The time to replace the undone fasting days
if we don't have any obstacle
is until the month of Sya'ban
That is the period to replace our fasting
But if you have something that prevents you
it is fine, although it is after 2 years
For example, one is ill and cannot fast it
His illness continues
When he recovers, he goes to travel
and when he returns home, he gets ill again
So, he cannot replace them
because of his illness
So, he has not committed any sin
What is unlawful, is that he has the chance
to replace it, and it is a long period
11 months, it is a long period,
and he doesn't replace any day
Until the next Ramadhan,
then he's committed a sin
He still has to replace them and ask
forgiveness to Allah suhbanahu wa ta'ala
Some salaf say, he has to replace,
and pay fidyah
But this is only a fatwa
