Alhamdulillah.
Allah the Almighty has favored us to go
through three blessed semesters studying
studying Jewish prudence where we
learned issues related to Tahara
and the purity of water and the types of
impurities. We learned how to make
voodoo andul and how to uplift the
ritual impurities minor or major. We
learned the rulings on menstrual cycles
for women and postnatal bleeding. Then
we learned how to pray and all that is
related to prayers
regarding the conditions, the pillars,
the mandatory acts, the description.
We've learned how to pray and offer
voluntary prayers. We've learned what we
need to learn about zakat and the
categories of different things related
to zakat. We've learned things related
to fasting to Hajj and we've learned all
these things that are considered to be
categorized in
forms of worship.
Today we're about to learn in the fourth
semester in the final one in our uh uh
program inshallah we are about to learn
things related to transactions
things related to commerce
when to sell and when to buy how to do
this and unlike forms of worship which
has to be backed up by evidence from the
Quran or Sunnah otherwise it would be an
innovation. Transactions are quite the
opposite. Everything is halal until
proven otherwise.
So we will learn how to implement these
guidelines and we will learn as well
things that are haram for us to deal
with whether it's related to user
interest ribba or to ambiguity
or to transgression
and vul
and the likes.
We will also learn with the grace of
allahawel
things related to the of the family.
how to get engaged, how to get married,
God forbids, how to divorce, rules
related or pertaining to custody of the
children, rules related and pertaining
to uh allowance and uh
and the likes. Then we would speak about
things related to food,
what's permissible and what is not and
drinks. Then we would speak about oaths
and vows and a lot of different chapters
related to.
So this semester
would in my view
be quite important for us in this modern
world where we need to know about
dropshipping, about transactions, about
leasing, about late payment fees, about
custody of the children. especially
what's happening nowadays with the
rising in the rate of divorce because
people don't know how to be married and
how to know the rights of their spouses
and so forth. Therefore, I would highly
invite you and encourage you to do well
in your studies in this fourth and final
semester inshallah to purify your
intention to be sincere for the sake of
Allah not to please Tom Dick or Harry
rather to increase in your knowledge and
to get you closer to allahel and to be
grateful to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
that he selected you from all other
people
to engage in this program to learn to
reap this beautiful knowledge and to
benefit so that you would be able to get
closer to Allah and not that alone
rather to also invite others to get
closer to Allah on the knowledge or
based on the knowledge of Quran and
Sunnah. So I pray to allahel that he
grants me and you sincerity and that he
accepts all what we do and that he
cementss the iman in our hearts and
increase us in knowledge.
