to be observed in many different
situations one of which is the adab of
Al bit or the house entering the house
leaving the house there are etiquet to
be observed and by knowing the way of
the
Prophet it's one of the favors of Allah
that you have a house if you have a
place to live then follow the way of the
Prophet the way that you enter the way
that you leave and that definitely
brings the love of Allah subhana T in
the hearts and the love of the messenger
sallallahu alaihi wasallam that you
follow him in every aspect of one's life
and not to be heedless about these
things and it's part of being grateful
to Allah subhana tal when it comes to
this favor of Allah that he bestowed
upon
us Allah subhana is the one that made
for you to have tranquility and and
goodness when you have homes and imagine
when someone doesn't have a place to
live and one of the things that the
prophet he would say before going to
sleep and we mentioned but not all of
the different things to be said and
that's why if you're able to recite all
of thear to be said before going to
sleep it's perfect mallah one of these
that the prophet before going to sleep
he would
say praise be to Allah subhana tala the
one that fed us the one that give us
drink the one that suffice for us the
one that give us a place to stay or
Refuge then he says and how many people
they don't have sufficiency they don't
have a place to live so this is a great
from Allah subhana that you have a home
that you're not homeless and to be
grateful to Allah by observing these
etiquet of course Allah will keep these
blessings for you so one of which is
when you enter uh the place that you
live even if you're in a hotel room for
a few days when you enter on a place in
general and on your place that you live
in is that you say
Salam as Allah
says when you enter houses you say Salam
and the prophet he said
to my
son if you entered on your family then
say this is bar blessings for you and
for your people for your
family even if there's no one in the
house because Allah subh says you make
Salam then a person some had mentioned
in some of the ntion you say like this
or Salam to be upon us and on the
righteous ones so to make Salam every
time you enter the house and of course
the Salam is for people to hear so if
there's someone in the house to hear the
Salam but if someone is asleep that's
why the person should not scream the
Salam but rather the prophet he would
say the Salam in such a way if someone
is asleep he does not wake up from the
level of your sound uh so this is
something to be observed so that people
would also observe this etiquette uh to
enter the house with the right foot is
it part of the Sunnah of the
Prophet there's no evidence in this
since again these etiquette we go by the
evidences if you want to enter with your
right hand don't assume that this is
from the Sunnah don't make this is part
of that you're seeking rewards from
Allah subhana tala from this because
there's no authenticity to it whatsoever
does it mean that you enter the house
with your left foot that doesn't mean
either just be at ease if you enter with
the right with the left in the general
rulings where the prophet he used to
always put forward the right thing of
things uh that's fine from in the
general sense that you always initiate
things with the right side but there's
no evidence with regards to entering the
house with your right with the right
foot uh the of Allah subhana when you
enter the home as the prophet he
said if a man enters his
house if you make VI of Allah and one of
which is to say that's the remembrance
of Allah and while and before he before
he eats thean would
Sayan would say for the
helpers that he has no is to stay here
tonight and no food no supper for you if
the person says bismah before he eats so
if he doesn't say BAH if he does not
make remembrance of Allah subhana T when
he enter the Shan would say to the shtin
with him you have a place to stay and if
he doesn't say it before he eats he says
you have some food also so you have food
and place to stay and you know what do
when they're in the house they're not
going to there being calm and nice and
spread all kinds of the goodness they're
sh they whisper evil they cause chaos in
the house as a result of people angry
with each other fighting with each other
why did he say that what did he mean by
that all is working and present in the
house so we we want to eliminate them
and push them out with the thck of Allah
and to bring instead the angels and one
of which is some people they choose and
they refuse to have angels in the house
by having dogs in the house the prophet
said
the Angels they do not enter a house
that has a dog or an image of an
individual or an animal or so and a the
Surah is the head statues uh pictures of
individuals or drawing drawing pictures
with heads being there the Angels do not
enter such places and you want the
angels to be present in your house and
uh having a dog for hunting or for
security outside that's fine but not to
enter the house and whoever owns a house
for other than these valid reasons as
the prophet he
said he would lose from his rewards two
two units of rewards every day so this
is an important thing to note um the
prophet Alat wasam whenever he would
enter the house he would clean his mouth
with
a and she said that the first thing that
the proph Prophet would do once he
entered the house is to use a as she was
asked so
say and then the first thing that he
would use the and it shows that the
prophet
said the best among you are the best to
his family and I'm the best to my family
so that they don't smell anything bad
from the one that just entered the
house also from the Sunnah is to remove
anything that is Haram or anything that
he sees in his house the prophet when he
one time entered came from traveling and
she had covered part of the wall of her
house with you know something that has
issues or images of of statues and
things like this so when the prophet he
saw that he removed it and he
said the most people that will receive
punishment in the day of judgment those
who imitate the creation of Allah so the
prophet removed it and he did not for
example say Let It Be it's okay he
removed it but then she
said we made it two one pillow or two
pillows so then it's okay because it
gets abused and thrown on the floor
sleeping on it things like this but not
to be used in a wall or hanging and
things like this and how uh
she followed the way the
prophet if a person finds crosses for
example in the house as the prophet Sall
alhi
wasallam she said that the
prophet he would never see
any or cross being men or being on on
the walls or any place unless he would
remove
it so the same thing sometimes with
clothings you find sometimes cloth or
clothing that has crosses on it you have
to remove it and this is again a sign of
associating partners with
Allah so it has to be on the shape of a
of a cross
specifically uh hanging uh images that
has no soul in it it's okay trees
Natural Things uh you know things like
that the ocean there's no no harm in
this but something that has a soul human
beings animals and so on this is not
permissible the Angels they do not enter
in such places from the Sunnah also of
the Prophet that he would pray when he
entered the house and before he leaves
and this is one of the things that many
people deserted from the sunah of the
prophet and there's a beautiful Hadith
which is a serious one Prophet
said before you leave your house
will protect you from the evil of going
out whatever evil is out there you will
be protected from
it and if you enter your house start
with praying to it will protect you from
the evil of what's inside sometimes a
person enters his house and Chaos
happens you know bad things happens to
to protect yourself pray to when you
enter also seeing the when you leave the
house and in
it moves away from you you say when you
leave I Rely Upon Allah subhana tala no
might and no power except by Allah oh
Allah I seek refuge in you that I become
deviated or I deviate someone or I slip
or I make someone slip whether it's
physical or non-physical or I Wrong
myself or make someone else wronged or
oppress anyone or act as in an an
ignorant way or someone would ignorantly
act against me so beautiful Dua
comprehensive Dua when you leave your
home there is just this world out there
you know and you never know what's good
and what's bad and what type of people
that you meet and so on so it's so
important that we uh teach ourselves
that we read these AAR till we memorize
it that we teach our children
we make on our children so again we are
protected by the will of Allah subhana
tala from all kinds of harm so this is
some of these etiquet and we ask Allah
subhana T to protect us all and to make
them learn it the best way to learn this
knowledge is not just to take an exam
and to pass it but rather to practice it
when you practice it then it stays the
knowledge stays with you if you don't
practice it it become forgotten
