I wrote two books they contain over 300
foods and they all contain uh
ingredients and food ingredients that
are actually good for gut microbiome
I'll tell you uh things that I think
that you might want to call out like
like pomegranates and elat tannins uh
kiwis pears are a great source of
dietary fiber I generally tell people
that the wisdom of the Mediterranean
diet or the Asian diet it's pretty much
on track so if you can find something
healthy that you like that you would
cook yourself um with Whole Foods along
those genres you're probably getting
something that's good for your gut uh
microbiome as importantly though I think
there are things that we need to be
cautious about in addition to
antibiotics I think the ultra processed
foods with a lot of food additives food
coloring artificial preservatives
artificial flavorings these are the
sneaky things that most of us don't
realize we're putting into our shopping
carts things that are starting to be
discovered that could injure your gut
