Alhamdulillah.
I welcome you to this new episode of the
series of at level four
on at Zed Academy and we are starting
with surah.
This is about surah where the pro
allahel is saying after
he was
So these are the words uh or the ay
eight ay of
uh where allahel is swearing by um the
fig and the olive by the fig and the
olive of a teen was zetun. And he swore
by these two trees because uh their of
their many benefits and fruits and
because they are prevalent in the land
of uh
Jesus uh peace be upon him in a in the
land of Hashem the greater Syria um the
place where prophet isam
then the olive is mentioned frequently
in the glo Glorious Quran. However, the
teen or fig is only mentioned one time
in this surah in the glorious Quran and
by the mount and by the mount of si.
So that is the si the place where the
prophet Musat wasam received the
revelation.
And by this sanctuary
That is Mecca
the place where the prophet Muhammad
sallallahu alaihi wasallam received the
first revelation and then where his
message started. Allahel swears by these
two three holy places which he chose
um and from which he sent the best and
noblest of the prophets. We know that
there are five of the prophets who are
they are the uh the companions of the of
determination the five ones including
with the three
and Ibraimatam.
Now what is attested by this? The the
oath is about we have certainly created
man in the best of stature.
That is the best form and physique with
the best inclination and aims. That is
how allahel uh made his own limbs in
proportion. He formed him in the best
fashion and best way also of sound uh
nature and inclination. Ali subhanahu wa
ta'ala he made that that creation.
Then we return him to the lowest of the
low.
Now that is the lowest part of hellfire.
I mean this is the place of rebellious
sinners because despite despite the
immense uh blessing that allahel
bestowed upon them they were preoccupied
with idol pursuits and were uh content
to acquire the lowest or the worst
manners and attitudes. That's why a
person Allah made him uh in the best of
of of stature and he created him in the
best fashion and he gave him uh good
inclinations and aims to aspire to but
yet he might uh go back again to a lower
uh state of immorality of rejection of
Allah of ignorance. So that's why this
person is going to be in the lowest part
of hellfire.
Now the exception that's that's a
general rule but the except exception
there is except for those who believed
and do righteous except
so for they will have a reward
uninterrupted.
So uninterrupted
reward. Um as we said this is going to
be uh they will have an a a neverending
reward in in paradise.
So what you uh what uh yet cause you or
causes you to deny the recompense
meaning, "Oh man,
what
yet causes you to deny the recompense
that is uh what makes you disbelieve in
the day of judgment and the requ quit
and the reckoning for your deeds?"
You know, if if you know that you're
going to be held accountable, why do you
deny such a thing? Isn't uh Allah the
most judge of judges?
Meaning that Allahel is so just and so
fair uh that he uh he's he's he's the
best judge uh and the most just of all
judges. Of course, even if if good
judges judge in good judgment, but
allahel is is the just of all of of
them. He is the most just among uh the
judges. Subhanahu wa ta'ala because he
uh then uh his wisdom direct that he
should have humankind uh he he did not
let them wander in this life aimlessly
but actually gave them a message gave
them gave them mentalities to think with
um everything that was made for them to
pursue the good path of obedience and
worship. ship and not the opposite. So
that is the uh interpretation of these
verses from surah. Coming to what we
learn or the benefits of these verses.
First the creation of man reflects the
care of allahel because allahel cared
about the human beings about man and
mankind. Allahawel
cared for this for created uh creating
them in the best of fashion and even
despite their uh weakness and despite
the deviation that they could fall into
that is that indicates that it is very
uh very significant in the sight of
allahel
um and is of high
status. uh the focus here is not on
man's physique or shape or look but
rather it is on their spiritual
potential and characteristics. That's
why as as as in the
Allah looks into the hearts and what
what you carry in your inside your heart
not exactly how you look although Allah
made you in the best of fashion and the
best of uh stature. Now the surah
highlights a very important idea that
the Muslim should aspire to have sublime
morals and ethics. You want to raise
yourself to a high level of religious
commitment and not be low to uh your
your own whims and desires and uh to
follow the straight path that Allah made
so clear for everyone and uh not to to
to go down to the level of of animals or
even lower than than than animals
because Uh those who do do who do do so
are actually in in in in
contrast to what they they're supposed
to be uh of pure and good nature and
sound uh uh nature that allahel made
them um in. That's that's so important.
That's why you need to aspire to this
high state of uh of morality and and
good character. That's these this is
what we can learn from the surah. Now
inactivities complete the following. The
verse by the fig and the olive refers to
the land of who where that is asham or
greater Syria and Allah's uh prophet who
Jesus or Isaatam
the verse and by the mount of si refers
to the land of where where is si it's in
Egypt and Allah's prophetat wasam who it
is mus or Moses
The verse and by this sanctuary
refers to the land of where Arabia and
Allahel
Allah's prophet who Muhammad
wasam now second one some jokes involve
mockery of people's appearance what do
you think about that speak about what is
in the light of the verse in which Allah
says, "We
uh have certainly created man and the
best of stature.
Allah made him in the perfect uh
fashion, look, physique." Uh and yet
some people make mockery of
this and actually when they do so, they
make mockery of Allahawel because Allah
created them, you know. And I was
wondering one time I was in in al-
masjid al haram and
one one person who was very handicapped
with cut uh hands and legs and he was
crawling and asking begging that was a
long time ago it was begging in in al-
mas haram but then interestingly enough
my brother was sitting beside me and
then after salah he after he said look
This man actually is is actually
complaining about Allah to people.
Subhan Allah. Yes. Yeshu
instead of the opposite. See that is how
how we we make mockery of allahel. If we
make mockery of his own creation in
people like this person is uh is blind.
and he's um you know uh
cruel and so on and so forth. Now the
third one is uh if it is the case that
people have been created in the best of
stature what makes some of them follow
the path of good and others follow the
path of evil use other sources well you
have to go and search for that ideas but
you know normally you know that it's
Allah's decision subhanahu wa ta'ala
Allah has uh the knowledge that this
person will be of the people of paradise
this person will follow the guidance of
all of allahel. This person will
deviate. This person will not be
following the path and this person is
going to be uh ending in in in hellfire
because that's that's uh that's what
Allah made for him based on what Allah's
knowledge that this person will will
will choose. Of course, it's your
choice.
we um showed him the path either he is
thankful or grateful or ungrateful or
rejectful that is up to the person so
it's the person's choice um and after
Allah made it so clear so that's why
it's important for us to make sure that
we deliver the message crystal and clear
to all human beings so we show them the
path and then it's their own choice
either to follow or not to follow. This
brings us to the end of our lesson for
