Kind: captions Language: en [Music] AC [Music] alhamdulillah after his long life sallallahu alaih Al wasallam as any Journey has come to an end IB Abbas may Allah be pleased with him said that the prophet sallallah wasam stayed in Mecca for 13 years as a prophet and messenger and in Medina for 10 years and he died when he was 63 years of age death is not an easy ride and it's not even easy for the prophets and Messengers and there is a distinction between the pains that people suffer before their soul leaves and departs their bodies and the actual process of the Soul coming out so these pains that people face before death it's not something that people like or enjoy however no messenger or prophet of Allah would die until he's happy and satisfied to leave this life and join Allah the almighty AEL [Music] and the prophet sallallahu alaih wasallam just before dying gave hints to his companions about his death so in the ha in the farewell Hajj the prophet saidat oh people take your rituals from me learn from me I don't know maybe this is is my last Hajj and I would not perform Hajj after that and when he got sick 10 days to two weeks before the day he died in he ordered Abu Bakr to lead the prayer and the people followed Abu Bakr as their Imam all this time once and that is on a Monday he revealed the curtain and looked at them and his face was shining and radiating and the people praying behind Abu Bakr could not help but look and they were like joyful in their prayer and the prophet said to them with signing with his hands stay and remain as you until they finished the prayer and the prophet died at that day in a narration of Muslim the prophet smiled to them and his smiling was because he liked what he saw of them being disciplined and the proving of Abu Bakr to be their IM which was an indication that he is to succeed the prophet alai in Leading the People after his death and may Allah be pleased with her tell tells us that the prophet died with his head on her chest below her neck and on her chest and the last thing to mix with his saliva was her saliva because her brother ABD Rahman came in with a miswak and he liked it she could see it in her his eyes so she took it and softened it by Shing it a bit and then gave it to the prophet who also used it all of this also indicates that Abu Bakr would be succeeding the prophet in leading the people and would be the first kif and thata may Allah be pleased with her his daughter was the Beloved wife of the Prophet Alat wasam and Allah favored her that the prophet would die in her home and with his head on her chest AA says that the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam when he died or on his dying bed he had a pot of or a vessel of water and that he would dip his hand in the V vessel of and wipe his face and says oh Allah help me to Bear the agonies of death and this was the prophet of Allah which indicates that such pains and suffering before dying is not a punishment rather is is raising the status of the Prophet who said in an authentic Hadith the most sorely tested of the people are the PE the prophets and then the next best and then the next best so this is life the more you're strong the more you're stronger in religion in righteousness and closer to Allah the more calamities and tested you will face and the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam used to warn the Companions and his umah and he used to sayat may Allah curse the Jews and the Christians they took the graves of their prophets as places of worship the prophet is saying this to warn his followers his umah not to build mon monents over the graves of righteous people Messengers prophets not to build statues and portraits and fillet in their places of worship because this would cause them to worship it now this is nothing when it comes to the extraction of the soul from the body for a believer these pains and agonies are gone and the moment the angel of death takes the soul from the body it flows like the drop from a skin container it folds so softly and nicely that the soul comes out with ease ibab says the death of the Prophet was on the uh 12th of uh sallallahu alaih wasallam there's no difference of opinion among Scholars where was the prophet buried a huge misconception among the Muslims that the prophet s wasallam was buried in his Masjid and this is totally Bogus the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam like all Messengers they were buried whever wherever they died and the consensus of Muslims that the prophet died in the house OFA and the house of AA was adjacent to the Masjid outside of the Masjid only 80 years later when the umay khif decided to expand the mid of the Prophet Alam he included the house of the Prophet which has the grave all the scholars all the T opposed this and stood in his face he would not listen so the prophet's grave is in the house and not in his mid and this is what he said that no the prophet said no Prophet ever to die except to be buried in the place or in the spot that he died in and if it is recommended to visit the prophet's grave but without traveling meaning if I'm in jida if I'm in London if I'm in uh uh Cairo I do not travel to visit the M the the the grave of the Prophet this is prohibited I can travel for omra I can travel to pray in the Masjid of the Prophet Alam this is my primary intention and if I'm in the Masjid I may go and give Salam and visit the grave of the Prophet Alat there are so many huge Innovations some of the Muslims perform not knowing that they may exit the fold of Islam because of it so some of them they go to the prophet's grave and start to supplicate and make Dua to the prophet that Allah intercedes that he may intercede for them to Allah and this is shik to call the prophet some of the people refuse to pray in front of the Grave rather he would put the grave between him and the and also this is an innovation to do this intentionally some would even go and wipe over the chamber or take a piece of cloth and wipe it so that this would be something to seek the blessing of Allah and all of this is innovation and not permissible what about the inheritance of the Prophet Alam well as we mentioned before the prophet did not leave inheritance because he said we prophets of Allah do not leave wealth behind to be inherited so when he died and he left a small portion of an estate or a property the Abu Bakr did not give it to Fatima Allah be pleased with her and did not distribute it upon The Heirs of the Prophet Alam rather he gave it to the treasury of the Muslims and when fatim pleased with her complained he said you know how much I love you and the prophet Alam and you are my family but this is what the prophet saidat and he himself said we do not leave wealth as inheritance Whatever We Leave Behind is a charity and he took care of Fatima from his own wealth and from the treasury and he gave the provision for the wives of the Prophet Alam from the treasury of the Muslims as instructed by the prophet and he explained his position to Fatima and to Ali and they understood that he did only what the prophet of Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ordered him to do with this we conclude this semester the material of of the second semester of our Academy and I pray to Allah that we've learned something that would benefit us and that we've learned something that would get us closer to Allah and that we've learned something that would qualify us to be with our Prophet Muhammad Alam in Paradise on the day of judgment [Music] m for [Music]
