Kind: captions Language: en [Music] AC [Music] alhamd continuing with the subject of etiquette in Islamic education level three one of these etiquet that it's one of the rights of the Believers towards one another is to visit the sick and there are etiquet to be observed when we visit the sick people visit the sick and they do all kinds of things but what is the Sunnah way what is the proper way according to the way of the Prophet because this is part of the religion and one of the rights of a Muslim is to visit him when he is sick so uh when we look into to the and to the text or some of it that talks about this first of all it's the right of a Muslim as the prophet stated that in the authentic and visit the sick and the right of a Muslim upon a Muslim one of which is that you visit him when he's sick and the rewards of that are great one of which is in that the Muslim if he visits a Muslim when he's sick uh or when he visits him meaning in the he will be in The Gardens of Jenna and the midst of the Jenna till he returns back a caller from the heavens would call upon the one that visits a sick you are ped and your walk to the visit the sick is purified and you would receive a level in J as a result of this so this is such a recommended act and it might reach the state of being obligatory to some individuals if no one visit for example a Muslim and he's sick and they know about it about him of course so this is as some said it's if some people do it then the obligation is relieved from the rest so someone has to be doing this whether we know the person whether we don't know him so Allah subhana T made this as as as something for us to know how the the believer on the face of Earth is such of a great honor and Allah honor the believer that's why to uh you soften their hearts and to be at ease with them and things of that nature so one of these etiquet of course is that a person is doing it sincerely for the sake of Allah seeking the pleasure of Allah subhana tala alone does not seek any Wordly pleasure whatsoever and the same thing when it comes to visiting a non-muslim the prophet used to visit the non-muslims when they're sick and with the intention of giving da and to invite them to the dean of Allah as this young Jewish boy that used to serve the prophet he was sick and the prophet went to him and he was there next to him and he said Asim be a Muslim submit yourself to Allah subhana wa tala and the boy looked at his father and his father said to him be obedient toim and the prophet left by saying praise be to Allah the one that saved them from the h fight so uh this is again visiting someone that is not able to go to the Masjid and things like this so uh choosing the right time to visit the sick of course you don't just go any time to disturb the family or to disturb the SI the sick person maybe taking permission before going realizing the different cultures and different ways of of things uh so that you don't disturb those who are sick one of which is which is one of the sun is to make it a short visit so that you don't make it difficult for the deceased or the family the for the sick or the family of the sick person especially that if he needs to rest right so it is not just saying Salam and leaving but whatever is comfortable for the sick person sometimes a sick person he wants this Comfort by specific individuals to stay longer for example so as a way to make him at ease is to stay longer for him but the original ruling is is not to make it too long uh also to make him uh instead of uh at ease so make him pleased with the of Allah subhana tala say nice words that to give him the hope that he will be cured and that's what the prophet he said if you go to see someone that is sick or someone died say good do not say anything bad because the Angels they say am mean to what you say you say inshallah this is purifying inshallah you look mallah good inshallah Allah will give you full cure things like this don't say oh you look terrible you look like you're going to lose it you know things like this even if it's your friend and you're joking with him never to say words that are bad or apply something that is not good and uh when the prophet he went to and he asked her why you in such a stage and she said the fever and then she said may Allah does not bless it so he said do not curse or revile the fever do not say this fever this terrible do not say these types of things because it takes away the sins of the sons of Adam like the fire takes away the impurities of the iron so don't curse the the the disease that you're in you know do not curse it do not say anything bad but rather always hope for what is best to remind the sick person by Allah subhana wa taala to invite him to do righteous Good Deeds uh if he is a non-muslim invite him to the dean of Al Islam remind them of maybe the rulings of the Salah if he's not aware of it the Tara how to purify himself you know things like this uh so and even as the they say you visit the sick even if he is unconscious don't think that it's only for those who are awake and they would recognize you and they would thank you for it you know but also those who are unconscious Allah knows best what they're going through making R for them and things of that nature to make Dua to Allah with all matters of goodness for them as we heard to say nice words the prophet used to used to say that no harm on you purifying inshallah purifying you from sin and so on and the prophet he said whoever is able to benefit his brother he should do so in the contest in the context of making R you know giving Rya to someone reciting Quran unto him to sit by his head if it's easy as the prophet he would sit by the head of the sick person and he would say seven times seven times he would make this Dua Alat wasam I ask Allah subhana T the exalted one the lord of the great Throne to C to cure you so A beautiful Dua to say it seven times um you can put the hands of your hand on the on the body of uh the sick person when you're given the if it's feasible again and this is what the prophet would do that and he would wipe them with his right hand and he would say you know Dua to Allah subhana that Allah will cure them because Allah subhana T is the curer also if it's needed part of the advice and the if you see that they might be taken medicine that is Haram or they might go to Sorcerers and the like of this to warn them and as the prophet when he said there's no harm in doing r as long as it's not sh associating partners with Allah to remind them of the reward of patience when a person is patient with the sickness that they're going through remind them of some verses of the Quran or thei of the Prophet that anything that a Muslim get Afflicted with that he doesn't like even the thorn that hits him this is ways of expiating the sins uh also one of the eates not to uh again as we said not to talk bad about the of the disease you know and like saying uh you know some diseases nobody is cured when he got that disease for example don't say these types of things you know uh as he said do not talk to him about those who died as a result of that sickness for example right so and this is he said that to someone that he was talking in such a way that whoever gets this disease he's never cured from it you know things like this why would you make someone miserable like that but rather to give him the The Hope in Allah subhana tala that Allah will cure him even if nobody knows means of cure to his disease and there's also eates with the family of the deceased so to kind of teach them if you have knowledge of how to make how to do things worldly matters if you know someone that can be consulted with matters of of the disease that he's going through you know things like this so uh to be there for the people and to have the concern towards them and if they need something you know do if they need help if they need uh money if they need whatever they need so to to be there for them this is all from the concern that a person should have in their hearts towards others so this is some of the etiquet that we know from the text from the Quran and the sunah of the Prophet that we should be observing and the same thing for those who are sick there are certain etiquet for a person to observe when he himself is sick and we ask Allah to give strength to each and every one of us and to give cure to those who are sick continue in t with more of these e [Music] acad [Music]
