Our prophetat wasam used to love many
things but among the people
he loved the most was Abu Bakr Sudik.
The second man in Islam and he's the
first man to enter paradise from the
followers of prophet Muhammadat wasallam
who are in the billions.
He's the first one to enter paradise
after the prophetat wasallam. He was the
most beloved. He was the companion of
the prophetatam
in Hijra. He was with the prophet in the
caveat.
He was the most generous of all the
companions.
Amnas
became Muslim
about 21 years
after well actually he he became Muslim
to be exact on the 8th year of Hijra or
the seventh year of Hijra which is
approximately 20 to 21 years after the
prophet became a mus a messenger and
after he migrated to Medina. When he
became Muslim, the prophet used to host
him, used to smile in his face to the
extent that he thought that whoa maybe I
have a special place in the heart of our
prophetatam.
So let me ask him this.
So the prophet came to him said, "Oh
prophet of Allah, who among the people
you love most?" And he was hoping that
he would say you.
So the prophet said,
Nowisha is loved mostly because this is
a
human feeling for a spouse. This is
worldly issue.
So uh Amro said no no no I did not mean
among the women. I meant among the men.
So the prophet saidatam
her father meaning Abu Bakr.
So I said okay maybe I'm not the first
let me see then who the prophet said
then Omar
whoa and then the prophet started naming
so many men and wasn't in any of them
and he learned from this that the
prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam loved
Abu Bakr the most and that he was so
kind that he treated people equally to
the extent that they felt that they were
the most closest and beloved to his
heart. The prophet sallallaihi wasallam
loved Abu Bakr so much that he favored
him
in the hadith of Abu al may Allah be
pleased with him. When the prophet
sallallahu alaihi wasallam was telling
the companions about Allah giving a one
of his slaves the choice between being
uh a glamour of this world or that which
is with Allahawel choose the glamour of
this world or what is with Allah and
that servant chose that was which was
with Allah.
So this is a normal reminder.
Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him,
wept and said, "May our fathers and
mother be sacrificed for you, oh prophet
of Allah." Abu said to himself, "Why is
this old man weeping when the prophet is
just giving a narration about someone
who was given the choice?"
Then they understood that Abu Bakr was
the most knowledgeable of them all
because the prophet sallallahu alaihi
wasallam was talking about himself and
that Allah is giving him a choice to
stay in this world and have the glamour
of it or that he would die and go and
meet Allah and be with Allah. When Abu
Bakr wept, the prophet said Alisam,
don't weep, oh Abu Bakr. No one
ever did greater favors to me than you.
And no one is more closer in his
friendship
than you. And if I were to take a khal
and the khal is a higher level of
friendship the highest of all. If I were
to take a khal I would have taken you
abakar but you are my brother in Islam
and we have the love of Islam. I am the
khal of Allah the almighty. Then the
prophet gave the command that all doors
connected to the masjid from people's
homes to be closed except the door of
Abu Bakr. He could have access from his
home to the masid directly.
And this among so many other narrations
shows us the level that Abu Bakr had to
the prophetam or in the prophet's heart
sallallahu alaihi wasallam.
The next in line is may Allah be pleased
with him. And the companions always used
to say that the prophet sallallahu
alaihi wasallam whenever he saw Abu Bakr
and Omar he would say these are my sight
and my hearing
to me they are like my eyes and ears
they're so close to me. And Abdullah
Shahik asked mother Aisha once and he
said whom among the prophets companions
was closest to him. Mother Aisha said
Abu Bakr.
And then he said then who?
Aisha said Omar.
Then she he said then who? She said
and then I asked then who? And she would
not commend.
And this shows us the stat the status of
Omar. May Allah be pleased with him. And
Iban Abbas says when Omar was placed on
his deathbed after being
stabbed
in an attempt to assassinate him which
has succeeded unfortunately Abulu al-
Majusi who came and stabbed him while he
was preparing for al prayer or praying
fudger leading fudger prayer in
congregation. So people used to come and
visit him and make dua for him and I was
among them.
That is Abbas. When I heard a man behind
me saying by Allah, I always thought
that Allah would place you with your
companions.
and he's addressing him whether he's on
his dying bed or after his death
actually
and the man elaborated and said because
so many times I used to hear the prophet
sallallahu alaihi wasallam say I along
with Abu Bakr and Omar we went along
with Abu Bakr and Omar we did alongside
with Abu Bakr and Omar so I was always
hoping that Allah would place you with
them? And I looked behind me and it was
Ali Abi.
And we all know as Muslims that the
prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam is
buried in his home, the home of Aisha
and next to him is Abu Bakr and next to
him is Omar.
And anyone who would discredit or talk
ill about Abu Bakr or Omar, he wouldn't
be a real Muslim. Muhammad, one of the
great says, "I don't believe that anyone
speaks ill about Abu Bakr
and Omar and he still claims to love the
prophetatam
and this is of course because Abu Bakr
and Omar were so beloved to our prophet
sallallahu alaihi wasallam. So if you
love him by default you have to love
them.
The third in line is
and Omar on his deathbed said this
clearly. I don't know of anyone more
deserving
that is to be my successor or the califf
among this group with whom the prophet
sallallahu alaihi wasallam was pleased
when he died more than
so these are the six out of the 10
heaven and bound remaining and he said I
don't know anyone who's more worthy of
being the califf my successor except the
one in these six people remaining behind
me and the prophet sallallahu alaihi
wasallam loved man to the extent that he
gave him his daughter in marriage
and when she died he gave him his second
daughter.
And this is something that does not go
quite well down the throat of the haters
of the sunnah, the the haters of the
great companions and the
those who claim to love Ali. May Allah
be pleased with him. And they praise him
because he was married to Fatima. The
daughter of the prophet wasallam used to
hate man, slander him and say all evil
things about him to the extent that in a
dialogue with one of the
one of them
he says that uh u or one of the even
that when he spoke to Arafili and he
cornered him he retaliated. ated by
saying that you guys love man the one
who killed the daughters of the
prophetam. So they're accusing
man of killing the daughters of the
prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam.
This scholar who was smart and witty
instead of defending Arman
he
said to this
okay let's hypothe hypothetically assume
that
killed
the daughter of the prophet
as you claim. Why on earth did the
prophetatam
gave his second daughter to him in
marriage? And this
was dumbfounded.
He he was he was speechless. And then he
said that you guys are followers of and
you're evil and you're this and you are
that. And this shows you that if you
truly love the prophetatam,
you have to have unconditional
love to those whom he loved. You have to
love Abu Bakr. You have to love Omar and
you have to love in this order.
