alhamdulillah
in the name of Allah the compassionate
the merciful all praise is due to Allah
and May the peace and blessings of Allah
be upon his Prophet Muhammad his family
his companions and all of his followers
until the day of Resurrection I welcome
you to this new episode from uh the
series of T level two at zad Academy and
uh I am going to uh read the ayas in
Surah anat and these these are ayas 15
to 26 so these are 11 ay in this Surah
where Allah subhana says
so uh what is the meaning of course the
translation is before you Allah says has
there reached you the story of Moses
when his Lord called to him in the
sacred Valley of TOA go to Pharaoh
indeed he has transgressed
and say to him would you be willing to
purify yourself and let me guide you to
your lord so you would fear him and he
showed him the greatest sign but Pharaoh
denied and disobeyed then he turned his
back
striving and he gathered his people and
called out and said I am your most
exalted Lord so Allah seized him in
exemplary punishment in the Hereafter
and in this life indeed that is a
warning for whoever would fear Allah
subhanahu wa taala so this is the uh
translation in English of the meaning of
these ayas now starting with the first
one has their teached you the story of
Moses that is has there come to you oh
Muhammad of course the AY is addressing
the
prophet meaning oh Prophet Muhammad the
story of
Moses this is a word of consolation to
the prophet talking about an earlier
Prophet where we have example good
example in in him what happened to him
when his Lord called him in the sacred
Valley
of when Allah called him uh in the
Blessed sacred Valley uh TA in a name
Tua of course is the name of the Sacred
Valley it was sacred because Allah
revealed uh uh the Revelation his own
Revelation in that place the valley was
sacred because Allah sent Revelation to
mam in that place go to Pharaoh now or
Pharaoh uh
indeed he has
transgressed has transgressed he went
beyond the limits he actually uh
overstepped the mark in his
rejection uh because that is the
transgression against Allah subh waala
and rejecting his his a subhanahu waala
um Allah
says uh translated as transgression so
he went he went beyond that and uh we
say a word from the same root like uh as
Allah says subhah waala inah
so uh indeed when the water overwhelmed
meaning we carried you in Algeria the
moving uh uh
ship the the the water increased and
overwhelmed uh over overflowed its
limits so that's it's it's coming from
that word um so the water increased
there and uh from the same root uh comes
the word we know that is anyone who's
ruling by uh a rule other than Allah's
Rule subhah and that's why he went
beyond the limits for him as a human
being and he uh is interfering with
Allah's rule subhah wa ta'ala and
Allah's sovereignty and the rule is for
him subhanahu wa taala or accepting to
be worshiped uh
um or to worship anyone other than Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala because that is
overstepping the mark and say to
him say to him would you be willing to
purify yourself meaning to purify
yourself from faults from shortcomings
from sins uh by
saying there is no God worthy of worship
except Allah because he uh he was
claiming that he was
uh Allah subhana wa tala he was a lord
he was the the Lord of his own people
but uh as Allah said and let me guide
you to your lord as you would fear
him so that I guide you to the path of
obedience to your lord so that you might
fear Him subhanahu wa ta'ala
after after you come to know him because
of course when when Allah
says what is the difference between and
here Allah
says so comes after knowledge it's based
on knowledge and uh fear is is just
basically
uh just natural without uh pure pure
fear without without knowledge before so
uh this is the difference between and
and you find the two terms used in in
the Glorious Quran
anyway is preceded by knowledge and
therefore M was asked to was saying
Allah saying to MSA and guide you to
guide you to Allah so first you know
Allah and you know his path and then of
course this will bring or uh uh fear uh
right fear uh and fear with knowledge
from him subhah wa tala guidance is
mentioned here before fear indicates
that Allah does not uh occur except
after coming to know him so the the fear
will not happen real fear unless a
person is does know Allah subh waala in
another Ayah Allah says for example uh
only those fear Allah from among his
servants uh who have
knowledge so those who have knowledge of
course are the ones who fear Allah this
is inah F ayat 28 and he showed him the
greatest
sign what is the greatest sign uh he he
he gave him two signs actually first he
uh uh his hand actually appeared as as
white he took it from his own uh inside
and in and he uh it was it was
uh appearing white to the unlooked and
his own staff or stick uh when it
clearly turned into a snake so uh he
gave him these two AAS first but uh he
gave him AAS that were not given to any
human being because they're not natural
there this is this is something that to
prove that he was coming from Allah it's
not magic because he his own stick or
staff turned into a snake and then the
uh uh magicians tried to imitate this
thing and and and throw their own uh
staffs and they thought that okay uh
they will beat um the staff of mahat but
this did not happen because it uh the
staff of Musa ate all of these various
sticks U according to what people see
just the the onlookers so these are the
signs that he was he was given then he
turned his back
striving of course
he he did not accept and he
turned Pharaoh actually denied and
disobeyed rejected the message and
disobeyed the command of Allah subhah wa
taala then he turned his back
striving he wanted to do something in
return to want to retaliate to um you
know prove that
musat was wrong so he gathered his his
own people he gathered he gathered all
all of his own people um and these
people from different uh uh jobs and
different uh assignments people of his
kingdom uh assembling his cours uh to uh
advise him and his troops to fight um
and to wage war and bringing people
together on the day to attend the day of
Festival so all of these were were
gathered all together on on that day in
order to prove that uh you know
uh The Magicians will win and Musa will
will be proven wrong on that day and
called out and said I am your most
exalted
Lord uh there is no other uh Lord other
than me so Allah subhana seized him in
exemplary punishment in the uh uh
Hereafter and in this
life Allah subhah waala roughed him
vengeance upon uh roughed uh vengeance
upon him with punishment in this world
and in the Hereafter actually Allah
started with the Hereafter then um the
this life thus he made him a lesson an
example to uh for other rebellious uh uh
people like him uh so if anyone wanted
to do that Allah will take him just like
he take faroh indeed in this is a
warning for whoever would fear
Allah so there is an advice there is an
exaltation uh exaltation for uh those
who fear Allah subhanahu wa taala this
is this is very very important and um
let me uh get into to some some benefits
of these ayyas well there is a benefit
here where Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala in
this story Fon uh was mentioning how the
polytheists denied the uh
Resurrection um there are similarities
between uh the the people of of Fon um
and and and qur now the same same thing
they rejected Fon and qur they did the
same thing and also there are
similarities between Muhammad wasallam
and
musat both were profets and supported by
Allah subhanahu wa taala and it's a
warning again to the polies that just
like Allah subhah wa taala destroyed
pharaoh and his own people he will
destroy you if you insist on rejecting
uh and disbelieving uh in the prophet
sallallah alai in Allah's message so
that is that's the first lesson we we
learn the second one is that um the uh
uh it is essential uh to be gentle and
and kind uh when addressing
non-believers even even tyrants and and
people uh who may not agree with you so
that is a way of Da and it's it's
important to use uh good words and to
call them
nicely uh in the beginning so that you
might grab bring them closer to the
message of Allah subhana wa the you of
the word then he turned his back
striving indicates that Fon strove hard
and did his utmost to convince his
people of his own message and uh and
that's normally the way uh the
disbelievers always do that so a Muslim
is supposed to uh strive hard
to uh convey the message of Allah subhah
wa taala to those who reject it and
those to are awaiting for it and then um
uh Allah sees
him in exemplary punishment in the
Hereafter and in this life meaning that
uh uh the first Allah talked about the
Hereafter because it's more severe and
more lasting before this duny because
although this dun has has a punishment
but the hereafters punishment is more
severe and more lasting that brings us
to the end and we'll start inshallah
next time uh maybe you have time for the
activities you have to check the
activities uh Drive the following from
the quranic passage lesson for dawa we
talked about that but about dawa and how
to be nice and gentle in calling other
people the reason why the punishment of
the Hereafter is mentioned before we
just answer that question and explain
the meaning of the following words
sacred you know holy or or um very uh uh
revered and uh turned his back meaning
that he uh shun away and then gathered
his people meaning he collected everyone
from all different types and and and
like soldiers and and corers and others
this brings us to the end of today's
episode until I see you in the coming
episode I leave you with Allah's care
