Kind: captions Language: en [Music] AC [Music] alhamdulillah now how to pray and this is again a very big question what we'll focus upon is a description of how the prophet physically used to pray sallallahu alaih wasallam however the essence of prayer is in your heart is to comply with how the prophet used to pray but to fill your heart with the love of Allah Asel and glor glorifying him subhah wa ta'ala and to acknowledge that you are communicating with him this is the only time you would feel that you're benefiting from your Salat so the physical description of the prophet's prayer is first to face the to stand up and to offer T of the opening takir which says Allah abbar raising your hands to the level of your shoulders and your fingertips to the level of your ears and there is nothing as holding your ears like this like some schools of thought do reprimanding themselves why would you pull pull your ears down this is not from the Sunnah at all it's just like this and they touch their ears because of the description of the Hadith that he used to raise his hands to his ears that this is pointing to the tips and the hand to the shoulders but no where it said touching your shoulders or your ears then he used to put the right hand over the left hand and he used to look down and let look up in the prayer you don't look up you show your submissiveness and express your poverty while looking down at the place where you put your head in prostration then the prophet would say the opening Dua then he would seek refuge in Allah from Sha Satan and then says then he would recite the faat and afterwards recite a Surah of the Quran afterwards he would raise his hands again and then goes for Ru or bound position and would place his hands on the knees and spread the fingers as described earlier and keeping his arms away from his sides making his back straight and his head straight and he does not tilt neither one saying subh three times and would sometimes add to that and glorifying Allah Asel when he is in the Bowing position then he raises his head and says to the standing position raising his hands again in the same fashion and saying either one then he would add to that as a Sunnah by saying all of these are words and phrases of praising Allah and glorifying him it has to be said in Arabic and when reciting Quran in loud raas whether it is or we notice that the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallah alhi wasallam that in M he used to recite with the short suras of Al muf sometimes he would read long suras such as in he used to recite with long suras of and it also can be possible that sometimes he would read short suras of such asah or and in the remaining he would read from the middle so people ask what is Al mu so alal begins with Surah which if I'm not mistaken chapter 49 or 50 and it ends with chapter4 and it is called because it has many uh um short ayas to it and the long mu or suras of is from tillah and the middle of the is from until and the short is from to the end of the Quran then the prophet would sayb without raising his hands to fall into prostration when prostrating he prostrates on seven limbs as per the Hadith the forehead alongside with the nose this is one two hands two knees and the two feet he would erect his arms so he would not place them on the ground and he would would keep them away from his sides he would keep his stomach away from his thighs his thighs away from his legs and he would not extend his back like a person lying on his face so it would be moderately prostrating no extremes of lying on the ground like Superman some people do this and not putting yourself all together like like a beast or a dog would prostrate he used to say subh three times and in sujud he advised us to say a lot of Dua so prolong your sujud and he said ask Allah as much as you can because it's worthy to be responded to after the two sjas he says or after the first s he says allahar and he sits down in a sitting position inash position where you sit on your left foot erecting your right foot pointing the toes to the you place your right hand on the right thigh or on your right knee and you place your left hand on your left thigh as well while sitting between the two sujud you say ET then you offer the second sujud exactly like the first one in everything then you rise up to the second R saying allahar in the second R you do exactly like you had done in the first raak but without the opening Dua and without seeking Refuge from uh uh in Allah from Satan once you conclude the second raak with the and the two you sit for the in the position you read theah and you choose the best of the virgins there are many virgins you bet you choose the uh most common one like the Hadith of and you can shift and change the Sunnah is as stated in to do the 53 uh uh sign and you point with your index finger and you look at your index finger uh while in the T position if it is a three or four ra Salat when you stand up to the third R after the first tah you raise your hands as mentioned in Tak and you re uh complete the rest of the Salat as you did in the first and second raak but reciting the F only and if you add another Surah this is fine but the majority of the time the prophet used to only recite the fat then you sit in the third or the fourth for the second and the second t as we've stated use it in the position so you read the and you add to it the salutation upon the prophet to the end and then afterwards you are recommended to say the Dua seeking refuge in Allah from four things so you seek refuge in Allah from the torment of Hellfire the torment of the Grave from the fitna of life and death and from the fitna of the Antichrist or the impostor uh Messiah or the deal and then you ask from whatever you want from this dun or for the Hereafter after that you conclude your prayer by saying asalam alayum so that your Chic would be uh apparent to those praying behind you some say that it is recommended to say before you offer Salam and as per theith of mu may Allah be pleased with him it's wor a point noting that one of the sunas of the prayer is to pray to a Sutra or to a visor or to a screen or to place something in front of you so it's recommended that you pray to a thing you put in front of you or to a wall or to a pillar in the Masjid or to someone who's sitting so that it would give a uh a sign to people that you're praying so that they cannot uh interfere your boundaries and cross in front of you while praying and the Sunnah is to get as close as possible to this Sutra the prophet Sall said when one of you prays he should should pray to a Sutra and he should approach it when one of you prays let him pray facing a Sutra and let him stand close to it as the prophet said then after the prayer is over it is highly recommended that one makes after the prayer because Allah Asel says in the Quran and when you have completed the prayer remember Allah standing sitting or lying on your sides so this is a confirmed Sunnah and the prophet Alam used to say after concluding the prayer as of May Allah be pleased with him he used to say at the conclusion of the prayer so this is what the prophet used to say at the end of the and as per the Hadith ofan may Allah be pleased with him the servant of the Prophet Sall wasallam he said whenever the prophet concluded his prayer he would seek refuge in Allah Thrice and he would say and this is the first thing the prophet would utter and also he used to offer Subhan Allah alhamdulillah allahar 33 times after uh uh the Salat is over and the prophet recommended this and he would um also encourage us to say Subhan Allah 33 alhamdulillah 33 allahar 34 times and as per thei of the prophet ordered me to recite the two mu at the end of the Salat and it is not at all part of the Sunnah to raise your hands as so many Muslims do after the conclusion of the Salat and making Dua this is an innovation it was never done by the prophet wasam or his companions and I don't know where the the people had uh um adopted this uh particular act in Salat it is not from the [Music] for [Music] for
