alhamdulillah Islamic educ two and the
Deeds Done by the heart this beautiful
subject that we ask Allah subhana tal to
make us among those who are obedient to
Allah with the Deeds that they do with
their hearts with their speech of their
tongue and with their physical actions
one of the beautiful acts of worship
that is the and the Delight of the
people of Jenna that the Believers get a
share of it in this life which is to be
pleased and they subjects where a person
is is pleased with but to have this uh
act of worship and that is to be pleased
with Allah subhana tala to be pleased
with the dean of Islam to be pleased
with the prophet sallallahu alaihi
wasallam so this is one of the highest
levels of the Deeds Done by the heart
because if when we talk about the
rewards of the people of Jenna what is
the highest level of rewards of the
people of Jenna is that Allah subhana T
is pleased with them that's the highest
rewards of the people of Jenna and as a
result of that they would get to see
Allah subhana wa tala so to attain that
in this life to be among those who Allah
subh T is pleased with in this life this
is the best thing that can happen to a
person and uh that's why the
word is to be pleased which is oppos
opposite to being displeased or so when
a person's self is in state of
tranquility and being content with what
a person would have you're pleased with
your house that means what you you quit
looking around for another place to live
in you're pleased with your spouse
you're pleased with whatever right
you're pleased with your car why would
you want to have another one so to be
content and that's why when it comes to
religious meanings is that a person is
always pleased and content with whatever
rulings whether it's a matter of to
Allah with your worship of Allah subhana
wa tala whether it's with what Allah
subhana T decree upon you you're pleased
with whatever Allah subhana taala
decrees upon you as an individual and
that's why Allah subhana tala is pleased
with those who are pleased with him as
we would get to know there are different
levels of different levels of this
pleasure the pleasure of the heart
according to one's imans one's strength
of one's faith and according to also
what is a person is pleased with for
example the Hadith of the
prophet he said
he tasted the taste of Al the one that
is pleased with Allah subhana tala as
his Lord and with the dean of Al Islam
as his religion and with Muhammad
sallallahu alaihi wasallam as the
messenger of Allah so when a person is
pleased with Allah subhana tala what
does that mean and how this Hadith to be
explained this is a a mandatory and and
it's important matter for us to learn
you know and this is as the early
generations of Islam agreed upon that to
be pleased with the of Allah for example
you know and to be patient when it comes
to the H and the commands of Allah
subhana tala and uh this is what brings
the matters of Dean together in the
hearts of the person so what does it
mean to be pleased with Allah subhah wa
tala as the Lord of
theam what is the meaning of the lord of
the the Creator the sustainer the
provider so a person would hate so much
in his heart the fact that people would
worship other than Allah subhana tala
as Allah
says say Muhammad s is it other than
Allah that I seek as my Lord when he's
the Lord of all
things to be pleased with Allah subhana
t as the Lord of theam anything that
happens in this universe by Allah
subhana T you're pleased with that it
doesn't mean that a person is pleased
with sins but he's pleased with what
Allah subhana T decreed as far as the
action of Allah subhana tala is
concerned to love for the sake of Allah
to ha to hate for the sake of Allah to
love the messenger Salli wasallam to
love
the the people of knowledge the
righteous ones why because this is all
part of the love of Allah subh T being
pleased with Allah and to hate for the
sake of Allah what Allah subhana T
forbid and so on
so he's pleased with his Lord when it
comes to even the dean of
you get to know that Allah subhana T
forbade something you're pleased with it
you're not opposing this you're not
you're not resisting it you're not
finding a way for yourself to follow
your desire if this is from Allah
subhana we say we listen and we obey and
to be pleased with the religion of Al
Islam as one's religion and this is the
religion of Islam is from Allah subhana
tala it's part of being pleased with
Allah subhana wa tala is to believe in
the religion of Islam with all what is
in the religion of Al Islam as Allah
subhana
said would it be other than Allah
subhana T that I seek as a judge when he
subhana T brought down the book unto you
in
details he is the creator of the heavens
and the Earth he's the one that created
us we have no say whatsoever if it's the
command of Allah subhana wa tala we
should have this our hearts and to be
pleased with Allah subhana wa tala and
the disbelievers they hated the pleasure
of Allah as Allah
says that is the disbelievers because
they followed What bring the wrath of
Allah subhana tal upon them and they
hated the pleasure of Allah so as a
result of that Allah ruined their
actions so if people would say we're
pleased with the de of Al Islam as our
religion but then they follow man-made
laws they follow the the things that
people would establish against the Deen
of Allah you know how how is that be a
sign that a person is pleased with the
Deen of al- Islam being pleased with the
dean of Al Islam that you're proud of it
you don't try to alter or twist things
and to justify for oneself not to rule
with the dean of al- Islam whether you
are a ruler whether you are an
individual whether you are in your
household to be pleased with the de of
Al Islam to be pleased with what Allah
subhana T permitted to be pleased with
what Allah subhana T forbade and to be
proud of this because this is from Allah
subhana tala the Lord of
theam uh when we see the fitan and the
tribulations and the life that we live
in when some people are pleased with the
lifestyle of the disbelievers for
example or their matters of belief or
their uh you know habits and the like of
this they want to make it part of how
the Muslims they live their life and to
make them the Muslims imitate the
disbelievers and their Affairs you know
is this is a sign that a person is
pleased with the religion of Islam as
the religion that Allah chose for the
people when people would choose for
people to be free free mixing and not
wearing hijab and having all these types
of sinful acts to be openly committed
you know where is being pleased with the
dean of Al Islam as the way that a
person should follow and the same thing
with you know secularism and the like of
this this is all signs that a person is
not pleased with Allah subhana tal with
the religion of Islam as one's religion
and as we say this after every aan when
a person is and every morning and every
evening to
say that you're pleased with Allah subh
as your Lord You're pleased with the
religion of Al Islam as your religion
and to be pleased with the prophet
sallallahu alaihi wasallam as your
prophet you know this is words that is a
covenant between us and Allah subhana wa
tala and even before we get to know any
rulings meaning that if a person from
the very beginning and this is related
to the foundation of the religion
someone believes in Muhammed what does
that mean there's no one worthy of
worship except Allah and that the
prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam is
the final messenger of Allah so as a
result of that before even getting to
know what's Haram and Halal you're
already pleased with what whatever Allah
subhana tala the creator of the heavens
and the Earth the one that is worthy of
worship would command you to do you're
pleased with that before you get to know
it once you know it it's just a matter
of submission so and it's different than
someone if he says it says that he's
pleased with Allah subhana t as his Lord
with the dean of al- Islam as his
religion and the prophet is his
messenger then he is confronted or
presented to him a command from Allah
this is Haram this is halal do this do
not do this and it's all from Allah
subhana tala then he would find all
kinds of excuses or turn away from it
that means he's not pleased with the
dean of Allah subhana wa tala as the
religion of an Islam that he wants to
follow in the details does not make him
as a disbeliever if it comes into sinful
acts but it's a disease in the heart if
a person has this act of worship with
being pleased with the religion of Islam
as his religion then his concern is to
learn his concern concern is not to find
a way out or differences of opinion that
would make him be loose when it comes to
some of the commands of Allah but rather
his concern is to know what Allah
subhana T wants from him and then he
would seek help from Allah subhana wa
tala to submit oneself to the commands
of Allah subhana tala so this is a
serious matter and Allah subhana T
condemned those who would say what they
don't believe
why do you say something that you don't
act upon this is a great sin that a
person would say something that he's not
upon so if you
say that you're pleased with Allah as
your lord then be pleased with Allah
with whatever he decree upon you be
pleased with the religion of Al Islam as
your religion with whatever the de of
Islam is in if music is Haram you're
pleased with that if five day Salah is
early so early you know then you're
pleased with that it's difficult for you
see help seek means of establishing it
but you're pleased with that you don't
try to alter or change in things like
this if Allah subhana command you to be
kind to your to your wife be pleased
with that right if Allah subhana T
command the wife to be obedient to her
husband be pleased with that and fulfill
the commands of Allah right not
following one's desire so this is such a
serious and a beautiful matter and makes
the person wants to learn more and more
of the dean of Allah because the more
you learn the more you're pleased with
the commands of Allah and the dean of-
Islam and then the last part of the or
the third part of being pleased with
is to be pleased with the prophet
sallallahu alaihi wasallam as the
prophet and the final messenger of Allah
but we'll talk about that in next time
by the will of Allah
subh
