diseases of the heart and the cure of
alasset how to cure envy. We talked
about how this evil wicked
characteristics in the heart that can
cause the heart to have that disease for
many reasons. If someone has it is there
a mean for a cure? Of course. and
everything with knowledge and with
actions and requires for effort to be
done. Yes. And this is what people
understand. Human beings they understand
that very well. Sometimes people they
might even amputate an arm or a leg to
save their life and they're willing to
do so. So when it comes to means of
cure, we have to prepare ourselves to
put the effort otherwise the person is
not truthful. So what is some of the
means of cure from hassad or from envy?
is to have the knowledge
that alassad is harmful for oneself
more than anyone else. When a person is
envious, he's harming himself in this
dunya in matters of worldly things and
matters of dean. In matters of dean,
when it comes to the religion, of
course, he brings the wrath of Allahhana
upon himself.
And therefore, if Allahh is angry with
him, what's goodness in this life? And
that means he will be punished severely
in this life and in the hereafter
because Allahh is the most just you know
and for people to have envy in their
hearts that means they as if they're
questioning the wisdom of Allah they see
how can he give that person and not me
he doesn't have to say it but this is
what's in his heart. So therefore a
person have to understand that and once
he knows this if he truly love Allah
subhana wa ta'ala then he would stay
away from being envious towards others
and plus a person becomes not from those
who are close to Allah subhana t becomes
likel he's imitating the worst thing
ever which isl and the disbelievers
those who followl and as far as the
harms that happens in this life the
hassid or the envious person is the
worst when it comes to miserable able
life he's always miserable why because
he always sees better others better than
him so that that's why he's torturing
himself he doesn't have spaciousness in
his heart so why would a person wants to
torture himself remove these things from
one's heart and seek help from Allah
subhana wa t'ala plus that favor that
Allah subhana t bestowed upon others it
does not get removed away just because
of a person is envious towards another
everything is by the of Allahhana ta So
why would a person get himself into some
ignorance
and as far as so so this is all with
knowledge of things reading the Quran
getting to know what Allah subhana t
wants so much and when it comes to
actions and doing things that is
benefiting for oneself is to humble
oneself
you know the can lead the person to wish
for death for others. So that person
that a person finds himself in his heart
that he has this evil feeling towards
and he wants for that person to lose the
favor of Allah subhanaa tala upon him.
Do acts of kindness to that person. Make
dua to Allah subhana t for that person
that Allah subhana wa ta'ala would bless
his wealth and health and so on. Humble
oneself to him. Praise him. Right? show
happiness as a result of the favor of
Allah subhana ta upon him so that the
person would train his heart and purify
his heart one step after the other to
have love and to be away from envy
that's why a person would purify his
heart from these diseases and from these
evil things which is again here the so
this is for the for the envious person
to purify his heart to cure his heart
and not to say that that person is heart
is steammed forever with hassad or with
envy. You know, there is a a cure to
this and sometimes it's because of the
upbringing of a person. A person is
brought in an environment where people
always look down upon others or envy
others or for example he was deprived
throughout his life from certain things
and once he come into the with others
who are rich and things like this
because of the lack of knowledge because
of ignorance he would have that because
there is something in the human beings
that they don't like for anyone to be
better than them. So this is something
uh normal in the human beings if it
comes or whisper of shaitan. So if
unless a person would seek help from
Allah unless a person would uh seek the
guidance from Allah subhana wa ta'ala
and believe in Allah subhana wa ta'ala
in the of Allahh and the destiny of
Allah knowing Allahh with his names and
attributes knowing that at the end this
life was a test. So those who were given
all kinds of materialistic things in
this life, it is not necessarily a good
sign for them. It's not a good thing. We
have to really redefine things. When
someone sees someone is extremely rich,
is that a good thing? Is to be extremely
rich. Is that a good thing? The answer
is not necessarily. We don't know. It's
a it depends on the person himself. If
the person is using the wealth for the
sake of Allah and being obedient to
Allah and giving the rights of this
wealth upon him zaka and so on mah this
is a great favor from Allah but if he's
not then this same wealth will be the
source of the wrath of Allahhana upon
him in the day of judgment so one thing
a person is given it is given that one
thing becomes either a source of
salvation or the opposite and the same
thing if a person is being withheld from
him this matter It's a test from Allah.
So someone has been poor for example.
It's a test from Allahh. Is he grateful
to Allah? Is he patient or he is
indulged into thinking if I have this or
I have that and then envying others
and then a person that does not change
his life and instead of taking the means
and asking Allahh from the bounties of
Allahhana he's busy being envious
towards others and when it comes to that
is also to make dua to Allahh even
though this is in the subject of the
evil eye but to make dua to Allahhana
that Allah bless the ones that you would
see something that you like whenever you
see it. You see, may Allah bless it for
them and to push away from the heart,
you know, the the sinful lifestyle that
people would have as a result of having
wealth and so on. It's the Sahab they
used to see that if someone is given
something materialistic in this life,
it's a burden. How are they going to use
it so that it does not come against them
in the day of judgment? Because it's a
test from Allah subhana wa tala. So
really many of these means of cure is as
a result of knowledge and the actions
that's supposed to be established as a
result of that and seeing the outcome of
things and being being humble and being
kind to others and seeking help from
Allahhana to purify the hearts from all
kinds of evil. So we ask Allahh to
protect us from the evil within our own
selves.
