Kind: captions Language: en [Music] Academy. Fore! [Music] Foreign! Foreign! [Music] Islamic creed level three and we're still talking about ala innovations in the religion which is something that is condemned an evil action for someone to innovate in matters of the dean to initiate something in the dean of Allah subhana ta that is not based on evidences on the Quran and the sunnah of the prophetatam. We talked about the definition of it and the danger of the bed and the innovations and some of the examples we'll talk about it inshallah today just some of the examples otherwise encyclopedia to compile in it the initiated might be sufficient uh because again people can do things and people would initiate things especially when there is ignorance prevails and there's no teaching of matters of the dean and the principles of the dean this is the way of el in which would save the people and make them initiate things in matters of belief in matters of and these innovations in the deen. Some of these examples and just again this is nothing but examples is when people would specify a certain act of worship for a specific time or in a specific place or certain numbers of or numbers ofar or a certain situation or a way that they would make this act of so so many different things. For example, as he mentioned that from these or these innovations of the dean that people would have certain ways of doing acts of like making in a together form collective all with the same voice together chanting together making seeking the pleasure of Allahh in doing so and this is something that the prophetat wasam didn't do the didn't do. So uh for someone to initiate a way of making the it's not just about the being part of the dean of Islam which is the of Allah but also the how to make the also has to be according to the way of the prophetatam also having the mid the day of the birthday of the prophetatam taking that as a celebration and the like of that which is again none of the early generations of Islam done that and it's something that was initi appreciated later. So u the same thing with regards to a specific in a specific time an act of worship at a specific time uh for example fasting in a specific day like the 15th of Shabban specifically and spending the night of that night of the 15th of Shabban with even though some of the early generations of Islam they used to give more attention to that day but there's no evidence whatsoever that the prophetat would do something special of in that particular night and fasting the 13th and the 14th and the 15th is a good thing. It's from the sunnah. Fasting as much as a person can from the month of Shabban is from the sunnah of the prophetat. But singling out that specific day with the night prayer and then they have special for example special dua to be done at that particular night. All of that is from the bida innovations in the dean and uh you know whether it's something specific to times where to make for example in the middle or the 15th of Rajab or the last of Ramadan they would specify certain or certain acts of worship that they would do in the last J of Ramadan or when people for example make in the night of J or they get together to make in the night of Ja and the like of this all of that innovations in the deen. So it's specific time, specific place, specific way that they would perform the all of that is in the innovations in matters of dean. And as we heard before that the prophet wasallam said every is deviation. There's no exception whatsoever. uh also when it comes to that specific place where people would choose a place to do certain acts of that it's not the way of the prophetat wasallam like for example those who would go to the cave of and the cave of and they would pray for example in two two in the first two in the second these things the prophetat was never done the companions the early generations of Islam you know and also there is narrations where it shows how the Sah they were very firm when it comes to those who would do something the prophetat wasam didn't do they would forbid it and they would forbade it with such a a severe way something that to stop anyone from adding to the religion it's not like the sinful acts a person would repent to Allah subhana wa ta'ala but the danger of the bid is that it changes the religion among the people so for example when Muawi He would make around thea and he was touching the all the pillars of thea as we know that we have the one that points to and the one that has the black stone and the one the many one the prophetat would touch it and then without saying anything and then the prophetat would kiss the black stone and he would say but as people know but Then Abbas he asked him why are you touching all of the aren all of the different corners of the Kaa and the prophetat wasam didn't used to do that so when he said to him nothing of the house of Allah should be deserted the replied by saying indeed you have in the messenger sallallahu alaihi wasallam the best example He said to him, "You are truthful about this." Uh some of the people they would even make salah by the graves of the righteous ones and this is where they do in the categories of worshiping Allah subhana tala by the grave of a righteous person or Allahh who's best also what they say or what they do. Uh some of these bida has to do with numbers where people for example would do it and would prescribe it to others. If you recite surah for example 40 days with the intention of relieving yourself from all kinds of distresses and things of that nature or prescribing for people to recite fat 100 times this numbers and and so on and this is as whether it's or others but just to specify numbers like this where did you come up with this if someone recites any verses of the Quran any suras of the Quran and he likes the surah and he recited every day. No problem, no harm. But to make it as if there is something special in this and a person would prescribe it to others. This is where it gets into the categories of bida innovations in the religion or to specify a specific verse to cure certain diseases you know and they would also prescribe for people. If you have the pain in this part of your body then you recite these verses how many numbers of times and things like this. If they tell them read Quran and use the Quran as means of that's fine. That's not bad. But the is when they specify when they say these suras these verses with a specific number of times a specific time of the day things of that nature. The same thing is when people would do innovations as we mentioned with a specific way. So for example, they would turn the lights off and they would get together especially with a specific person and they would recite things that is not Quran, not dua, things that they made up of that has no basis to it in the Quran and in the sunnah of the prophetat and some of the people those who do not understand the Arabic language you will be surprised of how sometimes they would introduce words of and associating partners with Allah. and they would say it and many of them would not even know what they're saying. So all of these things are just examples of different categories of things. So whether it's a specific time, a specific place, counting things or repeating things in a specific numbers of times or a way that they do things as we said because one of the one of the doubtful matters of these people of bida they say well the of Allah subhana ta is part of the dean. So we are allowed to make vik to Allahhana tala. The answer is yes. But how do you make vik? It has to be according also to the way of the prophetatam. The prophetat wasam did not jump up and down. He did not stand with the sahaba holding hands and moving themselves to the right or to the left. They did not make with with uh you know pronouns or you know things like words that is not from the Quran and the sunnah of the prophetatam or repeating the names and attributes of Allah subhana wa tala for thousands of times. The prophetat wasam never done something like this. So this is something definitely to be avoided and it's bidder and it's more beloved to el than sins because people they become away and away from Allah subhana wa tala because the root of it is what they're following other than the prophetatam what they have been commanded to follow to follow the messenger sallallahu alaihi wasallam stop here inshallah we continue with more subjects of innovations Dean [Music] Academy.
