we start in the name of Allah The
Compassion of the merciful all praise is
due to Allah and May the peace and
blessings of Allah be upon his Prophet
Muhammad his family and his companions
all until the day of Resurrection I
welcome you to this new episode of T
level two at zad Academy and we are
continuing Surah Al and we read in this
Surah where we stopped last time uh uh
the saying of Allah subhah wa ta'ala no
indeed the record of the wicked is in
sigin
and what can make you know what
is it is their destination recorded in a
register
inscribed W that day to the deniers
who deny the day of
recompense and none deny it except every
sinful
transgressor when our verses are recited
to him he says Legends of the former
peoples
when are verses okay no rather the Satan
has covered their hearts of that which
they were
earning no rather the the stain has
covered their hearts of that which they
were
earning
indeed from their Lord that day they
will be
partitioned then indeed they will enter
and Burn in Hell
Fire then it will be said to
them this is what you used to
deny so uh the meaning of these of these
ay is no indeed the record of the wicked
is in
s uh the word s is uh uh meaning the
seventh lowest Earth the seventh and
lowest Earth the Abode of the evildoers
where they will settle therein uh uh
when they are resurrected so that is
that
is the record meaning the the the
disbelievers that because of their bad
record they will be in in Hellfire sigin
derived from the word Sig it's like even
like a a prison for them and what can
you make uh what can you what can make
you know what
is this is like to tell you about this
is a rhetorical question which serves to
emphasize how how serious that matter is
it's an eternal prison and everlasting
punishment for them it is their
destination recorded in a register
inscribed this is not an exploration of
what
is you think that the meaning of s is no
it's not it's not rather the description
of the register or book
mentioned this is the book that that was
written it is in other words what is
decreed for them and their ultimate fate
in sinin is decreed and the matter is
finalized and finished so nothing will
be added nor from it nor substracted
from it meaning that uh this is what has
been decided for them based on what they
did in this in this life then Allah says
when
woo that day to the
deniers that doom and loss is theirs
because of what they did uh who deny the
day of free
compass they denied and they disbelieve
in it they think it will happen and none
deny it except every sinful transgressor
of course those who believe will not uh
uh of course dis those who believe will
not uh deny that day but those who
disbelieve will find that day very very
uh hard to believe in and in fact they
will not believe in it and they are
sinful an agressors because they they um
overstep the mark in their transgression
against Allah and his book and his and
his warning throughout the Glorious
Quran when our verses are recited to
them he says
uh uh when our when our verses recited
to
him he says Legends of the former
peoples they don't think it is true and
they said these are some of the fables
and falsehoods of the people before us
and uh uh they uh that's what they uh
are presented with uh on uh and and the
day of judgment that that's what they
what they they said in this life okay so
uh when the book of Allah is is being
recited for them that's what they said
uh no rather the
stain uh has covered their hearts of
which they were um earning of
course because of the their rejection
denial bad Deeds evil doing all of these
things that have brought this stain on
their heart Hearts until they are
engulfed in in in that in that and
therefore they are they're so bad um and
and therefore uh Allah is saying which
is St which is translated as no uh this
a way of rebuke to
them this is not a legend of the former
peoples rather uh they became covered
until they could no longer see the truth
the word ran is translated as stain
which is overwhelming or covering and in
the Hadith as narrated that Abu said the
prophet wasam said when a person commits
a sin a black spot or dot appears on his
heart if it uh if he gives it up asks
Allah for forgiveness and repent his
heart will be cleansed and if he does it
again the spot will grow until it covers
his heart so that is AR which is over
the heart and this will what prevents a
person from uh coming to Allah and
remembering him and uh indeed learning
about his own uh
book subhanahu waala continuing with the
with the with the ayas Allah says no
indeed from their
lord uh that day they will be
partitioned meaning that they will not
be able to see Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
on that
day because they denied uh the uh the
day of Resurrection they will not be
giving the Bliss and the uh honor of
seeing Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala uh
indeed from their Lord that day they
will be partitioned um so they will be
barred from uh that that privilege uh on
the day of
judgment uh then indeed they will enter
and burn in Hellfire so as uh instead of
that they will be getting into Hellfire
and they will be uh uh touched by the
heat of the fire and be burned by it
that will be said to them and then it
will be said to them
it will be said as a way of rebuke which
is again a psychological punishment
along with the physical punishment the
combination of the two this is what you
use to deny and now what you disbelieved
in is coming before your eyes what we
can learn from these uh verses is is is
the following these verses uh warn
against sin and uh uh of course the
heart is covered little by little
until its light is ex extinguished um
and it loses Insight be because of of
what they what they're doing so one has
to be very very careful uh not to uh to
see uh uh the truth because of what they
did because they should be afraid of not
seeing the truth and and following
Allah's commandment subhana
because of the sins that they will go
and and create that stain over the heart
uh the uh second point
is quote evidences to prove that
disbelievers will see Allah of course
Allah will be seen by the uh Believers
on the day of judgment uh um but uh
indeed from their lord the day will be
the partition so the non-believers will
not uh see Allah if the non-believers
will see will not see Allah then of
course this um indicates that the
Believers will see Allah subhah
waala Allah says that and another Ayah
in the Glorious Quran so they will be
looking at Allah subhanahu wa taala and
enjoying the uh his uh looking at him uh
and enjoy that Bliss uh by his own Grace
subhanahu waala going into activities
explain the meaning of the following
words and phrases s you know what is
what sinin is is the seventh lowest uh
uh uh
uh degree or uh land in in in in uh in
Hellfire the inscribed is uh the uh book
that is written um and uh uh what is uh
in in written in inside it um Legends of
the former peoples meaning the fables
and and and uh and uh whatever they they
were talking about something of the past
it's not it's not true according to them
and uh stain or ran is what is
overwhelming stain the covering meaning
ran is is covering overwhelming the
heart uh they will enter burn in
Hellfire of course that
is they will they will enter in and burn
into into Hellfire as as a punishment
this is beside the other punishments U
but this is physical and U and uh uh
psychological uh as well how does this
verse know indeed from their Lord that
day they will be partitioned prove that
the people of paradise will see Allah we
said in contrast if the they
disbelievers will not be able to see
Allah then the Believers will be able to
see Allah
otherwise what is the benefit of saying
that they will not they will be screened
from seeing Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala
uh thirdly the partition or
screen reflects a subtle connection
between these two verses rather uh no
rather the stain um has covered their
hearts of that which they were um
earning and know indeed from the Lord
that day they will be
partitioned well the connection is is so
clear when did they not they were not
able to see the truth in this life
because of their earning what they did
the evil doing and the bad things the
bad
Deeds of course they will not be able to
see uh Allah uh in the in the Hereafter
so simple simple connection mashallah
now going into another set of
ayas Allah says subhah wa ta'ala
uh or no indeed the record of the right
of the righteous is in so in in
comparison to that
I will let you read uh this the text the
meaning in English uh due to the
shortness of time but uh uh of course I
can go quickly on some of the uh
meanings of this a no indeed the record
of the uh righteous is
in is the highest position in Paradise
the righteous or
AB are the ones who obey Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala and who are enjoying uh who uh
enjoying and and avoid what uh enjoying
enjoying what Allah asked and does what
he enjoys and and and avoids what he
forbids their destination would be in
the s th heaven in which the souls of
the Believers will fall so like the um
Wicked will be in the lowest part of
Hellfire and the righteous will be in
the highest level and place in Paradise
so look at the comparison and what can
make you uh know of this
of again a question to uh who about Mah
rhetorical question about you know what
uh what you what what could you imagine
uh what this is so high and elevated um
in
Sublimity upon Sublimity so they are in
a high place over a high place it is
their destination recorded in a register
inscribed the same thing it was written
for them just like it was written for
the disbelievers as well and uh Allah
said
uh which is witnessed by those brought
near to Allah this refers to the angels
and he said they witness by those from
every Heaven who are close so it's
either by Allah by the Angels or by
those who are close to Allah subhanahu
waala indeed the righteous will be in
pleasure both the physical and the
spiritual Pleasures as Allah says
so unordained couches observing meaning
seeing Allah subhah wa ta'ala on these
the best uh uh of uh of uh couches
sitting enjoying and some of the C the
scholars said that looking even uh
includes gra gazing upon the countenance
of Allah subhana wa
tala as we said earlier and couches or
arik refers to um
adorned coach that is surrounded by
something like curtains it is one of the
finest types of couches meaning it's
it's a great great Bliss as we can
expect I think we need to stop here and
um continue inshah in the coming episode
until then I leave you with Allah's care
and protection
