Kind: captions Language: en [Music] all right I am actually uh having lunch and I'm gonna have a Mediterranean lunch on the Asian side and I order some things on a menu that many of you may not be familiar with but are absolutely delicious I want to just show you the diversity of the food so the first one is this this is wood ear mushrooms with vinegar and soy sauce it's got a little bit of chili pepper and red onion some parsley all right let's talk about this um let me pick one up so you can actually see it what are your mushrooms been cultivated for tens of thousands of years it's actually a kind of a fungus and it contains these polysaccharides that actually been shown to lower the risk of heart disease because it actually helps to keep your blood thin to prevent blood clotting which we don't actually want to have and the other thing is that it actually has is Chili Peppers which is good for my metabolism uh it's got some garlic which is also good for my metabolism onions also good for my metabolism onions of course the tin garlic has allicin Chili Peppers of capsaicin so you can kind of see this dish packed with goodness oh vinegar vinegar acetic acid also activates my uh my metabolism as well so this is a wood ear mushroom salad lunch I just wanted you to see how is it easy it is to order something interesting that's good for you
