Kind: captions Language: en for [Music] Fore [Music] and welcome back. Alhamdulillah. My dear students, welcome to the 19th edition in the fourth level of the prophetic noble hadith. And today inshallah we'll continue with the second segment of explaining hadith number 16th. The famous hadith of Abu when he narrated that the messenger of Allah may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him said Indeed Allah is good and he does not accept anything but that which is good. And Allah the Almighty has enjoyed upon the believers that which he has enjoyed upon the messengers. As he said in Al-M, "Oh messengers, eat from the good foods and do righteous deeds for I am well aware of that what you do of all what you do." And in Allah commanded the believers in chapter number 23 verse number 51, "All who you believed, eat from the good things which we have provided for you. Then he mentioned a man who travels a great deal, a long journey, and he is disheveled and he is covered with dust. Then he raises his hands to the heavens, saying, "Oh Lord, oh Lord, y while his food is from haram earning, his drink likewise his clothes are from haram earning. and he has been nourished with haram. So how can he receive an answer to his supplication? The hadith is collected by Imam Muslim and we did explain every segment of the hadith in the previous uh session by the grace of Allah remains for us to learn some very important and interesting lessons from this hadith and that's why we divided it into two sessions. The first lesson is about uh Allah's name the good and he is he is good in his actions in his sayings in his decrees everything about Allah is definitely good and he is a source of goodness and he loves what is good and he loves those who are good and he loves those who do good and that's why Allah the almighty address the believers in chapter number seven verse number Do Allah belong the beautiful names to invoke him thereby when you say oh Allah to say what forgive me. Oh Allah the forgiven forgive me my sins. You need to increase your provision. Oh Allah the ever provider increase my provision and so on. So he is good in his actions for the actions of Allah subhana wa t'ala are all good. His rulings are all good and it is indeed they're all in the best interest of his servants in this life and in the hereafter. Hence they are good and are appropriate for every time, place and circumstances. In the hadith the messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam said Any decree that almighty Allah will decree for his believing servant, it is most definitely good for him whether he knows or he doesn't. Whether he sees it immediately or after a while or even in the hereafter. Brothers and sisters, dealing with and using haram money which is earned unlawfully to buy food, to buy drink, to buy medication, to buy clothes will not make it lawful. Nourishing the body from haram will prevent answering the supplication. And this is very obvious in the hadith. No matter how many of the means of receiving uh a response are present, raising the hands, being disheveled, being dusty, crying, going for Hajj and Omrah. But the source, the money, the wealth is earned unlawfully. And that's why Subhanala would not answer the supplication of such person. His dua or her dua will be blocked for this season. And accordingly we should understand that uh the hijab of the dua whenever it is slow maybe it is slow because it is barred with our sins or because I have been earning unlawfully. When one's child is going astray or acting naughty or giving them a hard time you also need to check on the source of your earning. Some people don't mind earning from ribba, from gambling, from uh commissions which are haram, from selling what is forbidden and then they wonder how come that my relationship with my wife is not really good and my kids do not respect me. Think about the source of your earning and you still have a chance to fix that by repenting, by looking for a lawful job in order to make certain that you're earning lawfully. It will fix your problems and it will be a great means of accepting your dua and also your charity and your giving away. All of that will be accepted. We also learned that the messengers who were the most pious were also commanded. Allah asked them to do things and to stay away from things. So being the most righteous people doesn't mean that they did not receive an instruction from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. No, they have been instructed. Look how Allah said to his prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam How the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam was commanded with the night prayer in the previous ayat or imagine the other day I was telling my son to drive carefully and I putting emphasis on that actually it was today uh so he said uh Abby you don't have to remind me I drive very Well, I said Allah said to his prophet and the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam was the most righteous. So it is okay to remind even the believers among themselves reminding one another as Allah said inah keep reminding we remind one another because indeed the reminder benefits benefits whom benefits the believers. The one who refrains from good and lawful things as an act of devotion is committing a big sin. What do you mean? Don't understand. If I decided I don't want to eat chicken, I don't want to eat beef. I don't want to eat fish. No problem. Your choice. The messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam said, you don't want to eat anything, don't eat it, but do not criticize it. It is created by Allah and other like it and it is loful so let them eat it. So if somebody decided to become vegetarian because of health reasons or because of whatever reason as long as he does not criticize eating meat, drinking milk, eating eggs, eating chicken and say this is very inhumane because by saying so he's objecting to Allah's decree. Allah is the one who decreed that it is lawful for us to eat such and such meat. Okay? If you make it allful, it becomes a major sin. But if you decide, ah, well, I'm not into chicken, no problem. I'm not into seafood, no problem. It is about how you perceive it. It's halal, but I'm not into it. That is acceptable. it becomes haram and a person will become blamew worthy if he were to perceive what Allah has made lawful and said it is as unlawful because in fact Allah did not make anything all lawful but what is what is evil in surah chapter number 7 verse number 32 Allah the Almighty says who has forbidden the adornment of Allah which he has produced for his servants and the good lawful things of provision. Allah the Almighty said in the beginning. So no one is allowed to perceive what Allah has made lawful as unlawful. Exactly. Similar to no one is allowed to perceive what Allah has made unlawful as lawful. We also learned that a command may be addressed to one who already has a characteristic because Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala said do righteous deeds and he said it to whom? He addressed the messengers and the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam was already and the most god-fearing. So this is a reminder and an emphasis also we learn brothers and sisters that everything which is forbidden is check out in um uh Allah said about prophet Muhammad and that a prophecy was given to prophet Moses in the Torah. The messenger who shall make lawful for his fuls what is good and shall make for them all lawful everything which is evil everything which is harmful. So whenever Allah forbids anything no questions asked. Maybe we may think that what is the reason it's none of your business. You don't ask questions. If Allah explains a reason, fine. If we find out a reason, medical reason, social reason, whatever, we can add it to the list of convincing reasons. But Allah doesn't owe his servants to explain the wisdom behind the prohibition or the mandate of anything. Charity, brothers and sisters, must be given from lawful earning. And if the earning is unlawful, unfortunately, the charity will not be accepted. Allah doesn't accept any prayer without the proper woodoo. Nor does nor does he accept any charity which is given from unlawful or stolen um wealth. Allah is good and he only accepts that which is good. The messenger of Allah said if you give even something as little as a date or have date but from halal and Allah doesn't accept. But what is halal? What is lawful? Allah will grow it for you, will enlarge its reward for you until it becomes like a huge mountain provided it is given from halal. If the person have repented and wants to give away what he has what he has stolen and he doesn't know the person or the person have died and does not have ears. So he may give it in a charity but on behalf of the owner of the property or the wealth hopefully he will be forgiven and the reward will go to the original owner of that wealth. We also learn from the hadith some of the many etiquets of the dua in order for our supplication to be accepted and may Allah accept all our prayers and purify our earnings and purify our hearts. Until next time. [Music] Academy to Foreign [Music]
