now we spoke in the last class about
the nine issues that are prohibited in
the state
of so I've done one of those what should
I do you have to give
fidya now the fidya is an
experation however there are parts of
the prohibited acts
inam that has no
fidya so why is it prohibited because
it's Haram
but there is no experation for it such
as the issue
of marriage so proposing is prohibited
accepting the proposal of someone is
prohibited conducting the marriage of a
couple is prohibited but there's no
experation all what you have to do is
ask Allah Asel for forgiveness and
repent to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
number two
experation that is highly severe
and more more than anything else and
this is only for sexual
intercourse in the state of before the
first and we've stated in the last class
that if this happens this invalidates
your Hajj and you have to repent to
Allah you have to continue in your Hajj
as nothing had happened and complete it
though it's invalid you have to give the
experation which is to slaughter a sheep
to slaughter a camel not a sheep as
usual and to compensate this invalid
Hajj by performing another one that is
mandatory upon you now next year
this is for the man and it's applies as
well for the woman if she is allowing it
and doing it willingly but if she was
forced to do it by her husband then
there is nothing upon her number
three an
experation which is a
penalty or other
option and this is
for killing the game if you kill and
Hunt an animal then you either have to
give something exactly like it or
equivalent to it Allah says in the Quran
oh you who have believed do not kill
game while you are in the state
ofam and whoever of you kills it
intentionally the penalty is an
equivalent form of sacrificial animal to
what he has killed or to what uh uh be
killed as judged by two uh just and fair
men among you as an offering to Allah
delivered to the Kaa area or an
experation either this or an experation
the feeding of needy people or the
equivalent
of that in fasting this was mentioned
inah al- number four which applies to
the rest of the prohibition
ofam or acts that are done
inam and this experation is the choice
of one of three so either you feed six
poor needy Muslims in the area of the
Haram around the Kaa for each poor
Muslim you give half
a which is equivalent to approximately a
kilo and a quarter or a kilo and 100 uh
and 50 grams something within the
approximation of this some say a kilo
and a half
half or you fast three days
or you slaughter a sheep and give the
meat to the poor people around the Haram
area because this was also mentioned in
the Quran where
Allah says and if anyone of you is ill
or has an alignment of uh uh the scalp
an an illness that necessitate
necessitate that he shaves his head
while in the state of Haram the
experation is he must compensate by
either fasting giving charity or
offering a sacrifice and the
of may Allah be pleased with him when he
was brought to the prophet with flee or
bugs coming out of his hair and he's in
the state ofam and the prophet asked is
this yeah harming you and bothering you
and the man said of course yes a prophet
of Allah so the prophet ordered him to
shave
and to give three meaning half a for six
poor people and or fast three days or to
offer a
sacrifice sacrificial animal as an
experation to all of this now having
said that we have to be aware that if a
person does any of these prohibited
things while in the state ofam bu
mistake or out of
ignorance or because he is compelled and
forced to do it as in the case of under
gun point in this case the he does not
have to uh offer any experation and this
is Forgiven because
Allah he says and there is no blame upon
you for that in which you have heard but
only for what you your hearts uh
intended to do so anything that a person
is compelled to do and he does not want
to do it but he did it out of
forgetfulness out of mistake or someone
forced him to do it then there's no
problem in that if you are in need of
doing it it's so cold and you need to
wear something to keep warm or you will
fall sick in this case you can wear a
jacket or a shirt or or whatever um if
you need to shave your head if you need
to uh do something that is part of the
prohibited acts of there's no problem in
doing that but alhamdulillah
Allah said that you're not sinful for
doing it it's a necessity but you have
to give the
experation if you do it without any
need one of the nine prohibited acts
then you sinful and you have to give the
experation what are the things that are
permissible for a to do which most
people may be confused with because of
the prohibited acts inam you can wear
sandals you can wear Footwear you can
wear um slippers even if they have
stitches on them
when you wear your waist
wrapper usually we wear it and people
have different strategies some wear a
belt on top of it some may put a rope
some may tie it in a a different way you
can do either way you can put a belt and
tighten it
up you can put a um you can even wear it
in the form of a skirt so you can tie it
and sew it without any problem and wear
it like a skirt or have something um
that would make it stick and no problem
would doing that there's no problem in
wearing a wristatch wearing glasses
wearing Rings wearing air uh
airpods uh no problem in that some
people think that during the whole
process
of I must not take off
myam this is wrong you can take it off
whenever you want you can wash it if you
wish you can replace it you can shower
yourself twice or three times a day if
you need to and wash your head without
any problem in doing this because these
are all not part of the prohibited acts
in so don't prohibit what is not
prohibited likewise it's an issue of
dispute whether wearing whether washing
your hand with soap or washing your
teeth with toothpaste is fine or not
some Scholars say that this is part of
perfuming that is prohibited others say
that no when I wash my teeth with
toothpaste yes it has a smell but this
is not perfume when I wash my hands to
clean them or wash my body with soap I'm
not putting fragrance on it it's just
to remove the filth and the dirt so as
long as it's not considered to
be uh uh something uh perfumed nobody
goes to a wet
and before going to the wedding starts
to wash his hand with
soap and go no they put
perfume and likewise some people
prohibit people from
drinking tea that has mint peppermint or
menthal and again this is not Haram so
no this is perfume it's not perfume the
prophet prohibited wearing zaffron on
the clothes and wearing wor which is
perfume not eating something that smells
good because then I can't eat lemons or
uh uh oranges due to the cetric
fragrance in them and this is not
true
