Scholars differed does Islam love
poverty
or does Islam promote
wealth and the scholars as I said had
different opinions who's best at the
sight of
Allah the poor who's patient or the rich
and wealthy who is thankful and
giving and the most authentic opinion
is those who
are better in righteousness and
piety and some Scholars said no the
wealthy person who gives to others and
benefit Muslims and Islam is better than
anyone else if they are in the same
level of righteousness and piety and the
ma majority of the 10 heavenbound were
rich
such as Abu
bakrd andb Zade may Allah be pleased
with them they were all rich
individuals and the prophet sallallah
alhi wasallam would
acknowledge their
wealth when they assist and help in
spreading
Islam the prophet
saidat there is no wealth that had ever
benefited me more than the wealth of Abu
Bakr
and the prophet sallallahu alaihi
wasallam used to visit
them and he used to encourage them to
give and guide them to the best means of
Charity Abu Talha may Allah be pleased
with them he's one was one of the
richest in
Medina he had
Farms Palms
trees and he had his most favorite
property a farm called
B which was close to the Masjid of the
Prophet
Alam and it had a well where the Prophet
used to enter and drink from that well
because it was a bit sweet unlike the
well the wells of Medina so when
Allah revealed the Ayah
you will not attain
Paradise until you spend from what you
love Abu said oh prophet of Allah this
Farm B is the most precious to my heart
and I put
it in Allah's charity and I give it to
you to put it and give it and distribute
it wherever you wish so so the prophet
says wow that is a winning transaction a
successful
transaction and I've heard what you said
and I see that you yourself divided
between your needy relatives so he did
so and distributed it upon his own
relatives and
cousins he used to visit the rich
s may Allah be pleased with him when he
fell sick he visited him and S said oh
prophet of Allah I have only daughters
so I'd like to give most of my wealth in
charity before I die so I want to give
2third of my wealth in charity the
prophet said
no so he said okay then I'll give half
of my wealth in charity the prophet said
no then s said then I'll give onethird
of my wealth in charity and the prophet
approved that and he told him that it is
best not to leave your heirs poor asking
people for money rather leave them
something to get by
with and those who came to him and
wanted to give all of their wealth in
charity he
would re restrain them from doing so and
tell them to keep something like in
theith of Malik when Allah revealed in
chapter n the verses of his
repentance after almost 50 days of
boycotting the Muslims for not going
with the prophet wasam in the expedition
of
tabuk when his repentance was revealed
he was so happy he said part of my
gratitude that I give everything I have
for the sake of Allah and the prophet
said to him no sallallahu alaihi
wasallam hold on to some of your wealth
and that is better for you and there is
no contradiction between this and the
Hadith of Abu Bakr who gave all of his
wealth three times in the life of the
Prophet Alam because it differs from one
person to the other Abu bakr's Iman
and Trust in Allah's provision and his
knowledge and hard work in Commerce and
trade allowed him to do
this task and the prophet to accept it
from
him and the prophet used to
encourage the rich to show Allah's Grace
upon them Malik may Allah be pleased
with him
he said I came to the prophet
once wearing torn out garments very
cheap so the prophet asked me do you
have wealth I said yes and the prophet
said what kind of wealth do you have I
said Allah gave me everything I have
camels I have cows I have sheep I have
slaves I have
horses so the guy is Rich so the prophet
said to him him if Allah gave you money
then let Allah see the traces of such
Grace and favors upon
you and the prophet Salli wasallam would
compliment and praise their acts of
Charity once he encouraged the people to
give in
charity and this was for the expedition
of
tabuk and it's it was times of
hardship so people gave little little
little
except he came and he poured a,
dinar in the lap of the Prophet Alam and
that was a huge amount of money and the
prophet
saidham
nothing would do in the future that
would harm him or affect him negatively
after what he had done
today and the prophet s wasallam used to
mix with the rich in their markets in
their
sus and he used to advise them and warn
them from Allah's
torment and he used to say to them oh
Merchants be aware that Merchants would
be resurrected on the day of judgment as
sinful people except those who fear
Allah and they are truthful when they
trade and he would
detect people trying to deceive others
and he would correct them and say no you
can't sell
something deceiving others like
this he who cheats us is not from Among
Us
and he used to make Dua for
Baraka when ABD got married and he told
him about the dowy he gave the prophet
said then offer a even by one sheep may
Allah put Baraka for you and he used to
ask those who are rich to be
easygoing the prophet says Alam Allah
the Almighty admitted a man to Paradise
why what did he do he was easygoing when
selling and when buying and when
collecting the
debts and he used to warn people from
being arrogant and this is a treat that
many many rich people have where he
saidat he who has an ant weight of
arrogance in his heart would not be
admitted to
J and he would instruct the rich to be
fair and just when they
give gifts to their children the Hadith
of bash may Allah be pleased with him
and with his father when Al Bashir gave
an a
gift and
his mother says no my son cannot accept
such a gift until you make the prophet
Alat a witness of it on it so Al Bashir
went bash went to the prophet and said
oh prophet of
Allah I gave to my son and I was a child
at at the time I was a boy he said I
give gave to my son a gift and his mom
wanted you to testify so the prophet
saidat bash do you have other children
than
him Bashir said
yes so the prophet said have you given
them all an equivalent
gift the man Bashir said no so the
prophet said Alam do not make me a
witness
I do not testify on
Injustice which means that it is an
injustice of course for the rich and for
the poor to favor one of their children
in a gift and deprive the others from it
