four and the diseases of the heart and
we're talking about ashwa or the sinful
desires and how to deal with it and how
to cure it if it's already a disease in
the heart and we talked about the
different stages before how to cure that
disease from the heart
as mentioned before there's no disease
unless there's a cure cure for it and in
matters of the deen the cure of all of
the diseases are in the Quran and in the
sunnah of the prophetatam
and there's no disease in the heart
unless we would find the cure for it in
the in the revelation from Allah
one of these means of cure is to get
married especially when we talk about
the sinful desire with the shah that has
to do between men and women and the
prophet he said
or all young people, whoever among you
is able to get married. He has the he
has the ability to have relations, he
has the ability to financially support
his family, then let him get married.
Why? Because it's
would help the person to lower his gaze
and be able to protect and to guard his
private parts to be chased.
And this something that communities and
people need to get together to make the
matter easy and not to make it difficult
and shaitan has his ways for people to
delay marriage you know and knowing that
this is something for the sake of Allah
to protect one's religion for a person
to be obedient to Allah that's why it is
not for someone to live all of his youth
years when it's the urge is in its peak
to abstain from marriage when the
disbelievers are fulfilling their
desires.
person if he has the means then they
should get married and to seek help from
Allah subhana wa tala and if a person is
not able to then there is a a cure to
this the hadith of the prophetat was the
same one
if a person is not able to get married
then what should that person do fast
mean that that he fast every day he
keeps on fasting it's not an easy meth
better. But this is how to protect
oneself from the haram till Allah
subhana t make it easy for the person to
get married. And sometimes whenever the
the cure is a is a tough work to be done
a person then it helps him to take the
easier route. So for example if someone
says well I'm not able to get married
but he's not really diligently working
to get married. So if then the solution
for him is then fast every day. Then
when he start fasting every day know
this is very difficult. So what he's
going to do he's trying to get married
faster enough. So and the same thing for
his family for this is something that
needs to be established and for us to
change as Muslims. So fasting if a
person is able to do that then if he's
not sick or something like this then is
to fast continuously.
uh another means to uh cure this sinful
desire and this disease in the heart is
to make oneself physically busy and this
especially for the youth you know Allahh
gave them strength either they use it
for what is good or it's going to be
wasted in what's haram so you'd find
them for example spending most of the
night just doing nothing except of
hanging out with their friends doing
things that is not benefiting let along
to be haram
But making oneself tired working during
the day whether either a person is
studying and he's spending the effort to
study in the right way or a person is
working earning money halal money things
like this uh doing things that would
make the person always busy dawa to
Allah subhana wa tala being active with
one's community for the dawa of Allah
and the massid and so on helping the
poor you know getting the charity to to
reach the poor something for the person
to be busy with so that he's not left to
their own thoughts and their emptiness
in their life. One of the means of cure
also which is one of the most important
of all is dua to make dua to Allah
subhana wa ta'ala and to ask Allah
subhana wa ta'ala for help and this is
the means of cure of all diseases
whatsoever physical and non-physical
matters you know is to sincerely turn to
Allah subhana wa ta'ala and to fulfill
and to do the etiquets of the dua and to
push away the things that prevents the
person from having the dua accepted by
Allah subhana wa ta'ala and as Allah
subhana wa ta'ala says
If my if my slaves ask you about me, I'm
near to them. I respond to their dawa,
to their invocation, if they invoke
Allah subhana tala. So therefore, let
them respond and believe in Allah
subhana wa ta'ala and for that so that
they become upright and following what
Allahh wants from them.
And the prophetat
who used to direct even the
for whatever dua that is benefiting for
them and even with matters of
as the prophet wasallam a man asked him
to teach him a dua and he said say
oh Allah I seek refuge in you from the
evil of my own hearing
and the evil of what I see and so on
and from the evil of what I speak my
tongue
and from the evil of my heart the
thoughts and the like of that
and is the seinal fluid asking Allahh
from the evil of it so that it's not
used in something that is haram so the
the shah the desire when it becomes
overpowering the person and the
prophetat would ask Allah subhana ta and
seek refuge in Allah subhana tala by
saying
Allah I ask you guidance to be obedient
and to have the tawa of Allah subhana wa
tala to be chased and to be rich to
enrich oneself.
So these are uh ways to seek cure and as
we said sometimes we don't have the
means for example a person wants to get
married but he doesn't find the
righteous one you know if he turns to
Allah subhanaa tala with the dua and the
the sincerity that the reason why he
wants to get married is to save his
religion is to make himself steadfast
upon the dean of Allah subhana wa ta'ala
and if he's not able to then it's not a
reason for him to commit sins but rather
as the prophet wasallam He said to fast
and to believe in what the prophetat
wasallam said
and for the communities as we said for
people to get together to fix these
issues. We are seeing how the youth are
left to face these desires and nobody or
not much help is happening to them and
they are forced to go through many many
years of for example studies as some of
them would do before they would even
think to get married.
and the the of the daughters or they're
having daughters or so and they would
never you know allow their daughters to
get married to someone that is going to
school for example and the prophet he
said
if some of of them come to you if a
person come to you and you're pleased
with his religion and his manners get
him married otherwise it becomes
becomes fitna on the face of earth and
corruption on the face of earth we ask
Allah subhana tala to protect us from
the evil within our own selves. But
again, we're talking here about how to
cure ourselves from these sinful desires
and to seek help from Allahhana. We'll
