continuing with some of the attributes
of Allah subhana as part of
understanding how to believe in the
correct way when it comes to the Oneness
of Allah subhana tala in his names and
attributes in Islamic Creed level two
and when we talked about the names and
attributes of Allah and that the belief
is in the Oneness of Allah in it so all
of these attributes that we talked about
the Oneness of Allah that means no one
is the like of Allah subhana tal in
these attributes and if a human being
they are commanded
to have these attributes in their human
perspective if you're commanded to
forgive if you're commanded to be
generous and Allah subhana is the most
forgiver he's the most generous subhah
wa taala this is for you as a human
being in the human perspective but the
Forgiveness of Allah subhana tala it's
beyond what a person can comprehend
nothing is the like of Allah subhana wa
tala and the same thing with the
generosity the same thing with all of
the attributes of Allah subhana waa
one of these attributes of Allah subhana
wa taala is the attribute
of and that's why Allah subhana tala is
he's the one that pardons so is
pardoning and this is such a beautiful
attribute of Allah subhana wa tala that
means a person can deserve to be
punished and he did not even take the
means to uh be forgiven and he's a
believer of course because Allah forbade
the Hell Fire from the disbelievers from
those who associate partners with Allah
so someone died in the state of Al IM in
the state of Islam but he had sins and
he did not repent to Allah subhana T
from these sins and he died as a sinner
Allah subhana tala by his will he can
forgive and that's why he forgive
whoever he wills and those who are
punished they're punished and then
eventually they would enter the Jenna of
Allah subhana wa tala so the at
attribute of to Pardon someone even
though they deserve to be punished this
is one of the attributes of Allah
subhana tala and Allah T mentioned that
in the Quran in the verses that talks
about matters of purification and for
example the verse of
a the you know when there's no water you
make t Allah subhana T at the end of the
verse inah he
said indeed Allah subhana wa tala he is
the one that Pardons and he's the most
forgiver subhah wa tala and the
forgiveness is covering and concealing
the sins is to Pardon and to par to
Pardon when a person even does not
deserve and the more the person Elevate
himself into the levels of IM he doesn't
see himself as deserving anything it's
all by Allah subhah wa ta'ala and Allah
subhana wa tal is the one that Pardons
and as we know from the Dua of the
Prophet that
when she asked the prophet what Dua to
say if she
witnessed the prophet said to her to
say oh Allah you are you are one that
pardons you love to Pardon so pardon me
and Overlook my sins forgive my sins and
this is also what Allah subhana also
mentioned indeed Allah subhana tala is
the one that Pardons and he's the most
forgiver subhanahu wa tala and this is
repeated in the Quran in more than one
verse so establishing this meaning to be
upon the the the proper belief in this
and no one forces Allah subhana tala
he's the most merciful subhah wa ta'ala
because if Allah subhana wa tala will to
punish all of his creation no one is to
question Allah subhana tala what he
promised subhah tala and the promise of
Allah subhana wa tala is the promise of
the the truth that he would forgive the
Believers that he would pardon
them what's the effect of that in the
hearts and the actions of the Believers
is that makes the person shy from Allah
subhana wa tala how can a person
continuously commit sins when he knows
that Allah subhana tala pardons opposite
to what some people think some people
think if that's the case then a person
he can commit sins and seek help and
seek forgiveness from Allah subhana wa
tala no it's supposed to be the opposite
it if this is the attribute of Allah
subhana tala that means you need to
worship Allah subhana t with it that
means you're constantly repenting to
Allah seeking pardoning from Allah
subhana tala seeking forgiveness from
Allah subhah wa taala and always have
the good expectations and the hope for
the rewards from Allah and the pardoning
from Allah subhana wa tala and since as
the prophet said in theith which isi
that Allah subhana said
I'm with my slave the way he that the
way he thinks of me so let him think of
me whatever he will that means if you
think good about Allah subhana wa tala
if you think that Allah would forgive
you and you take the means for it and
you seek forgiveness from Allah Allah
subhana will forgive you and especially
at the moment of death when a person is
dying a person who should think good
about Allah subh tala of course
repenting to Allah subhana wa tala and
having good expectations that Allah
subhana wa tala for forgives and he's
the most forgiver subhana tala and this
is the promise of Allah subhana tala and
one of which is to make Dua to Allah
subhana wa tala that he forgives and he
pardons subhah wa
tala one of these attributes also is the
attribute of Al and the word Al is Joy
can can that be attributed to Allah
subhana tala yes why it's not from our
own selves this is from the text this is
from the from Allah subhana tala so we
apply the same rules we believe in it we
know the meaning of it nothing is the
like of Allah subhana tala how Allah
subhana tala knows best and there's this
beautiful Hadith where it shows with the
mercy of Allah and even though Allah
subhana T is in no need of his creation
and he is the almighty subhah wa ta'ala
he subhah wa tala has far or Joy when
his slave repents to him subhah wa tala
the like of which as the prophet he said
Allah subhana T is more joyful with
theba with the repentance of one of you
more than one of you when he has his
camo and this was explained in a longer
Hadith where the Prophet described the
Affairs of a man in the desert and he
has a camo and all of his provisions on
top of the camo and he wanted to rest
and he went to sleep and then when he
woke up he did not find his camo and it
went away with all of his provisions and
he looked and looked and he could not
find it that moment he realized that
he's certain that he's going to die so
when he gave up from all means he laid
down sleeping waiting for death and then
when he woke up he all of a sudden he
found his camel with all of the
provisions on it and imagine that state
of Joy he said that that person was so
joyful that he said
Allah oh Allah you are my slave and I'm
your lord
he made a mistake out of the intense Joy
so that level of joy that there's
nothing like it when it comes to the
human beings Allah subhana T is more
joyful when it comes to the repentance
of his slea so this is a beautiful
attribute of Allah subhana wa tala that
also brings the shyness from Allah this
is the case from the one that is in no
need of anyone of the creation of Allah
subhana tala so how can someone delay
his repentance delay only delaying the
repentance is a sinful
act and when a person repents to Allah
subhana wa tala he should repent to
Allah subhana T from two sins the sin
that he committed and the fact that he
delayed the repentance and one of the
ways that makes the person constantly
repent to Allah is the fact that Allah
subhana tala has this attribute of Al
when someone repents to Allah subhah wa
taala and to be eager and to be
steadfast to follow what pleases Allah
subhah wa taala so it kind of makes it
easy for the Believers to constantly
repent to Allah subhana tala and it
shows how evil the human beings are when
they're still alive when they still
breathe the air and eat the food and
they are in state of sin and they don't
repent to Allah what are they waiting
for don't they witness the mercy of
Allah the attributes of Allah subhana wa
tala that makes the person if he really
sees the effect of that if he really
sees the Unseen his heart will Melt from
the love of Allah subhana wa tala so a
person has to be in haste when it comes
to these acts of worship and repentance
to Allah subhana tala we ask Allah
subhana tala to make us among those who
have the proper belief and by the way
when we talk about the effect of that we
talk about those who have the proper
belief in it because these attributes
that we're mentioning here uh some of
the Deviant sects they deny it they
alter the meaning of it they say it
means reward means this or that but for
the the people of they believe in it the
way it is as Allah subhana T described
himself without alteration without
denying without drawing any similarities
whatsoever and when it comes to how
Allah subhana wa tala knows best we ask
Allah subhana wa tala to make a
steadfast upon the de of
Allah
