In the name of Allah, the compassion of
the merciful. All praise is due to Allah
the Almighty. And may the peace and
blessings of Allah be upon his prophet
Muhammad, his family, his companions,
and his followers all until the day of
resurrection. and I welcome you to this
new lesson from the uh subject of taps
level four at Zad Academy. And we are
continuing today surah al where we are
going to start with ayah number six to
ayah number eight. This is the end of
the surah where Allah says after
for.
So these are the ayas where allahel says
the meaning of which indeed they who
disbelieved among the people of the
scripture and the polytheist will be in
the fire of hell abiding eternally
therein. Those are the worst of
creation. Indeed, they who have believed
and done righteous deeds, those are the
best of creation, the reward with their
Lord, will be gardens of perpetual
residence beneath which rivers flow,
wherein they will abide forever. Allah
being pleased with them and they be with
him and they with him that is for
whoever has feared his lord subhanahu wa
ta'ala. Now coming to the commentary.
Indeed they who disbelieved among the
people of the scripture and the
polytheists will be in the fire of hell
abiding eternally therein. Those are the
worst of create of creatures.
This is a true statement from Allahawel
about the fate of the disbelievers among
the people of the scriptures and the
politist who went against the book of
Allahawel.
This will be their fate on the day of
resurrection. Uh where they will be in
hellfire and they will be sur uh they'll
be surrounded um uh which will surround
them from all sides because they are the
worst of creatures.
Uh hell is calledam.
Jannam is so deep and dark. The word
jahannam comes from al j which is the
darkness of night. So it was called
jahannam because it was so deep and dark
and and and of course that is even an
added part of their punishment in hell
fire.
And it was said that uh it was an
Arabized word. So probably it's not
originally Arabic but it was Arabized
because it was uh used in the glorious
Quran and is known to the Arabs at the
time of revelation. Um indeed they who
have believed and done righteous deeds
those are the best of creatures. This is
the opposite. Normally the Quran brings
us um the status of the uh disbelievers
and the status of the believers or vice
versa. Here it started with the status
of disbelievers and their fate in
hellfire and now coming to the believers
and their fate in the hereafter which is
going to be in paradise. This is a
statement about the situation of the
righteous um who did righteous deeds. am
they are the best of creatures and of
course uh their reward with their lord
look at this privilege it's with their
own lord will be gardens of perpetual
residence
it was called because they are it's it's
it's a permanent abode for them beneath
which rivers flow
where they will abide forever.
That is their reward with the creator
and sovereign subhanahu wa ta'ala will
be uh gardens with eternal abode. The
worden translated as perpetual residence
refer to the abode of place where one
remains. They will stay there forever
and ever.
That's their their fate and their abode
in the hereafter. Allahel being pleased
with them.
The pleasure of allahel of course is
higher than the uh delights in paradise
that they will be granted and they with
him subhanahu wa ta'ala. So they will be
as well pleased with him subhanahu wa
ta'ala because he granted them uh this
immense beauty and bounty. Sorry. So all
of these things are there that is for
whoever uh has feared his lord. The
reward because you feared allahel and
you did not do bad deeds and you did
righteous deeds. The reward will be
pleasant and so good and you'll be calm
and having peace and tranquility and
enjoyment and this permanent uh uh abode
of pleasure uh and delights in paradise.
This is the reward uh because
this is the reward that will be given to
them because uh if you worship allahel
if you fear him you worship him and uh
of course uh you worship as you as you
as you see him. If you cannot see him he
sees you. So that is the level ofan. We
know that we have the level of Islam and
the level of Eman and the level ofan
which is the highest level in among uh
the believers.
Now what we learn from this uh surah or
these these three verses is this the
best of creatures are the best of
Allah's creation. They are uh of four
levels and this is mentioned in uh surah
where allahel.
So, and whoever obeys Allah and the
messenger,
those will be with uh the ones uh upon
whom Allah has bestowed favor of the
prophets,
the steadfast affirmers of truth, the
martyrs and the righteous and excellent
are those as companions.
So these the highest of these levels of
course is the level of prophethood. Then
comes the steadfast affirmers of truths
or
and of course among the top of is the
companion Abu Bakr
who was the best of this um after
prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi
wasallam. According to the uh the
scholarly consensus all the scholars
agreed um on this and next comes to them
the martyrs who die in the cause of
allahel and then the righteous who were
doing the righteous deeds. So these are
the four levels of the best the best of
creatures. The uh disbelievers among the
people of the scripture and the
polytheists deserve to be described as
the worst of creatures uh because they
diverted from the truth instead of of
the um people of the scripture uh
following their own messengers. They uh
actually they had a book from allahel
and they were supposed to be to follow
it and to be guided by it but they left
it behind and they worshiped uh with
allahel uh the cross the sun and so on.
This this is this this is the reason. As
for the polytheists uh that is because
they were following alify
meaning uh the religion of Ibraimatam
but they introduced into the worship uh
into this the worship of idols the
worship of of fire and so on. So they
diverted from that that truth. That's
why they are the worst of creatures.
Uh thirdly, the most preferred blessing
is for Allahawel
u
the uh
most perfect blessing for allahel is the
uh uh is to be pleased with uh his
believer believing slaves so that he
will bestow his pleasure upon them and
will never be angry with them again
after that that's why Allah is so
pleased with them. And of course, if
Allah is pleased with you, you will be
so pleased forever and and no u no ill
and no uh nothing that will be that that
would be terrible or bad ever in your
life if Allah is so pleased with you
subhanahu wa ta'ala. So uh as they see
the more and they will see allahel this
is an added an added pleasure uh as the
prophet said said you will see your lord
uh and you will not be uh
you know coming um and and and and be in
in crowd to see him.
You don't have to get together and and
and and go against each other in order
to look for for him. be so clear and so
u bright and you'll be able to see him
subhanahu wa ta'ala in in the um that's
that's an added blessing because allahel
was so pleased with them now uh coming
to the distinction between
and
being pleased or content with Allah is
divided into two categories being
content with Allah and being content
with what Allah decrees. So
content with allahel
meaning that uh you are content with him
as your lord controller and bestower of
blessings subhanahu wa ta'ala being
content with Allah's decrees
means being content with what he wills
and decrees. So you you you accept
You accepted him. That's that's enough
is sufficient for you. That's why
there's a difference between this and
that. Coming to the activities,
which level is higher in paradise? The
level of enjoying uh its bliss and
pleasures or uh the level of receiving
the pleasure of Allah? Well, I think
that's that's so clear. We know that the
level of the pleasure of Allahh is so
high it's it's better because if Allah
is pleased with you
everything will be will be a a great
thing for you'll have the bliss and the
permanent pleasures ever in your life.
Um so the pleasure of Allah is higher.
What what are the categories of being
pleased and content with Allah? We just
explained that
to be pleased with Allah's uh decrees
that is
to be pleased with uh allahel as lord
and controller and bestower of blessings
that is
some um uh media show uh or shows go to
extreme in praising the disbelievers and
speaking about uh its uh their
advancement and development. What is
your view concerning that is in in light
of the verse in which allahel says these
are the worst of creatures? Of course
the criterion here is not the material
advancement in life. A person could be
um you know rich could have so much of
this life but then what about the that
is the aim of your own creation that is
the ultimate abode uh either in hell or
in paradise for every human being based
on what they do in this life that's why
Allah says regarding uh the the people
of of of falsehood say
So they know only uh some apparent uh
features about this life but they don't
know about that's why they are uh why
should we praise them for this in fact
we should talk about their own values
about their own morals about their own
conduct about their their own
relationship with allahel that's what
matters and I hope that we have answered
answered all the questions for you and
you can go and dig and research for
