aldam I start in the name of Allah the
compassion of the merciful all praise is
due to Allah and May the peace and
blessings of Allah be upon his Prophet
Muhammad his family his companions and
all of his followers until the day of
Resurrection welcome to this new episode
of the series of Tere at zad Academy and
we are dealing with the last Surah in
this level which is
Surah where Allah is saying this
after
so these are 11 ayas in this Surah and
the meaning of these ayas uh is the
following say Allah says subhah wa tala
by the morning uh brightness and by the
night when it covers with
Darkness your lord has not forsaken you
oh Muhammad nor does he detest you and
the Hereafter is better for you than the
first life and your lord is going to
give you and you will be satisfied did
he not find you an orphan and gives you
refuge and he found you um lost and
guided you and he found you poor and
made you
self-sufficient so as for the orphan do
not oppress him as and as for the the
beggar do not repel him but as for the
favors of your lord Proclaim
it now coming to the commentary uh on
these verses U First the reason of
Revelation alari and Muslim narrated
that
jund said was slow in coming back to the
messenger of Allah s Al wasallam so the
Poli said Muhammad has been
forsaken
Muhammad then
Allah revealed the words by the morning
uh brightness and by the night when it
covers with Darkness your lord has not
forsaken you of Muhammad nor does he
detest you
now
uh meaning of this by the morning
brightness Allah is Warning by the
morning which is the early hours of the
day or According to some mu some
commentators said that this is uh refers
to the entire day and by the night when
it covers with darkness that is it
becomes still and covers everything
coming with its Darkness your lord has
not forsaken you of Muhammad nor does he
test detest you that is your lord has
not abandoned you oh Muhammad nor uh
neglected you and he does not hate you
the word Kal is translated as detest
refers to one who uh resents something
or someone a word from the same root
appears in the verse where Allah
says he said indeed I am towards your
deed uh of those who detest
it from among those who detest of those
who detest it uh so uh that is the uh
the meaning and the the Hereafter is
better for you than the first
life this is uh so not uh do not grieve
uh uh do not come uh for what you missed
out uh on in this world because the
Hereafter for you is better than uh than
the first life for what Allah prepared
for you and uh uh is you you would
expect uh a blessings in in the
Hereafter and your lord is going to give
you and you will be satisfied that is
Allah will give you more oh Muhammad um
in the Hereafter from what he has uh
Abundant Blessings until you will be
pleased and until he makes you be
pleased with your pleased with regard to
your umah
so meaning he will uh please you and
make you be pleased with regard to your
um then Allah begins to show the
blessings upon the Prophet sallallah
wasallam by saying did you not did he
not find you an orphan and gives you uh
and give you Refuge that is he gave you
a refuge to go on in a place to settle
after you became uh orphan and Allah
gave you the shelter the place the care
that you needed and then uh uh as
Allah he found you lost and guided you
meaning you had no knowledge because if
there is no Revelation how would you how
would you know as Allah subhah wa tala
says now uh in in in this regard Allah
says and thus we have revealed to you an
inspiration of our Command you did not
know what is the book or what is
Faith and he who found you poor and made
you
self-sufficient is translated as poor
comes from the word meaning poverty as
Allah says in the Glorious
Quran and if you fear
predition Allah will enrich you from his
Bounty subhanahu waala so that's that's
the word of now um so for uh so as for
the orphan do not oppress him Allah is
uh asking
uh not to despise the orphan and not not
to look down on him and not to run to
wrong the the orphan by uh depriving him
of his uh rights this is in response to
the verse did he not find you an orphan
and he uh uh and give an orphan and give
you a refuge so do the same thing for
the orphans who uh who actually uh were
are like you when you were when you were
an orphan and as for the beggar do not
repel him meaning uh do not help him if
he ask you for help uh speak to him
don't speak to him harshly uh rather
give him food and meet him uh meet his
needs but for the favor of your lord
Proclaim it
speak of these immense blessings that
have been granted to you from your lord
talk talking about them um and uh in
this world as well as in the herea Allah
uh uh reminded you of all of this these
blessings include what is mentioned in
the Surah and other blessings uh that he
gave to the prophet sallallah of course
the greatest of all the blessings beside
what Allah mentioned uh in the Surah is
the uh blessings of prophethood uh being
sent as a messenger and being guided
with the Glorious Quran of course having
the great Quran is is a is a great
blessing now what we can learn from
these verses in the verse as for the
beggar do not repel him um the
word is translated as beggar includes
both uh one who ask for help for money
and the one who ask for uh uh knowledge
both you one needs to be uh kind to them
to Gentle uh honor them show them
compassion um this will help them attain
um their goal and benef because they
going to benefit and they're going to
benefit people uh which is either in
money or if if if they ask for the money
they will help themselves and probably
help others and as
for those who see seek knowledge they
will benefit themselves and benefit
others as well in the verse did he not
find you an orphan and give you Refuge
the last
word
and Allah did not
say
or no he did not say he uh gave you
Refuge not meaning gave you is added in
the in the Ayah as you know in the
translation but actually he gave refuge
and he gave uh uh this
is he made
self-sufficient meaning that this is
general not only to the um uh first it
will uh be
uh part of the Surah the same structure
in regard to the structure in Ry so it
will match the uh endings of the other
verses in the Surah as we can see that
is one one reason and the other reason
is um this is uh not only for the
prophet Alat but the matter is more
Broad and will be for anyone anyone who
is seeking Refuge anyone who's seeking
because Allah pleased the prophet
sallallah alhi wasallam and pleased
because of him his umah is pleased he
pleased
uh the um through the
prophet so so by means of him he gave
Refuge to the Believers and supported
them and helped them and moreover heel
defended them so that is because of the
Prophet
s coming to the activities of this uh um
okay coming to the activities which is
the last part is uh the
following what was the reason for the
revelation of Surah remember we talked
about that and we said that uh the
reason is the or polytheists said
muhamad Muhammad was forsaken by Allah
when the the jiel was slow in coming
back to him for the Revelation and Allah
revealed Surah to show the blessings
upon the prophet Alat explain the
meaning of the following words
uh um nor does he detest you um
uh detest you meaning
he of course this is this is meaning to
hate you to to detest you meaning to
hate you H he did not uh hate you he did
not dislike you rather he he uh he loves
you and he
uh for his own wisdom uh made uh the
coming of Revelation a bit slow uh the
word s to cover with Darkness meaning
the night covers the uh the Earth or the
Sun with its own
Darkness meaning poor and we said the
word which is poverty and we uh cited
another Ayah for this purpose now you
may note that in the Quran Allah often
swears by various uh times what does
that mean of course Allah swore by Al
time and he swore by by
uhar by the Night by the day by the um
uh by the Morning by the evening uh all
of this uh is is to show that they are
important creatures
and of course there are also the places
where a person deposits Good Deeds or
bad deeds and them therefore one should
be careful what to deposit what to put
in these times in order to meet Allah
asael when he has good record of good
deeds and less of bad deeds in his own
record fourthly Allah Asel chose an
orphan to be his Prophet think about
that and try to work out the benefits uh
of the fact that the prophet s wasallam
grew up as an orphan well there are many
reasons first yes the the polytheist
would not think that he was supported by
a father or by he was taught by his own
father no one taught
himat except
Allah of course he was supported by
Allah he was under the care of other
people like his uncle and his
grandfather and so on not under the care
of his own direct father Abdullah and
also to show him that he can be kind to
the orphans and to the weak people and
to those disadvantaged people in the
society and so on so there are many
benefits for this so that brings us to
the end of this episode and to the end
of our own Series in the third level
until I see you inshallah in the coming
level and coming series I leave you with
Allah's care and
