Alhamdulillah.
Continuing with the Islamic creed level
four and uh we have the subject of a
takir and some of the things that would
prevents the person from being called or
labeled a disbeliever even if he did an
act of disbelief or uh he said something
of disbelief or matters of kuf certain
things that we talked about it briefly
last time which is basically one of
which is
when someone is ignorant about what he's
saying. He did not know that this is an
act of disbelief or something that would
take him outside the fold of Islam and
the principle in that is what Allahhana
ta says in the Quran.
We are not to punish till we send the
messenger
of Allah subhana wa ta'ala to show to
the people and that's by the mercy of
Allah subhana wa tala. So you know if
someone for example people go to the uh
doing certain acts of uh shik or or it
appears to be shik and they were told
that this is part of the dean of Islam
or things of that nature and they didn't
know. So they have to be taught first
and has to be established upon them
first. Uh so this is something that has
to be understood based on these
criterias uh and that when it comes to
calling them as individuals you know and
calling them and making that ruling upon
the individuals of them.
The second thing is and of course that's
different from one environment to the
other environment or a community or a a
place where people the knowledge is is
well spread and it's everybody knows
things versus some places where
ignorance prevails. The second also
criteria is making a mistake as we heard
that before. Uh someone that he intends
to do something but instead he do the
opposite of it. And Allahh had forgave
this um from the mistakes.
If they did something forgetfully or
they made a mistake, there's no harm
upon them. As the prophetat said,
that Allah subhana t relieve this um
from any mistakes or forgetful matters
or what they have been forced to do. So
uh and we heard the hadith of the man
with the with the camel. So a person as
we said someone wakes up from sleep all
of a sudden and he says something or
things of that nature then a person is
not responsible for their actions. uh
one of these things also which is
and is to um explain things uh in a
different way that in a wrong way that a
person would have the wrong
understanding of things. So they believe
in the evidence that it's there and they
believe in it that this is from Allah
subhana wa ta'ala but they misunderstand
it uh or they they don't understand it
or they misunderstand it. Right? So this
is of course part of the mistake you
know and Allahh says
there's no sin on you in what you made a
mistake in but rather what you are
intentionally did with your heart. So,
and this is also something that has
details to it and not every not every
explanation that twisting the verses and
the meanings of it to fit one's deviant
belief for example that's not a valid of
course but something that people might
fall into the categories of this this
can be benefit of the doubt that can be
given to them this is a general rule but
to be applied specific this is something
else uh also one of these uh things is
as we talked But it is is when someone
is forced. So someone is doing something
out of their not from their own will but
they are forced to do it. As Allahh
says,
those who disbelieve in Allahh after
their iman, after their faith, except
those who have been forced while their
hearts is in state of tranquility, firm
upon Alan, but rather the ones that
their hearts is opened up and at ease
with disbelief, they are the ones that
they received the punishment and the
anger of Allah.
And these verses were revealed when
when the when the disbelievers they took
him and they kept on torturing him till
and forcing him to curse or to say
something revile the prophetat.
So the only way for him to save his life
was to say something like this. So he
said it and he said it just to save
himself. So when he came to the
messenger sallallahu alaihi wasallam and
he was regretful and he told him so the
prophetat was asked him
how did you find your heart when you
were saying this he says
that means I found it well firm upon it
was just the sword was on his neck. So
the prophetat was he said
if they repeat their torture then you
repeat saying even these types of words
again. So why? Because your heart is
content with al but this is in a
situation a person fears for his life
not just that a person would fear for
people to make mockery at him or things
of that nature. So this is in the
situation of there is or a person is
coerced to do something and the subject
of is a huge subject even matters of and
rulings you know if a man is forced to
divorce his wife and things of that
nature. So these are things one of the
benefit of learning them is that a
person should not be in haste in calling
people disbelievers and things like this
because there are conditions to be met
and there are things to be denied from
the person. So these conditions that we
heard and these that means he's not
ignorant he's not said it by mistake and
so on. So uh and all of that is to avoid
the establishment of the h of the ruling
in this worldly life and before the end
and all times the rulings in in the real
essence of things is by Allah subhana t
Allahh knows best what's in the hearts
and if someone uh pretend to be one
thing and not the you know the reality
of what's in his heart and he deceives
the people Allahh knows what's in the
heart of that person. So when that
person returns to Allah subhana wa
ta'ala with whatever state that he's in,
Allahh is the most just just. So
therefore we're talking here about the
worldly aspects of the it's not that the
if the people call a person a
disbeliever then to Allahh he becomes a
disbeliever. Of course not because we
only judge with the outside appearance
of things with what appears to us and
it's not for us to make that judgment in
the sense of what we what we know in our
hearts because it's only about the
physical aspects and the speech of the
person and with that it has to be
fulfilling certain conditions and we
have to deny certain things as we heard
in this lecture. So we ask Allahh to
protect us from that and again it's the
way of the people of knowledge. is
something that the people of knowledge
this is that they have been entrusted
with and the people of authority and not
for the individuals or for any person to
rush into these types of things as we
talk about more things inshallah
sometimes people at ease when they talk
about the subject of the takir or so and
so he shed so much blood he's a
disbeliever this is a very dangerous
thing there's no uh you know necessity
that you know this if that happened that
means it becomes like this many people
they would say this word and that
they're at ease with it when it's a very
dangerous one. We continue inshall with
