You know that a person would seek blessings from them. You would find people wiping their hands over other individuals and kissing their feet and all these types of things that is not from the way of the prophetatam. And Allahh forbade us and forbid the people of the book from before not to be in extreme or people of the book. Do not be an extreme in your religion and do not say about Allah subhana tala which is not true isa the son of Mary is a messenger of Allah and the words of Allah subhanaa tala for him to be and he become and he becomes so this is the way that Allah subhana ta wants the believers to believe the Christians when they were were extreme in praising they took him in a divine level that Allah subhanaa tala is not pleased with that he's a messenger of Allah and a slave of Allah subhana tala an obedient slave to Allah subhana tala and the same thing for those who would overpraise some of the righteous ones till they give him some of the divinity or some of the things that is only attributed to Allah subhana wa ta'ala and the prophetat was warned us and he said be warned against extremism in matters of because indeed what destroyed the nations before you is to be extreme in the religion how to protect ourselves from that follow the way of the prophetatam and how the companions they used to deal with the prophetat that's the messenger of Allah but then how did the companions dealt with Abu Bakr and he is the top of the after the messengers of Allah the best of all human beings after the messengers of Allah is Abu Bakr did the companions or the from the those who didn't see the prophet would come and wipe their hands over Abu Bakr and kiss his feet and uh do these types of deviant ways. If a person is about to commit a sin he would see that and he would remember the righteous people then he would stay away from the sin. these are the names of the righteous people at the time of he stated but then when the knowledge become weak then they worship them besides Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala so this is how the shaitan has his plan to the people and when it comes to dreams and things of that nature the people of the truth they are to be loved and to give them and to fulfill the rights to them and to you know be kind and respectful and so on but not to take them in a level that is not their level of divinity and the like of this and that's why transgressing the limits when it comes to the when it comes to the righteous ones is of two types one that can take the person outside the full Islam if someone would believe or would treat a human being in a way that the same way that is to be to Allah subhana wa tala like for example if someone claimed that a human being he knows the unseen he knows al or he's able to do all things or he can control the universe he can cause life and death and so on or benefit and harm by his will by his power and this is is is present in some of the extreme ones among the sufis and the like of them you know this takes a person outside the fold of Islam what is left to Allah subhana wa t'ala it's all attributes of Allah subhana wa ta'ala or still can take the person outside the fold of Islam if they do to other than Allah subhana wa t'ala to a human being to a righteous one seeking help from them after they die a person is alone in the room like this and he would call upon a dead righteous person help me save me from the trouble that that I'm in he made a dua to other than Allah subhanaa tala which is major slaughtering to them making vows to them these are it's exactly as making sjud to And some of them would go make sjud on a grave for example. This is an act of a major shik. So this is something that can take the person outside the food of Islam. The second type which is still haram and it's sinful and it can lead to the shik but of a lesser level of evil but it's still evil. For example, when the the the graves of special righteous ones is to be built higher and to make it, you know, Allah and the prophetat wasam commanded us to make the graves uh almost level to the ground just one hand span to be raised from the ground but not to be built but rather to be done with dirt or so. building domes on top of the graves of the righteous ones. Building massagid on top of it, right? Burying them in the massid, traveling to visit their graves. The prophetat was commanded us to visit the graves. And he said, I used to prevent you from visiting the graves, but visit now the graves. Why? For your own benefit. And we'll talk about the proper etiquets and what's what's the objective of visiting the graves. But some people they visit the graves of the righteous ones thinking that this is a an act of an act of righteousness. When this is the case, even when we go to the masjid of the prophetatam, we are commanded to travel and it's a virtuous travel to travel to the masjid of the prophetat and also when they would use them as a was by their status and their dua to Allah subhana wa ta'ala or swearing by them which is a a minor shik as we know uh things like this. So as we know and when we talked about al- khalif if someone swears by an individual and he believes that he exalted him and he believes that he brings benefit or harm or so then this is a major shik of course and one of the very apparent ones is their in their graves. the issue of the graves and the grave worshippers. This is something that many of the people that have been afflicted with this ignorance that we would see in many parts of the world where people have this and extremism when it comes to the graves of the righteous ones which is as simple as it shows that it's not from the dean of alam where is that in the dean of Allah where is that in the Quran where is that in the sunnah of the prophetat wasam so building the graves when the prophetat wasallam forbid that building on top of it where the prophet Wasam himself cursed the ones that do such a thing and adorn it and things like this and to stay there. Some people they go and they sit next to the grave of a righteous one and they say this is a blessed spot. So they would make the they don't call upon the dead. They don't ask them for anything. They don't even make dua. They just they want to sit there to feel comfortable. This is not from the way the prophetat wasallam. This is all things can lead easily to the shik and associating partners with Allah and all of that is by giving so much attention to these things and the graves and so on. Many of the companions we do not even know their graves and they would die on on their way traveling and they would be buried right there. But when people saw they would give so much attentions to spots and graves and things like this and then they make mids by the grave of so and so and things like this. So then it leads them to idol worshiing which is grave worshiing worshiing the graves besides Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. So this is all as a result of this with this extremism. uh when a person again it goes back to the very basics of our religion when we say we have to be strictly following the Quran and the sunnah of the prophetatam the way it was practiced at the time of the prophetat wasam and the early generations of al- Islam that protects the person from these innovations that happened later which one of which is which is one of the ways of continue inshall next time with talking about the objective what's the proper way when it comes to visiting ing the graves according to the sunnah of the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam. foreign [Music]
