And as he rejoices, as he jokes around with his friends every now and then, he also becomes angry at times. And it's not human not to become angry on other ways of looking at it. If you say that someone doesn't become angry, this person has a deficiency because when someone attacks your wife or daughter, if someone insults you and you don't become angry, there's something wrong with you. The prophetat wasam was the perfect human being. However, his anger was not like ours. His anger was directed towards the things that go against the religion. His face used to go red and he used to become angry only when sins were committed and transgression was against Allah's Sharia. And this is why mother Aisha explained that and she said that the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam did not seek revenge for himself ever unless the sacred limits of Allahawel has been transgressed against. So only then he would seek vengeance for the religion and not for himself. There are some cases where the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam became angry. For example, when he heard two of his companions arguing and their voices are rising because they were disputing over a verse of the Quran. So he came out of his chamber and he was obviously angry. We could see it in his face. And he said that those who came before you were destroyed only because of their argument about the Quran, about their book, about their scripture. And you're almost doing the same thing. So it's not as we cannot discuss the Quran and learn it among ourselves about the different opinions of scholars. This is a healthy sign. But what is not permissible is to argue and you bring a verse from here and a verse from there just to prove your point. though you know that this is not the truth and that would cause division in the um and we see this visibly nowadays when we hear people interpreting the Quran and they're famous on some media platforms or social media and they come as if they have the authority to give taps of the Quran and interpret the Quran. And at times you can tell these guys never learned taps from trusted scholars. They've never sat down with trusted scholars to learn it from. However, they come and speak with authority and they say that there is no this, there is no that. And all of this shows you that it is a cause for the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam to be angry with such people. The prophet sallallaihi wasallam also got angry when he heard his companions disputing about destiny and Allah's divine decree and he was so angry when they were discussing it he came out and he said is this what you were ordered by is this what I was sent to you with is this why you were created? You are striking the Quran by itself. Those before you were only destroyed when they argued about this and in these matters. I command you, I order you, I urge you not to argue about it. Why? This is Allah's secret. The prophet said, "Whenever decree or predestiny is mentioned, you have to refrain. Stop. Don't argue. Don't talk about it." And a lot of the questions I get are from people confused. If the divine decree has been already decreed, then why am I supposed to do this or do that? Why am I punished if I do sins when Allah has already pre-ordained it? And people don't want to understand. They want to justify their flaws and shortcomings because Allah has already written it upon them. How do you know what Allah has written? Maybe Allah has written that you become a Quran. Why don't you go and memorize the Quran? Why do you go to nightclubs and bars? We can go on and speak about this. But those who don't want to learn, they would have a problem with such things. The prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam got angry when one of his companions, may Allah be pleased with him, prolonged prayer until one of the companions left it and completed it by himself and went to complete his errands. And accused him of being a hypocrite. The prophet sallall alaihi wasallam when he heard about this was angered and said, "Oh people among you there are those who repel Muslims from Islam. Whoever leads the prayer should make it easy in short so that he would be mindful of those praying behind him. Behind him there is those who are old, those who are sick, though those who have errands to go and complete. Also the prophetat wasallam was angered once when he was dividing money to his companions and one of the men stood up and said by Allah this is a division that Allah's face was not wanted or or or directed to. He's accusing the prophet's intention and he's accusing him of being unfair and unjust. The prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam when he heard this because Abdullah Masoud came and told the prophet sallallaihi wasallam about this incident. The prophet was furious. He was so angry. Then he calmed down and said, "May Allah have mercy on my brother Musa." Prophet Musa. He was abused. He was accused. He was wrong done more than this. And he was patient also when someone came to ask the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam about waking up while in the state of major ritual impurity. and it's already after the break of dawn. It's already after fudger and he wants to fast. The prophet said to him, I do this. There's no problem. Go and have yourul pray fudger and continue your fasting. The man said to the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam, "Oh prophet of Allah, you're not like us. Allah has forgiven your previous and upcoming sins." as if the man is telling the prophetam that oh you're taking it easy because Allah has forgiven you. The prophet got angry because of his response and he said by Allah I hope that I am the most fearful of Allah among you and the most knowledgeable in what I follow. So don't say such words. And finally, if the prophet saw something, he would become angry. And in the hadith, he saw once a man wearing a golden ring of his companions. The prophet sallallaihi wasallam went to him, snatched the ring from his finger and threw it on the ground saying why would anyone take a stone of fire and place it in his hand and left. Also another incident Abdah may Allah be pleased with him came to the prophetam with two garments of zaffron dyed with zaffron and this what the disbelievers and idol worshippers used to do so it's a customs but there is a prohibition from wearing such clothes so when he came to the prophetat wasam the prophet got angry And he says, I could see the anger in his face. And he said to me, your mom ordered you to wear these. Immediately Abdullah acknowledged that he did a a mistake. So he said, "Oh prophet of Allah, should I wash them off?" And the prophet said, "No, burn them." Washing them off could take the dye out and you can still benefit from the clothes. But the prophet reprimanded himat wasam as he's not any companion. He's a knowledgeable companion and he said to him burn them. What do we learn from all of this? We learned that the prophet is a human being. One could argue and say well the prophet could have said this in a softer manner in this and that fear. Do you think that the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam did not know that he could have said it in a softer manner? However, this is not wisdom. The wisdom is to express your anger at times when you need to do so and to speak softly and diplomatically when the time requires you do so. This is wisdom. So people have to be dealt differently with those who want to learn and did a mistake for the first time and don't have knowledge. You're soft with them like the man who urinated in the masid. The prophet did not scold him. He spoke to him in a very nice way. But when we see his companions who know, have knowledge and are close to him, he dealt with them in a different fashion expressing his anger so that they would not fall into that same mistake again.
