Kind: captions Language: en [Music] AC [Music] alhamd I start in the name of Allah the compassion the merciful all praise is due to Allah subhah wa ta'ala and May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon his Prophet Muhammad his family his companions and his followers all until the day of judgment I welcome you to this new episode of the series of T at zad Academy and we are dealing with the first a of Surah uh aluj uh where uh we covered from 1 to n and now what we need to learn from these verses from 1 to n is the following first starting Surah with the oath makes the listener curious to find out what comes next when you say so what is being sworn about what is being attested this is important to get the attention uh and the matter that will be mentioned uh afterwards so that is the first benefit second benefit is the three Divine attributes Allah says the exalted in might the praiseworthy to whom belongs the heavens and uh the Earth the Dominion of the heavens and the Earth so these are mentioned uh the three uh attributes are mentioned to emphasiz that um what the Believers uh res resented was not something that should be resented rather it should be something that they are they should be praised for they should be they Des they they U the Believers deserve to be praised because they believed in a great Lord Lord subhanahu wa ta'ala who has great attributes and these are the three attributes as we can see and then number three in the word and Allah over all things is witnessed this is a warning to those who dug the trench because Allah is watching and seeing and is witnessing what they did to the Believers and also at the same time it's a promise for those who believed that Allah is is is is is watching what they did so he will reward them so this is a warning and again uh a promise at the same time so that is what we can benefit from these uh these ayas now coming to the activities uh regarding these uh nine verses give the linguistic meaning of the word buruj translated here as great Stars well buruj as we said ah um the these are great Stars they are so prominent they're so high they're so uh uh visible clearly visible so that this this is this is the meaning of BJ and mention three types of witnesses and the evidence for them from the book of Allah we already mentioned that mentioned that about the prophet and we talked about the uh uh so that is the um and the angels also will be a witness so we can find that uh in in many verses in the Glorious Quran in the verses there is an indication of the extremely uh extreme tyranny of these criminals who burn the people of uh of the trench explain that from these verses well you can go back and and recite so they burned the fire so they were sitting and looking and probably enjoying the torture and witnessing that making sure that they are being tortured and being killed um in in that fire and then of course Allah is is is a witness over that and he will punish them according not only that so the only reason why they resented them is because they believed in Allah who is the praiseworthy who is the uh subhah wa taala the uh great in might uh that's that's how we can we can do and explain we can find some hadiths regarding what happened to the people of Al um and uh there are some nice stories that we can find out in the books of Hadith and regarding uh these this story uh number four during the era of weakness that the Muslim umah is going through what can the weak uh and oppressed learn from the story of the people of the trench well we know that even if they did not win in this life they will be winning in the Hereafter we can learn so many lessons that uh first you need to hold on to the Rope of Allah Asel to be on the right path and to do righteous Deeds to believe in Allah and not to care about because Allah is is watching is seeing what the disbelievers are doing even the tyrants and the people who are uh oppressing the Believers that the end will be for them even if they uh are uh martyred even if they are killed even if they are tortured they will find uh great results and attainment on the day of judgments they will be attaining success and they'll be raised in heaven because of what they did in this life so even if if people think that they they they they um they won by killing or torturing the disbelievers at the end will be for the Believers no doubt we can learn that from these a and you can go on and explain more about what you can contemplate on this now coming into the second part of the of the Surah Allah says uh so this is the second part ay 10-6 from Surah Al where Allah says and indeed those who have tortured the Believers the believing men and believing women and then have no have not repented will have the punishment of hell and they will have the punishment of the burning fire indeed those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have uh Garden Gardens beneath which rivers flow that is the great attainment indeed the Vengeance of your lord is severe indeed it is he who originates uh creation and repeats and he is the forgiving the loving the lord of the throne the Glorious uh he does whatever he Wills now the commentary indeed those who have uh tortured uh F the believing men and believing women that is they burn burnt the them with fire F so this is coming from the word FNA as we as translated as as fanu meaning tortured is similar usage occuring occurred occurs in the verse um it is the day that will be tormented meaning being punished being tortured and giving um uh or punishment on the day over over fire it was also said that um what is meant by this they prevented them from practicing their religion so they would recant it they they need them to turn away from their own uh uh that's that's a fitna is try to try to give them something like a trial to turn them away from their own uh Dean and religion and then have not repented now that is for this from this disbelief and from their actions so they did not repent uh persisting in in disbelief is worse than uh practicing uh or persecuting the believer Subhan Allah uh this disbelief is even worse so they did not repent and this is a hint to the Poli if they did not repent or believe they will be they will be saved if they do if they repent and believe they will be saved from the punishment of hell and Subhan Allah alassan albas imass one of the may Allah have mercy on his soul said look at this IM generosity they killed the close friends of Allah they killed his aah and he called them to repent uh to repentance and forgiveness meaning if they would repent and and even with with what they did Allah will forgive them subhanahu wa ta'ala even if they did with even if they did what they did they will have the punishment of hell so so obviously they will be they will be in Hellfire they will have the punishment of the burning blaze of course that is because of their disbelief first and in the Hereafter they will have further punishment so they will have like double punishment one one punishment for the disbelief and the other punishment The increased punishment is for the actions of what they did to the Believers this is like in the verse where Allah says Those Who disbelieved and averted others from uh the way of Allah we will increase them in punishment over their punishment so of course uh because of what they did they received this uh uh multiplied punishment or double punishment because of what they did uh is burning fire um is is one of the names like uh is a blaze is the burning fire um indeed those who have believed and done righteous Deeds that is those who affirmed the Oneness of Allah and uh uh this refers to the people who were burnt by uh who were burned by by those who uh dug the trench and to all others who affirmed the Oneness of Allah this is a general statement including these people who were burned in the in the trench uh Allah uh will uh uh inshallah they will have Gardens beneath which rivers flow that is what they will win they will uh uh in the Hereafter Allah will have Gardens through which uh flows rivers and you know the the rivers rivers of what water um uh wine milk and honey things to enjoy U by looking at the different colors and the different tastes and different kinds of of uh uh uh of something to drink and enjoy that is the great attainment of course that is this is the great achievement and victory in which they will attain uh because they sought by believing in Allah in this world indeed the Vengeance of your lord is severe now Allah is warning uh the disbelievers by saying is Vengeance which is seizing with violence and it is described as severe to indicate that the punishment will be multiplied as we said already multiplied for them because of their tyranny and the evildoing disbelieving in Allah as Allah says know that Allah is severe in punishment so uh Allah of course is severe in punishment indeed it is he who originates um creation and repeats he is the one who initiates the creation and he is of course able subhanahu wa ta'ala to repeat it again when he resurrected people on the day uh when he resurrects people on the day of judgment this is like in the verse in Allah where Allah says it is he who begins creation uh then he repeats it of course Allah starts a creation and is able or he will repeat it by his own will subhanahu wa taala and he is the forgiving now isan is to conceal the uh uh uh the sin and pardon uh uh the person for IT and overlooking that sin so it's not only just concealing it but rather forgiving pardoning the person for IT forgiveness is not only this but rather concealing it and forgiving the person and uh will not hold him accountable for that brings us to the end of today's episode until I see you with more of this Surah inshallah until I see you in the coming episode I leave you with Allah's care and [Music] protection for [Music]
