Kind: captions Language: en Academy was fordul. Our prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam used to love being consistent. And this is one of the things that most of us Muslims lack. We're so impulsive. We do things and we let go. And this happens in worldly issues which is okay. But to have this in religious issues is a problem. Someone loves a hobby, they pick it up, they love photography, they start to buy a camera, lenses, different types of filters and the likes and they're so obsessed by it. After some time they let go and all money goes down the drain. They focus on cycling. So they buy inexpensive bicycle and the helmets and the gear and they go on tours and then they leave that and go to fishing. All of this is fine because it's worldly issues and this is part of human nature. But when it comes to religious activities, it is not fine. Mother Aisha was asked what is the most beloved deeds to the prophetatam and she answered doing things consistently. So when you do things consistently, this means that you are doing it for the sake of Allah. But when you do it and you let go as if you are giving your back to Allahawel and when you are consistent then you are doing it for the sake of Allah anticipating the reward from Allah and not turning it off after some time. So the prophet's actions were always consistent and this is why whenever he picked something sallallahu alaihi wasallam and adjusted his routine he would never let go of it. Abdah may Allah be pleased with him and with his father. He said that the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam told me once, "Oh Abdullah, don't be like XY Z someone he knows." He used to pray night prayer and then he abandoned it. And this is why says if one is consistent with doing goodness, he should be always doing it and continuing to do it. So for example, if you are consistent on praying four before two after two after and two before al then you should be consistent on that. Never let go. If you pray night prayers, never let go because this is the way of the prophet. Wasam. He goes on to say likewise and more importantly if Allahawel gives you the energy the enthusiasm to seek knowledge to study to learn more about Islamith and the likes then you should not ever abandon this gift this favor and blessing so that you would not show any ingratitude to Allah after guiding you. You should be consistent. And of course, the most beloved thing to Allah is to do what Allah mandated upon you as per the servant would not do something more beloved to me than what I've mandated upon him. And after that comes the voluntary acts. So be careful because inconsistency is a characteristic of the hypocrites. They used to start to do good things and they would retreat as in the battle of when the prophet sallall alaihi wasallam went to the battle of there were 1,000 men with him and all of a sudden one-third turned their back and went back to Medina and left the prophetat wasam onethird almost 300 or more and how Would they justify their actions as mentioned in the Quran? If we knew how to fight and if we knew that there will be war and there will be a fight between us and them, we would have accompanied you. But we we know that there is not going to be any kind of war or any type of battle. Allah says they are closer to disbelief than they are to Islam or to iman on that day. So we have to put our level best in being consistent. The prophet loved sallallahu alaihi wasallam as per the hadith mentioned before he loved prayer. His delight was put in praying to Allahawel. his coolness of I and his love for the women because they carried the religion to the whole ummah. His wives narrated what the prophet did in his home. So they taught us, our mothers taught us how to deal with women and how to deal in privacy. And that's why he sallallahu alaihi wasallam married those who were widowed, those who were divorced, those who were abandoned by their disbelieving husbands. He did not marry for the sake of worldly lust and desires. Among all those whom he married only was young and a virgin and the rest were all either widowed or divorced or the likes. A man in his status, in his authority, in his power could have married a virgin, a young virgin every week. But this wasn't the prophetat wasallam. He wanted to serve the ummah and that's why he selected the wives he had. So prayer was his delight and whenever he was I wouldn't say depressed but whenever he was worried about something he would say to Bilal oh bilal comfort us with the prayer do so that we would join the prayer and feel the comfort that Allah would put in our hearts and place tranquility in our chests. And this prayer is something else. It is the only form of worship that was given to the prophet directly. So he received the revelation of the five daily prayers on the seventh heaven when he went on the miraculous night journey. It wasn't through gi Allah gave it to him directly and without any intermediates. So this prayer originally was 50 and then allahel reduced it to five but with the reward of 50. This prayer is the only thing in Islam where when you leave it out of laziness and you abandon it and you don't pray at all you become a kafir as per the hadith of Jabir may Allah be pleased with him the prophet saidatam between man and shik or kufur abandoning salat and the pledge between us and them is salat whoever abandons it has become a kafir and the verses of the Quran are so many and the hadiths are so many and all of this shows you that the prayer has a huge and great impact in our lives didn't the prophet say that a sign of hypocrisy is to become lazy from attending the prayers in the masjid Didn't he say that the heaviest prayers upon the hypocrites are the prayers of Isa? Had they known the reward in it, they would have come crawling to it. And all of these a hadith indicates that your identity and mine is identified and realized by observing the prayer in the masid five times a day till the day we die. for we will for
