Kind: captions Language: en [Music] AC [Music] alham I start as always in the name of Allah the compassion of the merciful by saying all praise is due to Allah the almighty and May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon his Prophet Muhammad his family his companions and all of his followers until the Day of Reckoning I welcome you to this uh episode of the series T of tap level two at Zed Academy and we are uh continuing with the interpretation ation of the ayy from and we reached into Ayah 34 and we going to recite from 34 to 41 and give the interpretation therein uh Allah subh says in the Glorious Quran now first Ayah but when there comes the greatest overwhelming Calamity the overwhelming Calamity is one of the names of the day of Resurrection as you know Allah mentioned so many names uh of the day of judgment like all of these are names for the day of judgment and this word is um where when an event is so overwhelming in Arabic we say the the verb it is taken from the phrase like when the water is so overwhelming uh then actually covers everything that is a description of extreme hardship and herror uh uh and horror that uh that day that's why it's called it's called because actually of the overwhelming horror and uh intensity and and fear of the people uh that's that's why and Allah says the greatest uh again to emphasize how terrible it will be not only it is where it's overwhelming Calamity but rather it is going to be again a terrifying uh thing to happen so if it look at this it's it's D and it's and it's greatest so it's giving it a a a strong uh emphasis and how terrible that day will be the day when man will remember that for which he uh strove so whatever a person was striving to do and to to work on and it will it will will remember that whether it was good or bad whether it was terrible or or nice it will be uh shown to the person and he will find it in front of him and hellfire will be exposed for all those who see and of course so hell will be brought forth uh to both people you know both the Muslims and the uh the Believers and the non-believers they will all be able to see it but of course uh they will see it in different way as as will come inshallah so as for He Who transgress and preferred the life of this world so so that is uh the one who overstepped the mark that is we always say transgressed so that is the transgression is is to uh overstep the the mark in misguidance and evildoing uh and also beside that they prefer this life over for the uh Second Life the the Hereafter of course uh uh they uh they they are in loss because if they if they do it of course uh the answer coming in the in in the coming aah uh then indeed Hellfire will be his Refuge so Hellfire will be his Refuge or Abode or place of uh uh his his his his stay his destination his ultimate destination will be the fire the word translated as Refuge Al ma is like translated as Refuge refers to the place where a person a a person is where he returns to or settles in that is the the word Mawa but as for those who uh but as for He Who feared standing before his Lord and prevented the soul from unlawful inclination then indeed Paradise will be his Refuge so the one who uh fears Allah subhana T and fears standing before Allah because he knows that Allah is going to hold him accountable and as a result of this fear he forbade himself to follow whims and desires and Pleasures uh actually his ultimate destination will be paradise so it's it's a very uh good comparison and and clear C that look if you do this that is the end if you do this that is the end so it should be made clear for those who uh choose to disbelieve and know what is awaiting them and also for those who believe um and what is awaiting them in the Hereafter what we learn from these ayas is is the following in the verse and hellfire will be exposed for all those who see that indicates that everyone will be seeing Hellfire the Believers and the non-believers as we mention that but as for the Believers they will be pleased that they are uh and appreciate uh that they were saved from Hellfire and they will be protected and how Allah uh bestowed his mercy and uh uh his favor upon them to stay away from that Hellfire uh while uh before they uh and uh of course they were not admitted however as for the disbelievers they will see it even even they will get this terrible feeling and uh a waiting they will be in in in in total fear as they are going to enter uh into Hellfire may Allah forbid us from being admitted to it but as for uh those who feared Allah subhana T before his Lord and prevented uh the soul from unlawful inclination what do we get from this Ayah well Allah subhana T mentions together in one place fear of standing before Allah and forbidding oneself to follow unlawful inclination well why is Allah saying because only fear of Allah and and only fear is the strongest protection that uh resists the powerful uh pull of desires this unlawful inclination where a person wants to do something but he fears Allah he remembers his standing before Allah that's why it is always good uh to uh to be more effective in repelling uh whims and desires is is the fear of standing before Allah subhah wa tal always remembering is is the way of Salvation the way to uh to be safe on the day of judgment and for that reason the Glorious Quran mentions uh them together in one verse that is the reason why they are uh mentioned together uh going into activities of this uh lesson here or this episode um the smooth uh mention the Surah sorry the Surah mentions uh transgression twice uh quote those two places uh and identify the connection between them remember in the first Ayah uh uh where we talked about that in the previous episode we said uh what so the word transgressions because he transgressed so that is the first one and in this uh episode we talked about as for the one who transgresses or transgressed so uh look Allah is mentioning the two together and and of course the connection is is very very easy I mean because uh mam was sent to pharaoh who transgressed and anyone transgressing is going to find this terrible uh end just like uh Pharaoh uh found the terrible uh end in this life and in the Hereafter he is punished by by Hellfire so uh that is that is the uh the punishment for transgression or overstepping the the marks in the Disobedience of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala what is the the reason why the day of Resurrection is called the overwhelming Calamity of course it's it's very obvious that it is it is uh a Calamity because it's so severe and and terrible and it covers everything that's why it's called a so because it is like a a terrible overwhelming Calamity that you cannot escape from and it will cover everyone and everyone will find hardship and difficulty in it why um uh our fear of standing before Allah uh and uh restraining the self from following unlawful inclination mentioned together in the same Place well we already talked about that and we said because you know the fear of Allah is the strongest protection and and barrier uh for a person from falling into the unlawful inclination or whims and desires and pleasures and things that will lead them into into the Disobedience of Allah subh so you restrained from that because you fear Allah subhah wa tala that's why they are mentioned together in this particular verse may Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala help us stay on the right path and stay away from Al and be obedient and and be rewarded with Paradise in the hereafter [Music] for for [Music]
