alhamdulillah part of the prophet
manners sallallahu alaihi wasallam and
moral conduct that he was a generous man
and this is not an
understatement his
generosity was Second To
None when he was first revealed to he
came back to Mother Khadijah may Allah
be pleased with her
terrified and he expressed his worries
fearing that he
might be insane because what he saw was
nothing like anyone could ever see so
mother Khadijah said to him comforting
him n be of good character by
allaha you are of a good character so
cheer up for Allah will never disgrace
you you uphold the ties of
kinship you speak
truthfully and you help the poor and
destitute and you serve the guests
generously and assist those who are
stricken by calamities this was our
prophet wasam and as the prophet
sallallah Al wasallam he was described
to be more generous than the
wind the wind when it comes it covers
the whole
ground you are certain of his generosity
because he had no
savings he would not go to bed with a
single Dirham or dinar in his possession
trusting Allah the most generous
he used to
keep the rations for his wives of one
year and though he would keep it for a
year in advance soon it would all
deplete it will all be
depleted because him and his wives would
give to guests that come until they have
nothing mother AA says
we used to see the Crescent after the
Crescent after the Crescent two
consecutive months and fire is not lit
in the houses of Muhammad Alat
wasam what did you feed on she says
water and dates that's it and whatever
people used to send him as
gifts and his own share of the
fifth of the booties of War he himself
would use it
and distributed it to the
poor
once after the battle of
H he saw a nomad looking at a huge
number of sheep filling up between two
mountains in the valley and the man was
mesmerized so the prophet looked at him
and he said you like this the mage yes
he's a nomad he's a nobody to most of us
the prophet says it is yours take the
whole
thing the man went back to his
tribe and saying oh people accept Islam
for I came from a man who does not fear
poverty what kind of a of generosity is
this the Prophet
saidat by Allah
if I had the weight of Mount uhud in
Gold by Allah I would not like three
nights to
pass and I would have anything of that
whole Mountain except little of it that
I would pay off my debts
with and
once says may Allah be pleased with him
we prayed with the prophet Alat and
immediately after Salam he stood up and
rushed out and then he came back so we
were frightened by the speed he left the
Masjid through and then he said he came
back and said to them calm down I
remembered that I had some gold ore
little amount of it in my house so I was
afraid that it would be kept with me so
I
immediately went and ordered it to be
distributed to the
poor this was how generous he
wasat once a woman
came and gave the prophet wasam a
cloak that was decent and nice and she
he said oh prophet of Allah I made this
for you so the prophet Sall wasallam was
in great need of it he put it on one of
the companions saw it and he said oh
prophet of Allah this is very beautiful
nice
fabric give it to me the prophet s
immediately took it off and gave it to
him his
companions reprimanded and scolded the
man don't you fear Allah
can't you see that the prophet is in
need of
itat yet you still ask him knowing that
he would never turn you down he never
turns anyone down so the man said I know
but because it was the prophets and he
wore
itat I wanted the blessings of the
Prophet sallallah alaihi wasallam so
that I would be wrapped when I die and
it would be my shrouds in my
grave jab abdah says the prophet Sall
wasallam would never ever turn people
down when they they ask him for
anything and we all know the story of
that Nomad who pulled the prophet Alam
from behind startling him and speaking
to him rudely by saying oh Muhammad give
me from the money you have it's not
yours it's Allah's money the prophet
smiled to him and ordered his companions
to give him a gift a some
money and also the prophet
Alat there are so many stories you you
you cannot just stop at one or two but
we don't have enough
time once jab abdah said I was on an
expedition with the prophet
Alam and my camel was the slowest and
the worst of all camels and I was at the
end the prophet came to me and he
whipped the camel with his Whip and
Subhan Allah the camel
transformed into being the fastest and
the strongest of the the whole Army and
I was at the
Forefront then the prophet said wasam
sell me your camel and actually he said
this to him before
whipping the camel so jabber said I'll
give it to you for free Prophet I don't
need this camel so the prophet said no
I'd like to buy it so I named my price
and the prophet alai ordered the
companions to pay me my price and when I
went to
Medina we when when we reached Medina
and my camel was the best and the
strongest the prophet called me so I
went to him with the camel thinking that
he wants his camel that he paid for so
the prophet paid me the money and he
said do you think I paid you and I
bargained with you to keep the camel no
it's yours keep it and keep the money as
well this who the prophet sallallah
alaihi wasallam was and he was also at
the same yeah time so bashful so shy
that the people would see the
reflection on his
face when they uh
uh when he hated something sallallahu
alaih wasallam once he invited the
companions to come to his house to eat
so they ate and they left some of the
companions three of them
liked the Gathering so they sat and the
prophet wasam was bashful and shy to
tell them you can leave you had food
until Allah revealed the verses of the
Quran oh you who believe do not enter
the houses of the prophet
except when you are invited and
permitted for a meal without awaiting
its uh radness but when you are invited
then eat or enter and when you have
eaten disperse without seeking to remain
for
conversation so
Allah told the Muslims to eat and leave
why because the
prophet was bashful and we do not want
to trouble him and he is also shy uh of
telling you to leave but Allah is not
shy of the truth this was the manners
and the characteristic of the Prophet
the character of the Prophet Alat his
attitude he was more bashful and shy
than a virgin in his her
Chambers if he hated something he would
have this expression on his face
everyone around him would know that it
was hated by him and he would not have
to say anything like when a virgin is
sought after and she's shy to express
but it can show on her
face
