Kind: captions Language: en [Music] AC [Music] in the name of Allah the compar to the merciful all praise is due to Allah and May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon his Prophet Muhammad his family and his followers all until the day of Resurrection I welcome you to this new episode of uh series of T at zad Academy and we are continuing with Surah alashia where Allah says in the second segment U after describing the people of Hellfire describing the people of paradise where he says subhah waala now the meaning of these verses is the following other faces that day will show pleasure with their effort they are are satisfied in an elevated garden wherein they will bear no unsuitable speech within it is a flowing spring within it are couches raised high and cups put in place and cushions lined up and carpets spread out so these are verses 8 to 16 of Surah alashia the commentary on that is this other faces that day will show pleasure of course this is the description of the people of paradise where and the people who are who did well uh on the day of Resurrection their faces will reflect pleasure and joy because of what Allah has given them subhanahu wa taal with their effort they are satisfied they are satisfied of what they sent ahead um and this reward of the righteous deeds and the kindness uh to the slaves of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala satisfied for they will have found the reward that their of their deeds H stored up and they will be grateful for the outcome and and the pleasure uh uh which would they which they attained and an elevated garden of course this means that they are in the highest of uh the house of which are lofty dwellings and its Center and in the top is Al above which uh is the Throne of Allah and its Chambers after Chambers built high beneath which rivers flow so what kind of a nice Bliss that they are having alhamdulillah wherein they will bear no unsuitable speech in Paradise no Idol talk falsehood foul speech insults or curses uh to be heard rather their speech will be uh Subhan Allah alhamdulillah they will be inspired to glorify Allah like Breathing by the grace of Allah subhanahu wa tala within it is a flowing spring this is a spring flowing um with different kinds of rivers as was explained in the Glorious Quran so wherein are uh rivers of water unaltered rivers of milk um uh the taste of which never change rivers of wine delicious to those who drink and rivers of purified honey this is in Surah Muhammad uh within it are couches raised high this is elevated and adorned with soft Furnishings uh they are uh highly they are so high in physical placement and are in seats of Honor so both physical and spiritual uh uplift liment for them by the grace of Allah and cups put in place uh uh as meaning they are prepared and placed before them to drink from uh and cushions lined up as as we mentioned earlier and they they have these are made cushions made of of silk and uh brocade uh and other kinds of fabric that Allah subh T knows and they will lined up next to one one to to another uh for people to sit and to recline on by uh the the favor of Allah asael and carpets spread around so the carpets are there uh the most beautiful finest types of of carpet they will be spread around on all sides in the place where they sit so look at these uh beautiful uh uh uh mercies and and and uh and Pleasures the the people of paradise will be having what we are learning from these ay is the following the delight and the pleasure of the Hereafter some which which are uh mentioned in these verses resemble uh worldly lights only in names as it was meaning that even there's wine there is milk there is uh like honey um all these things are only in taste fruits and uh and and the kinds of pleasures only the name but uh of course the description of that is beyond uh what a person can imagine as Allah says and no soul knows what has been uh hidden for them of delight as a reward for for what they used to do so uh that is the kind of pleasure they're having secondly in the book of Allah uh a description of paradise and what it contains of delights and good tidings only to fill us with uh longing for it and encouraging us to strive for it and strive for admittance uh to it that's how that's why the description of this was given us to move off move move us forward to make make us work and uh expect what to see if we keep uh uh on the right path um and this is the view of the earlier Generations as unlike what the innovators were saying something other than that because only you worship Allah because he uh actually is going to you going to um you know have this kind of love Pure Love without looking for his reward well all these mentioned only to Aspire to have these rewards and to avoid the punishment of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala now coming to the activities of um of this episode of this part is compare the situation of the people of hell and the situation of the people of paradise based on what is described in this Surah well uh look starting from the uh first Ayah and then the description of people on the day of judgment and then again so all you can see how the two groups are being described here either in in the shape and the way they look and the Bliss or the punishment um One versus the other also the kind of food that is available to both um of these two uh categories and then the Deeds uh uh what they're doing how they are enjoying what they do these were working so hard with the shackles and chains and and so on and hellfire while the other ones are enjoying reclining resting um talking to each other and so on and then uh the uh again uh the Comfort versus the hard uh work uh and and toiling uh of of these people in in in Hellfire so you can always see the contrast in the description fully in the Surah in these two categories in the starting with the description of the people of parad of Hellfire and then the description of people of the Hellfire secondly the idea of um elevation and loftiness is mentioned uh repeatedly in the description of the situation of the people in Paradise explain this idea whether it's stated clearly or implicitly in some verses yes of course because since they are so honored in this um in in in Paradise they are so honored physically and um uh spiritually so this is available to them uh as you said uh as it was said in the question either of really clearly we where where you can as Allah said subhah waala or they are sitting on on high seats for example or they are in Al or they are in which is the highest of part of the Jenna so all of this is is being mentioned in the Glorious Quran you can me add more to that as you go back to the books of T and find more of the uh interpretation of these verses um we will continue inshallah in the coming episode until then I leave you with Allah's care and protection [Music] for for [Music]
