Kind: captions Language: en [Music] Academy. Fore! Foreign! Foreign! Continuing with the Islamic education level four and the diseases of the heart. It's a subject that we ought to really give it its importance and to work on our hearts to elevate and to purify our hearts from its diseases. One of these diseases is the love of this worldly life. And we'll explain what that means because this is something that we are born with. You know, no one can deny that he love the life that he lives in. So, but what is the sinful one? What is the what is the one that causes that disease in the heart? First of all, what is the reality of this life that we love so much? What is this life about? No one would inform us about this life better than Allah subhana t. Allahh says [Music] this life is nothing but play, entertainment, amusement, uh adorning oneself. Uh having this competition between one another, who's better, who's wealthier, who's healthier, having the competition of who have more of the wealth and the offsprings. And this is exactly like the rain when the Tyler and the people that have lands would like the the plants when it grows and then it becomes yellow and then it's destroyed. This is how life is the cycle that a person from the moment he was born then the youth and the strength and the worldly gain and and so on and then he returns to olden age if he lives and then he dies. So and in the hereafter is a severe punishment and a forgiveness from Allah. This life is nothing but an enjoyment that is temporary deceiving enjoyment. And the prophet was he said this worthy life is sweet and it's green. But Allahh will see you when you live on it. You know what you going to do with it. Therefore, we are in a test. Shield yourself from this worldly life that can take you away from the fulfilling the purpose of this life and shield yourself from the fna of women because the first fitna of was in women and many hadith of the prophetat that talks about the reality of this life. If this life was equal to the wing of a a mosquito or a bug to Allah subhana t, he would not give even a sip of water to the disbeliever. That means it's way less than that less than a wing in a in a fly. So why you're giving it more importance to it when Allah subhana t this is the level of this life and the is the prison of the believer and the ja of the disbeliever. Jenna in the sense that he follow his desires whatever he wants he gets and the real Jenna in the hereafter for the believers and the s is not a prison in a way that a person living a miserable life because the talks about the believers having goodly life but it's the fact that a person does not do anything whatever he desires he follows what Allahh wants from him and the many verses and hadith of the prophetat was that shows the reality of this life you have something fixed with numbers of years versus an everlasting life. What's the ratio between both? Is nothing. It's zero. This life is considered to be nothing compared to the hereafter. That's what the prophet said by Allah. This worthy life compared to the hereafter except is exactly when someone of you would put his hand in the water in the ocean in the sea. Then he takes his hand uh off how much water he gets in his hand. This is this worthy life compared to the hereafter. So put things in the right perspective according to what Allahhana tala wants from us. So when a person knows these texts these nus what happens? He won't have that love for this world that makes the person sinful and follow his desires. And that's why the the condemned love of this world which is not any love is the one that makes the person so much focused on this worldly life and nothing else. You know the the person has has he said something he said that people will be always their necks is all focused and rigid and stiff in seeking matters of the right and seeking matters of duny for the hereafter or seeking the rewards from Allahhana in the hereafter by actions of the duny person wants to have faith came among the people by being obedient to Allah or money as a result of to Allah subhana wa tala. So having the luxurious life in in excessiveness that makes a person overlook the hereafter. The love of this wealth, the love of status, the love of being honored and to have fame. Allahh says that indeed this worldly or the hereafter is Allahh made it for those who do not seek any high status in this earth in a way of being arrogantly turned against others and no corruption and the outcome the end is definitely for the believers and the worst destructive things to one's religion as the prophetat wasam he said is a person's stinginess and eagerness to attain money for example so he doesn't m it doesn't matter to him whether he gets it from haram or to attain status on the face of earth and this is what the prophetat he said that means two hungry wolves are set free to a flock of sheep how much destruction they would do to this flock of sheep. This is how the destruction of one's religion when he when a person is eager to have money. This is his most concern and the to attain status in this life. This is basically what a person would have uh you know as a result of that of the love of this worldly matters. So uh when it comes to the means to uh you know why would a person have means to love this dunya there are so many means one one of which is the zena is the adorement of this life and uh the adorement of this life and how Allah subhana t created it to be a test for the human beings and he warned us as we heard in the hadith it's beautiful it's sweet but Allahhana ta is seeing what you're doing with this worldly life. Are you going to follow the commands of Allah? He's the one that created this life and he told you this is halal, this is haram. Stay away from the haram. Do what's halal and don't have your heart attached to it because the hereafter, the everlasting life is what you're being called to seek rewards from Allah subhana wa t'ala in which is the hereafter. And this is one of the means why would a person love this worldly life so much is this adorement and its goodness that it's seen. the one's self is inclining towards it you know and the prophetat was he said no matter how old you get the heart of an old man it's young upon two things the love of this worldly life he wants to live longer and the love of having more wealth and the fact is that you would never be satisfied with worldly gain as the prophetat wasam he said If the son of Adam has a valley of gold, he would love to have another valley of gold. And none would fill the mouth and the satisfaction of the human beings except the dust. Meaning when he's put in the grave and Allahh accept the repentance from whoever he wills. Subhanah wa ta'ala. uh one of these things that shows the reason and the means why we have the love of this worldly life over the hereafter which is condemned is to make the and to choose the immediate one versus the one that is coming later. Allahh gave us the ability to choose what's the end of things if this if it's better than the present one. So as Allahh says, you choose this worthy life and the hereafter is better and it's forever. It's an everlasting one. So basically the corruption in one's immen, the corruption in one's religion, the corruption in one's reasoning that a person wants to do something in haste rather than waiting for the everlasting joy that Allah subhana ta prepared for the believers. So uh how to protect ourselves and how to really uh follow the way of the prophetat was that requires patience. That's why by knowing the corruption or the things that corruption happens as a result of the love of this worldly life. We'll talk about that inshall next time and we ask Allahh to protect us from all harm. [Music] to Foreign speech. Foreign speech. Foreign speech. [Music]
