alhamdulillah the prophet
am gave precedence to calling people to
Islam over anything
else and this is the core
message of a messenger to call people to
worshiping Allah Asel alone and not to
associate others with
him and to implement his commands his
Shar it was reported that
once a man came to the
prophet in full
armor and he said oh prophet of Allah
should I fight with
you or should I accept
Islam so the man was not Muslim
yet so he was asking should I join your
forces and fight the enemy and then
accept
Islam or should I accept Islam first the
prophet
saidat accept Islam then fight with us
so the man did that and fought till he
was
martyred the prophet saidat he did so
little yet was rewarded a
lot it was said that this was
he was so often called to Islam and he
would reject and refuse till the day
of when the Battle of uh took place on
that day
he simply accepted Islam and went to
fight so they found him among the
wounded severely and badly so they said
to
him what had happened to you did you go
out to fight just to avenge your
people or what he said no I had an
interest in Islam so I accepted Islam
and this is what had happened to me and
he died as a martyr and the prophet when
he was told about him he said he is
among the people of paradise
therefore
it's completely wrong from
those who when encountering people
interested in Islam they postpone their
Islam they put hurdles in their face
they tell women no if you accept Islam
you have to divorce your husband and
leave your
family in order to make them certain of
what they want to do but not knowing
this would backfire and prevent a lot of
them of them from accepting Islam we
always tend to
forget we're not
judges we are
callers and preachers to
Islam the prophet Alat wasam used
to ask those who reverted to
Islam to convey the message to tell
their people about our beautiful
religion Malik may Allah be pleased with
him said that when
we went to the prophet and gave him the
Pledge of Allegiance we stayed in Medina
for 20 days or
so then we learned the Quran and we
learned the religion the prophet said to
usat who was so merciful with us he said
if you were to go back to your country
then teach them how to pray the prayers
in such times in the such format and
whenever the Salat is due one of you has
to call for the aan and one of you
should lead the
prayer now calling people to Islam is
not a mission
without any
difficulty there might be some
setbacks and these setbacks can be
really
severe for instance the prophet
Alat once sent his
companions and others with him
two two tribes that
pretended to be
Muslims and when they reached that area
and was
called between mecah and asan they
ambushed them betrayed them and 200 Idol
worshippers fought against
them one or
two surrendered the rest fought until
they were marted among them was may
Allah be pleased with him and there was
a bounty on his
head so Allah protected his
body by sending
bees and
hornets
and when it was Nightfall when it was
night there was rain and flood that took
his body and hid it and people could not
find it because they wanted to
decapitate it and bring the head as a
collect to collect the bounty on
it also the prophet Alat sent 70 of his
best
companions to Ned so that they would
call the tribes of it to Islam however
the tribes
leader betrayed them and killed them all
now these
setbacks did not prevent the
Muslims from giving
dawa it did not intimidate them and we
had never heard anyone blaming Islam for
their
death like people people nowadays tend
to do whenever someone does something
good and there happens to be a setback
to it they say ah this is all because of
Islam this is all of because of your
nikab this is all because you grew your
beard and you committed to to your
religion no these are tests from
Allah all what we have to do is to
comply and to fulfill our obligations
and to O obey Allah's commands whatever
happens this is part of the Divine
decree and our result of the tests would
be apparent on the day of judgment
inshallah the prophet Al also sent his
companions all over the place to teach
people he sent mu and Abu musar to
Yemen as teachers and preachers and
judges and the prophet sallallahu alaihi
wasallam those who were ignorant about
the rulings of Islam he would not
reprimand them he would not scold them
or be harsh to
them as in the case of that Nomad who
urinated in the Masjid imagine someone
coming and urinating in the middle of
the Masid
ignorance he spoke to him
softly when he kept on eating and eating
and
eating until he could differentiate
between a white thread and a black
thread that he had on his
pillow and not knowing that this white
thread and black thread refers to the
break of dawn in the midst of the
darkness of the night the prophet taught
him in a very gentle and kind way
also may Allah be pleased with him when
in the middle of the congregational
prayer someone
sneezed so he replied to him by
saying and when people looked at him and
at the time it was okay to look
around and they gave him a stern look he
complained and said
why are you guys looking at me like this
and he spoke loudly during the
Salah so they started clapping on their
thighs to shut
him off and and not to
speak after the prayer was over the
prophet summoned
himat he says by Allah there was no
better teacher than him he did not scold
me he was not rude with me he just
simply said to me this prayer is not
suitable for such Talk of the people and
it's only for praising Allah glorifying
Allah and reciting the
Quran those among them who
did well and offered a lot of good deeds
he would give them the Glad Tidings even
if these Good Deeds were pre Islam time
may Allah be pleased with
him before he became a Muslim at the
time of Jah he set free 100
slaves
and gave charity the worth of a 100
camels
load so he says I ask the prophet Alam
oh prophet of Allah these things that I
I used to do for the sake of
Allah before I became a Muslim I was an
idol worshiper but I did it for the sake
of Allah would I be rewarded for it and
the prophet said to
himam you have reverted to Islam and all
what was in the past is going to be
accredited to
you and this is evidence that when
a person accepts
Islam whatever Good Deeds he did before
he became Muslim would also be counted
for him and he used to
also praise and
compliment those who become Muslims for
what was in
them so that even if they were not
Muslim at the time
it would encourage them to become Muslim
like what the prophet
did
to when he said in you there are two
characteristics that Allah
loves perseverance and
tolerance and this shows you how just
and fair was the prophet unlike those
ignorant imbeciles today who go around
targeting famous Scholars and duat and
celebrities if we must say among the
Muslims who are doing a wonderful job
calling people to Islam teaching them
preaching them and the people love
them yes nobody's
perfect there has to be some
and shortcomings here and there but it's
not something essential it's not
something to deal with nevertheless
these people are like flies they only
detect what's bad and they totally
ignore the good work they had
done no wonder these people are on great
danger because they try to tarnish the
reputation of good preachers and
Scholars and students of knowledge only
to promote
their or their own Scholars and this is
not the methodology of the
Quran even the Quran Allah Asel praises
the people of the scripture for their
honesty and it says and among the people
of the scriptures is he who if you
entrust him with a great amount of
wealth he will return it to you so Allah
Asel praises
the Christians and the Jews for their
honesty and does not turn a blind eye to
it like these people
do and the prophet Alat wasam used
to also give
money to Those whom he
think that it would draw them closer to
Islam as in the Battle of thif when he
was once overlooking a valley filled
with sheep and next to him was a nomad
with his jaw
dropping and he said to him do you like
this and The Nomad said of course great
huge
wealth and the prophet said it is
yours so The Nomad took the money and
rushed to his people saying to them oh
people accept Islam for by Allah
Muhammad gives
the way of a person who does not fear
poverty his generosity is
unmatched and this shows you how the
prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam did
not have this dun in his heart it did
not control him rather he controlled it
and he utilizes he utilized it to call
people to Islam and for the sake of
Allah and Allah Knows
