Alhamdulillah
Islamic education level four and
continuing with the diseases of the
heart and dealing with the sinful
desires and how to deal with it. And we
talked about it before of why there is
these sinful desires and what's the
reason why would a person fall into
these sinful desires that Allahh forbid
and Allahh is the most wise and the
importance of knowledge in this but then
how to deal with it how to deal with
one's self desires that we have that
that sometimes overpower the person and
adorns the evil and the haram and the
sins with all kinds of adornments.
And it makes it easy for the person
especially at a time when it made easy
for each and everyone to commit what
Allah subhana t forbid. So how a Muslim
deal with these types of things? There
are three principles, three ways that
many other actions can come under these
principles that helps the person
overpowers these tests and trials in
life. When it comes to the shah or the
desire, the first one is to say
that means I seek refuge in Allah. And
this is what Allah subhana wa ta'ala
mentioned in the Quran.
And this is what Ysef Alisam he said.
And Ysef Alisam he said that when the
wife of Alaz she tried to seduce him
trying to make him fall into this sin
and he had all the means to commit the
sin. He's a slave no one will question
him and the one that is asking him is
his owner and the doors are closed and
she's the one that is asking and she's
threatening him that if he doesn't that
he will be punished. I mean and he's a
stranger. He's not someone that would
really care about fame and things like
this. So all of the means are there for
him made easy for him to commit what
Allah subhana t forbid and he's young
and he has the desire and all is all of
that is there and Allahh protected him
and the thing that ysefam he said he
said
and more things also that are mentioned
that means he sought refuge in Allah. So
when someone has the belief in Allah,
the fear of Allah, this is what protects
the person and then the person would
seek refuge in Allah because the desire
when it's strong and is as if a person
again is going to drown in it and the
only one that would help is Allah
subhana tala. So sincerely turning to
Allah subhana wa ta'ala and that's why
one of the seven people that will be
under the shade of Allahh in the day of
judgment one of them
that a man that a woman try to call him
to commit a sin and she has status that
means she he fears the repercussions and
the consequences of the matter and she
has beauty and he would say indeed I
fear Allah subhana wa tala so this is
becomes the the way of life of the
believer I seek refuge in Allah I ask
help from Allah subhana tala I fear
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala also Another
uh principle that should be a way of
life to protect us is to warn ourselves
against the the betrayal of the eyes. If
it's correct to say betrayal of the eyes
yes the eyes betrays and Allah subhana
wa ta said
Allah subhana t knows the the betrayal
of the eyes and what the hearts conceal.
What is betrayal of the eyes? When a
person sneaks, steals a look that nobody
recognize that he's seeing something
while only Allah subhana t sees him that
he's seeing something and
he mentioned that he says a man will be
in someone's house and he's sitting with
them and there's a beautiful woman or
passes by and if they're not paying
attention he would sneak a look. He
would steal a look to her and if they're
paying attention he would look like he's
he's lowering his gaze and every time
they would not pay attention he would
sneak a look. So this is how stealing
something that Allah subhana wa ta'ala
forbid because looking at someone's wife
looking at someone's daughter right this
is something that is forbidden and
that's his wife this is his daughter so
this is someone that is stealing and
transgressing the limits
that Allahhana ta made for someone else
the desire that is exclusive the desire
that a person should seek from his wife
it's only for the husband not for anyone
else. So when someone sneaks something
especially again when you would find
those who would willingly you know they
they don't mind if anyone would look at
their wives and the women they're not
wearing hijab which is a misery that we
we ask Allahh to protect us from that.
So but the point here is not lowering
the gaze protecting these means of
stealing a look as Allahh says he knows
it they don't know it but Allah subhana
t knows and everything that Allahhana ta
you know he would ask us about
that you're hearing you're seeing your
heart you will be asked about this a
person is asked about one look that's
why we have to seek forgiveness from
Allah and ask Allah Hala for forgiveness
and to repent to Allah. So to be
watchful to that level before the matter
even gets worse. Another principle which
is very important is to push away the
thoughts early before it gets into
actions.
And this is how thean he works with the
human beings. So it starts with a whim
or with a thought that comes and that's
easy to push away. If a person doesn't
push it away, doesn't get get himself
busy with something, then what happens?
It develops it becomes stronger and
stronger till it takes the person to the
action
and that causes the heart to be instead
of a disease that we ask Allahh to
protect us and that's why it's a thought
then a conviction a will a determination
then the person would start taking the
means to do something that Allah subhana
ta forbid so it's very dangerous to let
one's thoughts keep on going once you
see once that is triggered right a
person has to divert it away get himself
busy go acquaint with someone go to the
masjid read Quran something that a
person would do so that he takes away
himself from these evil thoughts
and it's amazing that the beginning of
every goodness and the beginning of
every evil comes with a thought so if a
person pushes it away from the very
beginning then he has control over his
own
If he doesn't then his desires takes
over and has his knowledge about these
matters with the human beings. So to
believe and to have the knowledge that
Allahh is seeing us and seeing what our
thoughts are. He knows what's in our
hearts. So it's not just about the
physical action that a person do. So the
person then would make sure that he
control his thoughts and his desires so
that Allahhana tala sees what's pure
matters in his heart and to have the
shyness from Allah subhana wa ta'ala
because Allahh sees us and if a person
knows the power of Allah and he knows
that Allahh is seeing his heart
Allahhana tala is in control of one's
heart and the heart can be corrupted as
a result of one's evil actions then a
person has to then have that shyness
from Allah subhana wa tala So dealing
with our thoughts with our whims in such
a way especially before it gets
overpowered over us seeking refuge in
Allahh saying
replacing it with something good
something from el comes into your mind
replace it by something good talk about
or think about something matters of dean
something that would bring benefit dawa
to Allah subhana wa ta'ala things like
this you know think about the the
greatness of Allah subhana wa ta'ala the
matters of the knowledge when you're
busy see you know seeking knowledge
studying the dean of Allah subhana wa
ta'ala think of the hereafter and what's
going to happen after death and the
moment of death the remembrance death a
lot frequently is means of cure of these
types of things and even the worldly
matters you know you know seeking
provisions studying things of that
nature but not to leave oneself like
this you know to this emptiness and
that's Why you know how how to deal with
it is is knowledge that we need to learn
and we need to be able to be consistent
in it and seek help from Allah subhana
wa tala ask Allahh to protect us and
then if the disease is in the heart how
to cure our hearts from this disease
