alh uh in the name of Allah the
compassion the merciful all praise is
due to Allah and May the peace and
blessings of Allah be upon his Prophet
Muhammad his family and his followers
all until the day of Resurrection I
welcome you to this new episode from the
series the third part of the series in
at zad Academy and we are going to deal
in the uh this part the series number
three with 10 suras in the part the 30th
part of the Glorious Quran
and these suras
include
alah alad
suram
andah so these are the 10 suras starting
with the first one today we are dealing
with
Surah where Allah subhah wa taala says
after
[Music]
the meaning of these verses is the
following when the sky has split lit
open and has responded to its Lord and
was obligated to do so and when the
Earth has been flattered out and has
cast out that within it and Rel
relinquished it and has responded to its
Lord and was obligated to do so oh
mankind indeed you are labor ing towards
your
Lord with
great exertion and will meet him then as
for the one or he who is given his
record in his right hand he will be
judged with an easy account and return
to his people in happiness but as for he
who is given his record behind his back
he will cry out for Destruction and
enter to burn in a Blazer or in a blaze
indeed he had once been among his people
in happiness indeed he had thought he
would never return to Allah but yes
indeed his Lord was ever of him
seeing this is these are the AY 1 to 15
ofah now we come to the meaning of these
Verses first uh what has been narrated
concerning this Surah it was narrated by
uh Abu ra who said I
prayed with
Abu and he recited when the sky has
split open
and prostrated during the recitation of
the Surah meaning inside the Salah I
asked him about that and he said I
prostrated behind abim and this is a
nickname for the prophet sallallah alai
wasam and I shall continue to prostrate
when reciting that Surah until I meet
him again meaning in the inshallah and
um
it was also narrated that
Abu said we prostrated with the
messenger of Allah during the recitation
of when the sky has split open meaning
this is the beginning of
Surah and recite in the name of your
lord who
created this is the beginning
ofah this was narrated by Muslim and the
first Hadith was narrated by both Al
bukari and Muslim which is expressed by
saying agreed upon M so the meaning of
these meaning that this when when
reciting this Surah it was was recited
during and then there's a s in it and
therefore um the prophet wasam pray made
sujud and the companions who prayed
behind him also uh made sujud as well uh
the commentary when the sky has split
open that is when the sky develops uh
cracks and begins to break up and
becomes
gateways and this is like
the the verse in which Allah subana tala
may he be exalted says and the heaven
will split open
uh for that day it is in
firm and mention the day when that when
the heaven was split
open uh with uh emerging
clouds and the angels will be sent down
in successive um descent this is
in so uh and has responded to its Lord
and was obligated to do so that is it
listen to its Lord's command to split
open um and Obey him and obeyed him
subh and it was obligated to obey
because the one who commanded it uh was
Allah the
Creator so that is uh the meaning of
meaning it was
obligated uh in verse uh
two and has responded uh this is the the
translation was obligated to do so the
word uh translated as responded which
comes from the root meaning
of and this verb also appears in the
Hadith in which the prophet sallallahu
alaihi wasallam says and Allah does not
listen to anything as
he as he listens to a
prophet meaning to listen to a prophet
reciting the Quran in a
uh melodious voice meaning in a
beautiful voice making his voice
beautiful this was agreed upon so uh
this is the word ad is coming from
listening uh and when the Earth has been
flattered
out it has been spread out and smoothed
out and Allah has flattered it out so
that he becomes he has become it has
become vast and able to accommodate um
the people of the standing meaning the
people who will be on the day of
judgment they will be standing that's
why it's
called the people who will be standing
before Allah on the day of Resurrection
despite their huge number numbers and
everything on it such as the mountains
and so on has been uh removed so
everything will be flattened out no
mountains no Rivers nothing up and down
it's all flattered and the people are
standing on that on that Earth uh before
their lord
Allah uh and has cast out uh that within
it and uh relinquished
it so it has cast out what it contains
of the Dead the buried treasures and
other things so everything was was was
taken up to the service and emptied
itself of
them and so that they will be nothing
left inside the Earth this is like the
verse in the Glorious Quran where Allah
says and the Earth
discharges uh its
burdens this is in
Surah um and has spread uh or responded
to its Lord
and was obligated to do so so like the
sky has been obligated to do so the
Earth as well has been obligated to do
so and this is indeed
um listen to its Lord and obeyed him
subhanahu wa taala now Allah is
addressing the human being by
saying translated here as oh mankind
well which is really uh an address to
everyone uh indeed you are laboring
toward your Lord with great exertion and
you will meet him subhanahu wa tala that
is you are striving hard in your journey
towards Allah towards Allah to your
world in Earnest um and facing hardship
you are striving in an effort to uh so
that will bring you to your Lord this is
like the verses in the in other verses
in the Glorious Quran where Allah says
and that to your lord is the
finality and the other Ayah inah indeed
to us is their
return and the word translated here as
laboring refers to a person is working
and striving for good or for bad until
that has an impact on him yes indeed
you'll be you'll be striving to do this
all your life to to reach the Hereafter
and then you'll be meeting Allah on the
day of judgment he will be judged with
an easy account so if a person does then
as for the one who is given his record
um in his right hand so this is a good
uh uh glad Tiding and and and and a good
thing to do that the one who is given
the record in his right hand uh he will
be given judged with with an easy
account he will face an easy uh account
he'll be shown his the record will be
shown to him and then he will be uh
pardoned for his sins for whatever bad
he did and in in relation to thisth and
Muslim narrated
that said the messenger of Allah s
wasallam said no one will be brought to
account but he will be
doomed uh
uh the meaning of which no one would be
would be uh held accountable
meaning meaning
I said doesn't Allah say subhah wa then
as far as for uh he who is given his
record in his right hand he will be uh
judged with an easy account that mean
that this person will be will be uh will
be of course uh having an an account and
the prophet wasam said that is not
bringing to account
rather that is like showing him his
record this is called showing the record
but whoever is given uh a thorough
Reckoning will be
doomed meaning that yes it's not it's
not really NE discussing and and um and
uh uh giving a thorough Reckoning of the
uh of the Deeds but rather this person
will be given only shown to him as to
show that yes you have done this but
then Allah has forgiven you and uh the
next Ayah and return to his people
meaning this person will return to his
people meaning to his family in Paradise
both and the humans you know his family
among the humans who will be joining him
in Paradise as long as
who is part of his or people in
happiness because he has saved uh he has
been saved from the punishment and
because he is happy with what he has
received of blessings and
honor of course we'll continue inshah in
the coming episode until we meet in the
coming episode I leave you with Allah's
care and
protection
