My dear viewers, my dear students, welcome to the second session in the fourth level of the prophetic noble hadith. Last session which was the first hadith in the fourth level. We studied together the sound hadith which is collected by Imam Muslim and narrated by Tamimn the Palestinian companion. May Allah be pleased with him and his Abu and the hadith was that the messenger of Allah said religion is sincerity. They said he the to whom oh messenger of Allah he said to Allah to his book to his messengers and to the leaders of the Muslim ummah and their common folk. We have learned the literal and the linguistic meaning of the term and we shared with you references from the Quran particularly verse number 91 and 92 of surah tabba chapter number n today inshallah we're going to once again learn lessons from this hadith pertaining to showing sincerity to each and everyone who's listening. in the hadith to Allah, to his books, to his messenger, to the leaders of the Muslim ummah and to the common folk and how to demonstrate that beginning with sincerity towards Allah the almighty and that includes venerating him, fearing him, putting one's hope in him and loving him more than anyone else. The messenger of Allah sallall.aii alaihi wasallam has said in order to be a true believer you have to love Allah and his messenger sallallahu alaihi wasallam more than anything else and more than anyone else including your parents your spouse your children and even your own self and your positions sincerity of intention to him alone if you love Allah more than you love yourself if you venerate the almighty and you know that he's the one who created us and he's the one who watches us and he's the one who knows what is hidden in our chest. Then you should be sincere to the almighty alone declaring him to be far above all shortcomings and defects. And this concept is known as the Quran is full of commandment of is to declare the almighty Allah to be far above all shortcomings and defects because he's a creator. He's not being created and he does not resemble in of his career. And that would lead us to understand that we should affirm his beautiful names and attributes which we have learned whether from the Quran or the sound sunnah to the almighty Allah in an appropriate way that suits him. also affirming that he is one and unique in his deeds and the actions of his creation should be devoted to him alone. So the Quran says there is nothing like him and he is the all hearer the all seer. So we must understand that nothing resembles the almighty Allah and we must believe in that sincerely also by adhering to his laws commandment and by abstaining from his prohibitions. What is the purpose of learning about Allah and believing that the almighty Allah is the creator and he is above the creation and affirming his uh sublime names and attributes to him alone is by the end to love him and fear him meanwhile to keep balance between love and fear to recognize that no one can reward you as much as the almighty Allah. So we sincerely pay all our actions and sayings to him seeking the pleasure of the almighty Allah and the word to be anticipated only from him. Loving for his sake and hating for his sake. The messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam said in the hadith the highest level of iman is when you love someone you love him for Allah's sake. And if you abhore or dislike something or someone, you only do it for Allah's sake. What about sincerity towards the book of Allah, the glorious Quran? How can I be sincere towards the Quran? By believing that every word, every letter of it is simply from the almighty Allah. It is his word. He said the Quran. He didn't simply create it. Okay? Allah described the Quran as the word of Allah not the creation of Allah and it makes a huge difference. Okay. So it was brought down to Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam through the noble angel Gabrielisam. The almighty recited the Quran to Gabriel. Gi recited Quran to the messenger of Allah. So whenever we recite Quran the same way that the messenger of Allah used to recite or whoever obtains an isaza he's reading the word of Allah same like the prophet like Jirel like the same way the almighty Allah revealed it to Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam venerating the Quran and reciting it as it should be recited. Some people let days and weeks pass by without reciting any of the word of Allah. What kind of life is this? How could you be sincere to the word of Allah while it is handy and next to you and you're not really taking advantage of it? Adhering to his ruling verse number 29 of the purpose behind revelation of the Quran to ponder over its verses to learn to benefit to practice not just to read it occasionally. believing in its ambiguous verses. Is there any ambiguous verses in the Quran ambiguous to the layman to the ordinary people? But those who are deeply rooted in knowledge, they know exactly the meaning of every verse and the reason of the revelation and what is Allah meant behind revealing this verse and so on. So learning it and teaching it to others. The messenger of Allah said in the seven hadith, the best of all of you is the one who learns the Quran and teaches it to others. Protecting the Quran to our level best against distortion and the social particularly of the innovators and the exaggeration of the extremists trying to give a different interpretation to it. We must stop that. We must be very careful with whom we listen to when it comes to the taps and the interpretation of the Quran. What about sincerity towards the messenger of Allah? That mashallah includes the following. believing that he is the final messenger of Allah and we say that and it is equally important to say without it a person cannot be Muslim even if he says I believe that there is only one God. We must believe also in the final message and the final messenger Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam obeying his command and heeding his prohibitions. The messenger of Allah in the Quran Allah commanded us to obey Allah and to obey the messenger of Allah. And in he said Allah says whatever the messenger of Allah gives you and he commands you to do it you should do it and whoever he forbids you against it you should totally abstain and refrain from it respecting prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam and venerating him loving him more than we love our own selves because Allah sent him to us to take us out of darkness into light he's our savior by the leave of Allah, defending his sunnah after his death, standing up to anyone who speaks ill of him, giving precedence to loving him over loving anyone else, including oneself. What does it mean? If somebody likes to do something and the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam forbade it, he should refrain from it. Some people like to lie down on their stomach and sall alaihi wasallam forbade that and he said this is how Satan sleeps. So I avoid it even though I like it. By the way it is not healthy but simply I avoid it because the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam abhor it believing that he is a leader of mankind and the final messenger and he will be the first intercessor on the day of judgment by the leave of Allah. not exaggerating about him. The messenger of Allah said, "Whenever you speak about me, you should perceive me as the servant of Allah and his messenger." not similar to what the Christians did when they exaggerate pertaining to uh perceiving Jesus and they raised him to the status of divinehood or they perceive him as a son of God. That is not permissible. As believers, we invoke Allah. We don't invoke anyone including the messenger of Allah whom we love more than uh our own selves. well and sincerity towards the leaders of the Muslim uh um and this is one before the last that includes listening to them in what is permissible obeying them in what we can afford and as long as it is halal cooperating with them in in following the truth and reminding them of it not revolting against them and alerting them and giving them da whenever it is necessary, kindly and gently through the scholars of course softening the Muslims hearts towards obeying them as long as they are good and righteous uh rulers and leaders and leading people on the straight path not deviating them making dua for them praying for them. The messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam said in the hadith the best of your rulers are those whom you love and they love you. You pray for them and they pray for you. And finally, sincerity towards the um common f by making dua for all Muslims, loving all Muslims, loving for Muslims the same as I love for myself, showing sincerity towards all Muslims, men and women, poor and rich, young and old. Uh part of sincerity towards Muslims include loving good for them, loving for them what you love for yourself. as it's stated in the hadith, showing kindness towards them. Uh making sure that you would benefit them regardless whether they give you thanks or not because you're doing this for Allah's sake. refraining from harming them and giving thaw to them in joining what is good and forbidden what is bad gently as Almighty Allah has commanded. May the Almighty Allah make us among those who follow his guidance and the guidance of his messenger. [Music] Academy. [Music] Fore speech. [Music]
