continuing with the names and attributes
of Allah subh
in Islamic Creed level two and we talked
about many different aspects of it
according to the belief of the people
of and continuing with some of the
attributes of Allah subhana wa tala that
we need to be upon which is something
that all of the names and attributes of
Allah subhana wa tala we need to be upon
the proper understanding of it but just
mentioning some of them those who some
of those who deviated from the proper
belief they have some disputes with
regarding to them one of which is this
beautiful attribute of Allah subhana wa
tala which is the attribute
of and is the mercy and Allah subhana wa
tala is the most merciful subhah wa
ta'ala as many verses in the Quran talks
about Allah subhana wa tala
being the most forgiver the most
merciful subhah wa taala that when
someone commits a sin and he repents to
Allah subhana wa tala Allah subhana T
forgive his sins
and not just that but he bestow his
mercy upon him he rewards him he make
him enter the Jenna of Allah subhah wa
tala and also Allah subhana
says Allah subhana tala is the most
merciful of all those who have mercy and
in the human beings every human being
they have mercy in them towards the
loved ones towards those who are weak
and so on and as agreed upon and as we
know when it comes to the attributes of
Allah subh
waala nothing is the like of Allah
subhah wa tala and he's the all hearer
the all Seer so as we mentioned the
principles before that we applied and we
apply in every name and attribute of
Allah subhana wa tala that we believe in
all of the names and attributes that are
mentioned in the Quran and in the
authentic Sunnah of the
Prophet without altering the meaning
without denying it without uh causing or
making any resemblance or similarities
because nothing is the like of Allah
subhah wa taala and one of which this
great attribute of Allah subhah tala
that comes from the name of Allah
subhana wa tala Alim and as a result of
that you would find oneself being
attached to the mercy of Allah meaning
that we are in the need of the mercy of
Allah subhah tala as we know that Allah
subhana wa tala is the most
just and if the human beings are treated
only with the justice of Allah subhana
wa ta'ala they all deserve to be
punished because they're all Sinners but
then we are in need of the mercy of
Allah subhana to forgive our sins
without the mercy of Allah subhana wa
tala everybody is perished so the heart
becomes attached to this the heart
becomes more humble that a person does
not really see his actions of obedience
to Allah subhana wa tala as anything why
because a sin a small sin can overtake
all of this but it's the mercy of Allah
subhana tala that we seek and therefore
it this proper belief in the mercy of
Allah subhana wa tala would carry the
person would cause the Believers to
believe when it when it comes to any
action and any means that gets the
person to be among those who Allah
subhana T bestows his mercy upon in
matters of goodness as Allah subhana T
says the good doers the mercy of Allah
subhana T is near to the the good doers
and the same thing with matters of to
give the Zak matters of with the signs
of Allah subhana tal as Allah subhana T
stated in the Quran that his Mercy
encompasses
everything it encompasses everything and
who are the ones that would receive

Believers so this is an an attribute of
Allah subhana tala and just to mention
here that shows how deviant they altered
some of the attributes of Allah because
they fall into this resemblance because
Mercy from a human perspective can be or
give a meanings of weakness you see a
cat in the middle of the night in a cold
day or a cold night and you feel
merciful towards it it's a weakness in
your heart so they would deny this or
they would alter it or they would say
this is refers to the rewards from Allah
subhana tala and this is all falsehood
this is a real attribute of Allah
subhana tala and as we said before as a
principle in the belief in the names and
attributes of Allah subhana wa tala that
all the names of Allah subhah wa
tala are beautiful and perfect names of
Allah subhana tala another
attribute which is mentioned in the
Quran as they call it in
Arabic this is the
and it refers to actions refers to verbs
that are mentioned in the Quran Al comes
from means that means he arrived or he
came and when Allah subhana tala said in
the Quran in for
example in the day of judgment your Lord
came and the angels the Angels they came
and Rose so that to establish the fact
that Allah subhana T would come in the
day of judgment to judge among his
people the creation of Allah subhana wa
tala so this is an attribute of Allah
subhana wa tala that fits the Majesty of
Allah nothing is the like of Allah not
the like of the Mi or the coming or the
arrival of the human beings because
nothing is the like of Allah so when you
recite a verse like this you keep it the
way it is you believe in it you know the
meaning of it and when it comes to how
Allah subhana T knows best and
everything fits the perfect exaltation
of Allah subhah wa tala the same thing
with as Allah
says which means do do do they wait till
the Angels come to them or your Lord
will come or some of the commands of
your Lord will come warning the
disbelievers so the fact here is that
the verse
says and your or your Lord will come so
the same thing so this is something that
we affirm in the way that fits the
Majesty of Allah subhana wa tala nothing
is the like of Allah subhana wa ta'ala
so these are two attributes and with the
attributes as we said the effect of that
in our matters of Iman and our matters
of actions is to fear Allah subhana wa
tala to fear the day of judgment when
Allah subhana wa tala will come to judge
among his people and uh the people would
uh would speak to Allah subhana tala and
they would be in front of Allah subhana
tala by Allah subhana wa tala judging
between them he's the most just subhah
wa taala there is no uh even the weight
of a mustard seed of injust Justice will
be forl or overlooked there's nothing
whatsoever except by the justice of
Allah or the mercy of Allah those who
will be punished they will be punished
by the justice of Allah and those who
will be rewarded that are rewarded by
the mercy of Allah subhana wa tala and
the Hadith of the Prophet that he said
there is none of you unless Allah
subhana will speak to
him there's no translator between him
and Allah subhah
tala this person this
individual he would look at his right
side he only sees what he sent forth
meaning his deeds from his
actions and he look into his left side
he only sees what he also brought forth
from his
actions and then he look in front of
himself
and he would see nothing but the h fire
in front of him then the prophet he
said Shield yourself from the fire even
if it's the you know half of a date so
that means when a person reads these
types of text and and he leave the
matter to Allah subhana tal when it
comes to how the most of the concern of
the Believers of how to save themselves
from the punishment of Allah and how to
attain the mercy of Allah subh also one
of these attributes of Allah subhana wa
tala is the attribute of Al and Al is
the might and the honor and the power
from Allah subhana wa taala and this is
something that Allah subhana wa ta'ala
wants us to also believe in but because
of the time we'll stop here inshallah we
continue with Al and what comes
afterwards in the next class but as you
see here these are examples for us to
believe in to establish and to believe
in them in the right way and not to deny
them not to alter them and then to have
the effect of them in the heart and our
speech and actions to follow the
commands of Allah subhana wa tala we ask
Allah subhana wa tala to make us among
those who are obedient to Allah and
steadfast upon the dean of Allah
