Islamic education level four and the
diseases of the heart and we're still
talking about alib
or arrogance and we left off with an
important principle that would lead us
to talk about the alled or the cure of
kib is that a person should not praise
himself saying that he has no arrogance.
So therefore he does not need to take
the means to cure himself from from
arrogance. This is a bad sign but rather
each and every one of us should take the
medicine for arrogance and not to praise
oneself because whoever has the weight
of a mustard seed of arrogance in his
heart he would not enter Jenna and how
would a person feel that sometimes a
person his heart is full of arrogance
and he doesn't know it. So therefore we
have to make sure that whatever is
mentioned about the cure for arrogance
this is upon each and every one of us to
take these means and these means of
cure. So since it's an something that is
destructive
and it doesn't get removed by wishful
thinking or saying I'm not arrogant I'm
not arrogant doesn't work this way
person has to take the means one of
which is to make dua to Allah subhana wa
tala and to seek help from Allah to seek
refuge in Allah like someone is drowning
and seeking help from Allah subhana wa
tala and the prophetat whenever he would
enter the salah start the salah he would
say
Alhamdulillah three times
three times
he would seek refuge in Allah subhana wa
tala from the cursed
is as they said from arrogance that
shaitan brings this arrogance in the
heart and is when a person is possessed
by thean or the like of this and anf is
the the poetry that makes a person away
from the dean of Allahh. But the point
here is the prophetat used to seek
refuge in Allah. We're saying
oh Allah I seek refuge in you from alib
from from arrogance.
So to seek help from Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala one of which also is to remove
the roots of it from the heart to remove
the the root of it. So it's a disease in
the heart and a person has to be patient
with his own self. So a person how to
get to know yourself
and and how this is a very important
question. The way for us to know
ourselves is by reading the Quran. When
you read the Quran, the Quran exposes
what human beings are. So a person start
to use the remedies of the Quran. So
whether a person knows that he's
arrogant or not just just seek help from
Allah subhana wa tala and humble
yourself which is the opposite of
arrogance and make yourself humble and
when a person knows Allah subhana wa
ta'ala the more the person knows Allah
subhana wa ta'ala the more that he would
find himself why his arrogance is the
most foolish thing ever because we're
human beings under the power and the
control of Allah subhana wa t'ala so
that's why al kib is something that is
only befitting to Allah Hala that's why
it's a it's a destructive sin
and that removes the kib from the heart
also to look and to reflect and to look
at these means that cause the person to
be arrogant and to be watchful of all of
these favors of Allahh that he bestowed
upon us to make sure that it does not
cause us to have arrogance. So if you
every time the subject of lineage comes
in place and you find yourself talking
about your lineage and you're so happy
with this then fix your heart and
remember that this does not necessarily
means or an an act of superiority
because the uncle of the prophetat
is in the hay for example the father

is in the hay so it's not about the
lineage so and plus you know a wise
person. How can a wise person uh be
attached or to think of anything uh or
to have arrogance by something that is
present in someone else other than him
you know so to think and to reflect
based on what's in the Quran and in the
sunnah of the prophetatam
also one of these means is to the
opposite of which is always the case
with the diseases of the heart if
something that we are condemned or
something that is harmful or disease of
the heart, one of the cure to it is the
is to do the opposite. The opposite of
it would eliminate it. So the opposite
of or arrogance is to humble oneself.
And sometimes a person has to be extreme
in his humbleness to remove the source
and the roots of the and the arrogance
in the heart. So the prophetatam
for example when she was asked what
would he do in his when he's at home she
said
that the prophetat will be there serving
and helping his family
if the salah comes he will go out for
the salah nothing stop him from this so
and that's the prophetat wasallam the
one that anything that he says all other
believer believers, all of the would
immediately submit themselves and they
would do exactly what the prophet was
wants from them. That was more beloved
to them than anything else in this
world. And still with that, the
prophetat was do things from his own
self and he would not treat others as if
he's the king and so on. Abdullah, the
slave of Allah and the messenger of
Allah, the best man ever walked on the
face of earth. And the same thing that
the prophetat wasam would you know take
care of his clothes. He would milk the
goat sometimes serve himself you know
sometimes sew his his cloth his clothing
and fix his shoes. This is something
that is mentioned in the hadith of the
prophetat.
Sometimes these physical actions that
makes a person humble himself. You know
sometimes a person find himself in his
heart he looks down upon people. Push
away this. You know a person finds
someone that is not wearing proper
clothing or clothes of those who are
poor and things like this. He thinks
that he's better than him. You have to
push away that feeling from the heart.
Sometimes a person has lots of money and
he wants to give charity but he gives it
to someone to give it to the poor. You
go yourself give it to the poor. You
know, humble yourself and make your if
there's means of course to do so to go
to those who are poor and not to of
course take pictures of them and
humiliate them but do it as a secret
actions that a person would do these
acts of humbleness so that a person put
self put himself in the right level that
Allahhana wants from him and we have in
the early generations of Islam the best
example in this and Omaroi's statements
and and before that Abu Bakr and Omar
North man and Ali and having the the
highest status of a of the society and
how they humbled themselves sleeping
under the shade of a tree and he's the
Khalifa of the Muslim you know and the
way that he conduct himself all of that
they learned it from the prophet going
to Jerusalem with his servant taking
turns with him with his servant after
they were victorious and they baited
Jerusalem and this is a day of triumph
and a victory for the Muslims and he's
going to Jerusalem to take the keys from
the priests and the leaders of the city
at the time and they usually wear all
these types of amazing clothing and gold
and so on and he's coming to meet them
with him and and his servant taking
turns and by the time they approached
the people to receive them it was the
turn of the servant to be riding and
is holding the rain of the camel you

their books. One of the signs and the

humbleness. How this humbleness there's
no like of it whatsoever. This is
something that pushes away all means of
kibra. And this is how the person is
elevated in the eyes of Allahh. We ask
Allahhanaa to make us among those who
humble themselves to the dean of
Allahhana and to accept the truth.
