I start in the name of Allah the
compassionate the merciful all praise is
due to Allah and May the peace and
blessings of Allah be upon his Prophet
Muhammad his family his companions and
all of his followers until the day of
Resurrection I welcome you to this new
episode of the series of T at zad
Academy and we are dealing with Surah Al
and coming towards the end after Allah
explained um the reality of the
reprehensible notion when the
disbelievers Misunderstood the nature of
trial and why a person may withhold or
give may Allah subhana may may withhold
or give and uh cause people to be poor
or Rich uh that is followed by a warning
from uh uh of the day of rittle where he
says subhanahu waala after
the meaning of these verses is the
following no when the Earth has been
leveled pound and crushed and your lord
has come and the angels rank upon Rank
and brought within
view that day is Hell that day man will
remember
but uh what good to him will be the
remembrance he will say oh I wish I had
sent ahead some good of my for my life
so uh on that day none will punish as
severely as his punishment and none will
bind as severely as his binding of the
evildoers to the righteous it will be
said oh reassured Soul return to your
lord well pleased and pleasing to him
and enter among my righteous servants
and enter my Paradise so that is the end
of the Surah and these are the verses
21- 30 uh of this great Surah now coming
to the
commentary
uh no when the Earth has been leveled
pound and crushed that is when your when
your love of wealth um and what you uh
compete for for the pleasure will not
last forever so the Earth will be
crushed will be leveled out and there
will be nothing on top of it everything
inside it will be brought up and out
rather ahead of you is a momentous day
that is the day of judgment the day of
great Terror in which the earth and the
mountains will be crushed time and again
and uh their features will be erased and
the Earth will be shaken mightly uh just
like Allah says
in when the Earth is shaken with its
final
earthquake so everything inside it will
be out and your lord has come and the
angels rank upon rank that is row after
row and Allah comes to judge between
people in a manner that is befitting his
majesty subhanahu wa ta'ala and the
noble Angels come all the inhabitants of
the Heavens rank after rank until they
surround the uh creation so that is that
is the meaning of of these verses and
brought within view that day is
Hell which the angels will drag with
chains as the prophet sallallahu alaihi
wasallam um said in the Hadith that was
narrated
byb uh where he said on that day hell
will be brought with
70,000 rains each rain held by 70,000
Angels who will be dragging
it that's so that is the how
the uh Hellfire will be will be brought
on that day that day man will
remember man will remember out of regret
and uh remorse what he did not what what
he did before uh in his previous life
and whether this was good or bad and his
shortcomings in the in this world but
what good to him will be the remembrance
what for the time for remembrance has
already passed he will
say I wish I had sent ahead some good
for my
life he will say that in regret for his
heedlessness about the commands of Allah
subhanahu wa taala and for the sins that
he committed before as for the posi of
his acts of obedience um if he fell
short in doing them oh I wish I had sent
ahead some good for my life that is for
the eternal life and um which is the
life of the Hereafter free of sufferings
and and
troubles so on that day none will punish
as severely as his punishment that is no
one will be more severe in punishment
than
Allah uh to those who disobeyed him the
word is is is translated here as um as
to as punish also it may be read
as so this refers to the person rather
than to Allah so you could you could
read it as
or meaning that is referring to Allah
or to the person and U and none will
bind as severely as his binding for the
evildoers
again the same thing meaning uh if it
refers is to Allah or you to the to the
person so both uh modes of recitation
are um are are read uh in the Glorious
Quran so in the midst of the terror har
punishments and bindings a call will go
out uh to the um uh pure believing soul
to whom it will be said oh reassured
Soul uh that found comfort in the
remembrance of Allah and his promise
than the Believers uh what he Allah said
and um that he believed in what allaha
said and that he uh he had certain faith
that Allah was his Lord was its Lord and
was patient accepting his decree and
obeying him subhanahu wa tala so that
is it will be said to her return to your
lord uh meaning be close to him and to
his reward subhanahu wa taala in in in
in Paradise well pleased and pleasing to
him so she is pleased and Allah will
make her also be pleased
so pleased and pleasing to Allah and
enter among
my um righteous
servants so uh be among my sincere and
devoted
slaves and this will be said to her
during the time of death and also dur
during the time of entering uh on the
day of of Resurrection where will be
entering Paradise so that uh is the
meaning of these particular verses what
we can learn from these verses is this
Allah Asel comes on the day of judgment
in a manner that befits his majesty
glory be to him and he will be coming
subhanahu wa taala as uh in the true
sense not um as
uh uh interpreted as saying his command
or his judgment no he will be coming in
a true sense himself subhanahu waala
because this is an attribute that is
attributed to
him the belief
of in this regard is that whatever there
is a a word uh that comes in the
Glorious Quran or in the the Hadith of
the messenger sallallahu alhi wasallam
we uh understand it in accordance to the
apparent meaning to
exactly meaning Allah will be coming in
the true sense not uh as would say uh
his commandment his judgment but rather
uh this is a distortion of the meaning
or denying it
with as we understand from the uh matter
of a or faith this is very important
secondly the intense haror um and
different stages of that day of
resurrection and what will happen uh on
this day as we heard from the Hadith
that the uh Hellfire will be brought
with 70,000 rains and each rain is held
by uh 70,000 Angels uh dragging it and
bringing it to people this is uh a
horrible uh and and and great uh
momentous event that's why the angels
and then the angels will be coming to
surround the creation on that the
creatures on that on that day so Allah
will be will be U judging and requiting
people for what they did whether good or
bad that's why a person should uh
prepare for that day and um and and and
be ready for that uh uh that great day
thirdly the one who was heedless and
careless will be filled with regret on
the day of Resurrection he will wish to
return but it was not possible so this
is the time in this life it is important
to remember now and to repent and to do
good deeds and to hasten to do righteous
deeds and keeping away from sin sins and
um uh prohibited actions in order to be
saved on the day of judgment now for the
activities uh first how will hell be
brought on the day of Resurrection
describe that supporting what you say
with evidence for of course we have
evidence from the Quran and evidence
from the Sunnah from the Quran as we
heard in
the so jam will be brought on that day
uh as as was described and then in the
Hadith also where on that day uh
Hellfire will be brought by 70 uh th000
with 70,000 rains each rain is held by
70,000 Angels who will be dragging it to
bring it uh and Allah will come and the
the angels will be rank after rank uh uh
coming and and surrounding the creatures
on that day for the preparation of re
quid for Al and Allah will come to do
the Judgment among people so that is how
the the answer is and and secondly think
about how the disbelievers will describe
will will will describe his life in the
Hereafter when he says oh I wish I had
sent ahead some good for my life what is
this life that we are living now well of
course uh the Real and True uh life is
is the here in the Hereafter this one is
short uh and this uh life is full of
troubles and and and and hardships
however um on the day of judgment the
true and good life is the life that is
free from any punishment any harm any um
any any Els and so on so that's that's
what he said
meaning the true life of mine and then
mention the difference different modes
of recitation in the following words and
explain how is um how it affects the
meaning
where already explained that and you do
know and understand the difference
between and you know the difference and
I think you know the answer this brings
us to the end of our um episode today
and we'll see you inshallah in the
