alhamd Islamic Creed level three and
we're still talking about this important
subject which
is seeking the closeness to Allah
subhana tala taking the means in one's
Dua invocation calling upon Allah
subhana taala making Dua prayers to
Allah subhana wa tala with what's
permissible versus what's not
permissible and we talked about the
different types of what's permissible to
seek the closeness to Allah and the
means to ask Allah subhana wa tala from
his bounties and then what's not
permissible uh to make it uh clear for
us to understand with its different
categories a principle that we have to
follow at all times which is everything
in this subject is forbidden unless we
have an Evidence in the Quran and the
Sunnah of the Prophet that makes it
permissible not that everything is
permissible everybody can do whatever
they want then they would say give me a
Del that this is forbidden no you give a
Del you bringing evidence that this way
of a that you're doing this mean of in
your Dua or what you're saying seeking
the pleasure of Allah subhana wa tala is
permissible because everything is
forbidden we have been taught by the way
of the Prophet how to seek the closeness
to Allah subhana wa tala and especially
that we know that the
disbelievers they would also seek the
closeness to Allah by worshipping idols
and Allah subhana T condemned that so
this is very clear we have to have an
Evidence in the Quran and in the Sunnah
of the
Prophet that this way of a is
permissible that's why the
non-permissible type of
aul is of different categories one of
which is which is common among some
people those who would seek the
closeness to Allah subhana wa tala by
going to those who are dead in their
graves asking them to make Dua to Allah
subhah wa ta'ala that Allah would bestow
his his mercy upon the one that is
asking right so there's different ways
that people do things if a person goes
to the grave and he ask the one in the
grave oh so and so forgive my sins this
is Major s major kuf and it's very
obvious there's no doubt about this
calling the dead to forgive their sins
or whatever there is but there's another
one which is to some It's Tricky when
it's not they go to the grave and they
ask the dead person oh so and so make du
to Allah subhana wa tala for me or so
and so intercede for me by Allah subhah
wa tala that he forgive my sin and this
is something that is also as some of the
said major because you're asking from
the dead something that the dead has no
capacity to do whatsoever and it's
definitely one of the B Innovations in
the de that is no uh source for it
whatsoever in the dean of Allah subhana
wa tala and this is happens as a result
of the people having their hearts
attached so much to those who are
deceased and those who are in their
graves so to stay away from this
definitely this is something that is
important and this is what Allah subhana
wa tala
says those who that you invoke besides
Allah subhana tala they don't even own
the filament or that small piece of
thing in the inside of the date
if you call upon them they don't hear
your
Dua and if they listen to it they would
never accept it they would never respond
to
you and in the day of they would
disbelieve in your sh and associating
partners with Allah subhana
tala no one would inform you better than
Allah subhana tala the one that is well
acquainted with his creation so and the
verses of the Quran are so many in this
subject so to stay away from talking to
those who are dead going to their graves
and talking to them and asking from them
as if they're are life and if it was
something the prophet would allowed the
to do so the none of them whatsoever
would ever do something like this and
they would never and this is you know
the dean of Allah T is protected it's
perfect and not even one narration for
someone would do something like this and
then we are in need of people to come
after hundreds of years to invent
something in the religion of Al Islam
and to make it well established where
they build mass on top of the graves and
they allow themselves and others to go
to the graves of the righteous ones and
directly ask from them or ask them to
ask Allah subhana wa tala and to argue
that this is permissible where is that
in the life of the Prophet The
Companions the early generations of
Islam now as the Hadith of or the from
om that we talked about it before which
is a clear evidence whenever they would
have a drought they would make and seek
reain by the uncle of the prophet and
he's alive and he's present with them
and say he would
say Allah we used to that we seek
closeness to you and help from you by
our prophit and you would give us reain
and now we are seeking this closeness to
you and help from you oh Allah by the
uncle of our Prophet then give us
rain then they would receive the rain by
the will of Allah in that statement some
people say well he
said that means we used to make by our
Prophet that means it's permissible to
make by the prophet sallallahu alaih
wasallam what does that statement mean
om is standing by the m
few steps away from the body of the
prophet in his grave and the Earth
forbidden from consuming or taking any
of the bodies of the
prophets and the prophet is saying we
used to meaning what at the lifetime of
the
Prophet when he was among them
aliveat in this worthy life because the
prophet is having a more perfect life in
the
but not this worldly life that people
can go speak to him and he speak back to
them and they would claim that the
religion is changed because the prophet
decided things for them all of that is
lies and it's falsehood so he said we
used to I meaning meaning in the
lifetime of the
prophet and by the prophet making Dua
and this is what the prophet would do
for for seeking reain then he said that
now we're doing this by the uncle of the
prophet and as a result of that the abas
made Dua and Allah subhana accepted his
Dua so and if it was permissible they
would have done this and
the never done that whatsoever so as you
see here the matter is very clear and
they would make Dua to Allah subhana wa
tala and they would not face the room of
the Prophet
Alat and the grave of the Prophet Alat
wasam making they would face the making
Dua to Allah subhana tala and this is
what the the four IMS and the entire um
is upon and the same thing when a person
goes sayam to the prophet say and if he
wants to make Dua he faces the not to
face the grave of the
Prophet also another way of
non-permissible means oful by the status
of the
Prophet which is Innovations in the dean
there's no evidence to it whatsoever the
never asked Allah subhana by the by the
status of the Prophet even though they
are the ones that the most among all of
the umah that loveed the prophet
sallallahu alaihi wasallam and exalted
him and so on but they never said
something like this and therefore is Dua
is a matter of so it has to be done only
to Allah subhana tala unless there's a
Del and evidence that makes it
permissible but if if someone says oh
Allah by the the love that I have to the
prophet accept my Dua this is
permissible because you're making with
your own action which is the love of the
messenger sallallahu alaihi wasallam but
to ask Allah subhana tal by the being of
the Prophet there's no evidence of that
whatsoever so as we mentioned what's
permissible one's Dua one's actions
things like this and there's a Hadith
that is circulated among people which is
a lie and it's not authentic whatsoever
that they claim that the prophet
said if you ask Allah subhana ask him by
my status because my status to Allah
subhana T is or exalted this is it is
not even present in the books of the
Hadith whatsoever it's just a madeup lie
that people did uh so this is also
something that is not permissible or to
make to Allah subhana wa ta'ala by the
being of some of the creation of Allah
like swearing by Allah
tala or by your Prophet by your by Your
Righteous person or anything like this
or I ask you by your prophet and he
means by that is the prophet that you
would give me this or give me that or by
your or so and this is all not
permissible why there's no authenticity
there's no evidence to it whatsoever and
the Hadith that brings all of these
things as a principle as we said the
people of
they are far from any forms of
contradiction so if the prophet
said whoever do an act that is not upon
it our way it's rejected so when someone
says something like that in their Dua
where is that in the of the
Prophet where is that in the statements
of the
Companions and since I mentioned this
this is important to know when people
say there are differences of opinions in
matters of yes but not in these actions
it's not a valid difference of opinions
and when the the four imams for example
they have differences of opinions but
you would see that all of their opinions
in matters of at least they would have
something whether it's a verse Hadith
whether it's a statement from aah right
that means they follow the right
methodology of knowing what is right and
what is wrong even if some opinion is
weak or something stronger or whatever
but the methodology was correct the
Quran the sunah the the early
generations of Islam when it comes to
these matters you won't find an Evidence
in the Quran in the Sunnah the actions
of the sahab their understanding of the
text of the Quran and the Sunnah the
early generations of Islam you won't
find any evidence whatsoever plus it
leads to a sh which is a reality where
people start that way by saying these
types of things and then you would see
the reality that is happening in many
places on the Muslim world where they go
and they as directly from the deceased
oh so and so push the harm away from me
push the this from me bring this benefit
from me which is a major sh no one can
ever deny whatsoever and no one has any
right upon Allah subhana tala except
what Allah subhana tala made clearly by
his favor subhana wa tala and his Bounty
as mentioned in the Quran and in the
Sunnah of the Prophet so we ask Allah
subhana that the matter is clear and we
have to learn these principles these
foundations that we can carry to
understand many of the different things
that people might confuse others when it
comes to what's permissible what's not
permissible and the importance of that
because it's related to matters of
belief stop here inah then next time in
we'll talk about something else and we
ask Allah subhana to accept our
Deeds
