar and the uh and uh the religion and this is this is the common use of the word Dean as Allah says verily religion to Allah is Al Islam but also and and uh Dean that uh Allah sent the messengers with all the messengers uh were sent with one Dean which is uh Al Islam starting with Adam and then uh coming to the uh uh the relig The Messengers of uh of strength and and determination uh no ibraim M Isa and ending with Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam and uh uh the prophets and Messengers in between all of them have one same Dean and religion uh there is that's why it's incorrect to say that we have three different religions or we have the three Heavenly religions meaning Islam Christianity and Judaism only uh religion to Allah is one and what is different is is the uh sh or the legal system the laws are different as Allah says for everyone of you we made for them is a law and and uh a way of life meaning how you conduct yourself in certain uh details uh this would be different but the essence the principle is basically the same which is the Oneness of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and he is the only one worthy of worship and you cannot therefore you cannot uh uh you know make this mix between uh uh you know Christian and Judaism which which is a polytheist religion where they they they worship someone with Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala or something with Allah now uh when why do we say uh is he the owner of the day of judgment only or is he is he the owner of everything in this life as well as in the Hereafter well he is but only we say on the day of judgment there is no one who has anything um no sovereignty for anyone in this life yes um Allah may give someone uh the sovereignty and the ability to control something under his own uh uh you know control subhana wa tala the big control is is in the hands of Allah but he may give this person or that person on the day of judgment no one no one has any uh sovereignty whatsoever that's why uh this is this is mentioned inah uh what are the the uh what is the uh what can we take from this Ayah we said that uh the absolute sovereignty is for Allah subh and the day of judgment also the um servants are advised uh to uh work for the day of judgment for what saves them from Hellfire and what can benefit them on that day uh uh of course Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has uh the sovereignty very clearly on the day of judgment when he gets all the uh people from earlier times until later times in in in the history of humanity they are collected all on one uh uh plane and that's why in Surah Allah says he would be asking who has a sovereignty uh today and it says it's for Allah and uh the one subhanahu wa ta'ala the Supreme and the powerful and uh uh no one will be will be having anything on that day uh also uh on that day Allah subhana is the only uh Sovereign nobody has anything I think it's it's it's just only affirming uh exactly what we said uh earlier uh coming to the activity for for this lesson uh when we say the word Dean what do we mean uh by that do do do do we have different meanings of a you have to bring in uh uh verses from the Glorious Quran to support what you say and why would we attribute uh the sovereignty of the day of recompence uh y while Allah subhana T has a sovereignty over everything um at every time why why why is that so and then uh how true is the following statement Judaism Christianity and Islam all three heavenly religions is that a true statement and I think by this you know you know the answer which is uh which is clear I hope from what we said and from the curriculum that you have in your own hands may Allah subhana wa tala guide us to the truth and help us be on the straight path and uh uh be saved on the day of recompence when we meet Allah subhah wa ta'ala with all the people being resurrected and being being held accountable for what they do what they did in this life until I see you I leave you with Allah's care and protection [Music] for [Music] for
