all right I am actually uh having lunch
and I'm gonna have a Mediterranean lunch
on the Asian side and I order some
things on a menu that
many of you may not be familiar with but
are absolutely delicious I want to just
show you the diversity of the food so
the first one is this
this is wood ear mushrooms with vinegar
and
soy sauce it's got a little bit of chili
pepper and red onion some parsley all
right let's talk about this
um let me pick one up so you can
actually see it
what are your mushrooms been cultivated
for tens of thousands of years it's
actually a kind of a fungus and it
contains these polysaccharides that
actually been shown to lower the risk of
heart disease because it actually helps
to keep your blood thin to prevent blood
clotting which we don't actually want to
have
and the other thing is that it actually
has is
Chili Peppers which is good for my
metabolism uh it's got some garlic which
is also good for my metabolism onions
also good for my metabolism onions of
course the tin garlic has allicin Chili
Peppers of capsaicin so you can kind of
see this dish
packed with goodness
oh vinegar
vinegar
acetic acid also activates my uh my
metabolism as well so this is a wood ear
mushroom salad lunch
I just wanted you to see how is it easy
it is to order something interesting
that's good for you
