Hence, Islamic scholars wrote in their books on faith, books on loving the Prophet ﷺ's companions. Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said: آية الإيمان حب الأنصار The sign of Faith is to love the Ansar. How can we not love the companions, while it was them who had fought to carry on the Prophet ﷺ's teachings, to spread Islam so that Islam can be wildly spread in this world? The companions رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ are praised by Allah in the Quran. They are praised highly. Among others, Allah SWT said: وَٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُهَٰجِرِينَ وَٱلۡأَنصَارِ وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوهُم بِإِحۡسَٰنٖ رَّضِيَ ٱللَّهُ Allah SWT said: “And the first to lead the way, of the Muhajirin and the Ansar, Allah is well pleased with them, and they are well pleased with Him. وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي تَحْتَهَا الْأَنْهَارُ and He hath made ready for them Gardens underneath which rivers flow, خالدين فيها أبداً wherein they will abide for ever. Whereas us who come after them, how can we enter the paradise? Allah asks us to follow the companions' good deeds. Allah SWT said: وٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوهُم بِإِحۡسَٰنٖ And those who come after the companions, and those who followed them in goodness, Allah is well pleased with them, and they are well pleased with Him, and they too enter the paradise. Imagine. What Allah asks us to do to enter His paradise. We have to follow the path of the companions رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ Among Allah's praise to them Allah SWT said: لَقَدْ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِذْ يُبَايِعُونَكَ تَحْتَ الشَّجَرَةِ فَعَلِمَ مَا فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ فَأَنْزَلَ السَّكِينَةَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَثَابَهُمْ فَتْحًا قَرِيبًا Allah SWT said: Certainly, was Allah pleased with the believers, the companions, when they pledged allegiance to you, under the tree, How many companions were there? 1,400 companions pledged allegiance to the Prophet under the tree. Allah SWT said: فَعَلِمَ مَا فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ Allah knows their good heart. Allah does not only recommend what can be seen from the companions, but He also recommends their heart. Allah SWT said: فَعَلِمَ مَا فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ And Allah knows what is in their heart. فَأَنْزَلَ السَّكِينَةَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَثَابَهُمْ فَتْحًا قَرِيبًا So, He sent down tranquility upon them. Allah SWT said: لِلْفُقَرَاءِ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ الَّذِينَ أُخْرِجُوا مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْ وَأَمْوَالِهِمْ يَبْتَغُونَ فَضْلًا مِنَ اللَّهِ وَرِضْوَانًا وَيَنْصُرُونَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الصَّادِقُونَ For the poor migrants, Allah SWT said, لِلْفُقَرَاءِ, for the poor migrants, who were expelled from their homes and their properties, Why did they leave their homes and properties? Allah SWT said that He tested their sincerity. We cannot be sure who is sincere. But, the companions, Allah guaranteed that they were sincere. What were their purposes when they migrate? Allah SWT said: يَبْتَغُونَ فَضْلًا مِنَ اللَّهِ وَرِضْوَانًا They looked for Allah's blessing, they wanted to please Allah. And Allah gave them a big test. Allah SWT said: ينصرون الله ورسوله They supported Allah and His Messenger. أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلصَّٰدِقُونَ Those are the truthful. This is a praise for the companions. The companions are not only praised in the Quran. Allah SWT said that companions are mentioned in the Torah and the Bible. Allah SWT said: “Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those with him, that are the companions, who are forceful against the disbelievers, merciful among themselves. What are their characters? تَرَاهُمْ رُكَّعًا سُجَّدًا يَبْتَغُونَ When you see them, you see them bowing and prostrating [in prayer], سِيمَاهُمْ فِي وُجُوهِهِمْ مِنْ أَثَرِ السُّجُودِ You can see from their faces Their mark is on their faces from the trace of prostration. Allah SWT said: ذَٰلِكَ مَثَلُهُمْ فِي التَّوْرَاة That is their description in the Torah. The companions were praised by Allah in the Torah. We may not find it because the Torah was already damaged by the Jewish. The companions were praised in the Torah. And Allah SWT said: وَمَثَلُهُمْ فِي الْإِنْجِيلِ "And their description in the Bible." They were praised in the Bible too. A remarkable generation. Allah SWT said: كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ You are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind. How could they not be? Their teacher is Allah’s Messenger ﷺ? Their teacher is the best Apostle. Then it is normal that the students were the best students. Those were the companions. The Apostle ﷺ said: خَيْرُ النَّاسِ قَرْنِي ثُمَّ الَّذِيْنَ يَلُوْنَهُمْ The people of my generation are the best, that are the companions, then those who follow them, and then whose who follow the latter. Whoever reads the history of the companions, they will read great stories, extraordinary ones, that should it not be narrated by the true narrators, we would say that those are fairy tales. But those stories are told by by the true narrators, who narrated that those stories really happened. See how the companions رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُم fought with the Prophet ﷺ with extraordinary efforts. There was a war, Zatul Riqa'. The companions had to walk hundreds of kilometers. They had to walk to chase after the enemy. Then they walked past rocks, gravel that their shoes ... ... their shoes were torn out. Until finally they had to wrap their cloth on their feet to walk hundreds of miles. See how the companions رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُم It was told that the companions رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُم despite the fact that they were at war, they fasted for Allah SWT. Look at Mu'tah war. They had to walk from Madinah to Mu'tah, 1,100 km to face the Romans at that time, and there were 200,000 of them. While the companions were only 3,000 of them. And their prayer, look at Abad bin Bisyir رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ One day, he was assigned by Allah’s Messenger ﷺ, to do the night guard. He was doing the night prayer, suddenly, an arrow from the disbelievers hit his body. It hit his body and he started to bleed. He continued his prayer despite the arrow hurting his body. A second arrow hit him, and he continued his prayer. A third one hit him. He continued to bleed. Ammar bin Yassir رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ saw him, "Poor Abad ibn Bashir رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ What is happening?" Then, Abad ibn Bashir said, "I was reciting a surah, I did not want to stop before the end of the surah." So, although he was badly hit, he enjoyed his prayer reciting the surah. These are the companions رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُم. Are there among us able to give away all of his wealth for charity? It is impossible today to find one who is willing to do that. But a companion, Abu Bakr رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ, gave all his property for Allah SWT. Hence, the Apostle ﷺ said, ما أبقيت لأهلك؟ “What did you leave for your family?” Abu Bakr رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ answered: أبقيت لهم الله ورسوله "I left Allah and His Messenger for them." Hence, My dear Muslims of Friday prayer, May Allah SWT bless you, Indeed, if we learn the companion's struggle, companions' act of worship, their faith, it is like a fairy tale. But these are the truth. They are narrated by the true narrators. It is not surprising since their teacher was Allah’s Messenger ﷺ himself. Among the noble companions the most senior companion, was Abu Bakr رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ. The Prophet ﷺ said on him: أَنَّ خَيْرَ هَذِهِ الأُمَّةِ بَعْدَ نَبِيِّهَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ The best of this Ummah (nation) after the Apostle, was Abu Bakr رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ. Allah’s Messenger ﷺ guaranteed the paradise for Abu Bakr. The Apostle ﷺ said: “Abu Bakr in Paradise.” Verses of Quran were revealed praising Abu Bakr رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ. Among other, Allah SWT revealed: وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا الْأَتْقَى الَّذِي يُؤْتِي مَالَهُ يَتَزَكَّىٰ وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِنْدَهُ مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ تُجْزَىٰ إِلَّا ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ الْأَعْلَىٰ وَلَسَوْفَ يَرْضَىٰ Allah SWT said: But those most devoted to Allah (that is Abu Bakr) shall be removed far from Jahannam. الَّذِي يُؤْتِي مَالَهُ يَتَزَكَّىٰ Those who spend their wealth for increase in self-purification, وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِنْدَهُ مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ تُجْزَىٰ And have in their minds no favor from anyone for which a reward is expected in return, But only the desire to seek for the Countenance of their Lord Most High; Islamic Scholars agreed that these verses refer to Abu Bakr رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ in Mecca, during the beginning of Allah’s Messenger ﷺ's mission, where slaves were tortured, among them was Bilal رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ. He was tortured by Ummayah bin Khalaf, his master. Stones were put on his chest. He was left under the sun. He was humiliated. Children dragged him on the sand around Mecca. Allah’s Messenger ﷺ came to see Abu Bakr and said: يا ابا بكر ان بلال عذب فالله "O Abu Bakr, Bilal is tortured for the sake of Allah SWT." Abu Bakr understood that Allah’s Messenger ﷺ wanted him to free Bilal. At that time, Allah’s Messenger ﷺ could not afford to free Bilal. Meanwhile Abu Bakr was a wealthy merchant. Hence, Abu Bakr freed Bilal with a high price. And most of his companions mentioned, 6 or 7 slaves were freed by Abu Bakr رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ.ْ His father told him, "O Abu Bakr, If you must free slaves, why do you not free strong ones, instead of weak ones? Abu Bakr responded: “I desire to seek for the Countenance of My Lord Most High;” and so, Allah, exalted is He, revealed that Abu Bakr freed Bilal none hath with him any favor for reward. إِلَّا ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ الْأَعْلَىٰ He only desired to seek for the Countenance of his Lord Most High; What would be the reward from Allah SWT? Allah SWT said: ولسوف يرضى You will be pleased. You will be satisfied. Satisfied with what? With God's paradise in the judgment day. Among the verses on Abu Bakr رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ, when there was false accusation toward Aishah رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْها of adultery. Among those who accused Aisha committing adultery was Mishthah, He was Abu Bakr's relative receiving sustenance from Abu Bakr. Abu Bakr رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ was providing him. And Mishthah returned Abu Bakr's good deeds with bad thing, accusing his daughter of adultery. Abu Bakr was very angry. He said, "I will no longer provide for Mishthah." Allah revealed a verse for Abu Bakr Allah SWT said: "And let not those of virtue among you and wealth, like Abu Bakr, swear not to give [aid] to the needy, to their relatives and the emigrants for the cause of Allah. Allah SWT said: وَلْيَعْفُوا وَلْيَصْفَحُوا “And let them pardon and overlook.” أَلَا تُحِبُّونَ أَنْ يَغْفِرَ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ “Would you not like that Allah should forgive you?” Then Abu Bakr said, "I forgive him." It is clear that Abu Bakr is pardoned for his sins. Because he pardoned Mishthoh, رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ. Among the noble verses praising Abu Bakr رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْ.هُ, Allah revealed: إِلَّا تَنصُرُوهُ فَقَدْ نَصَرَهُ اللَّهُ إِذْ أَخْرَجَهُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا ثَانِيَ اثْنَيْنِ إِذْ هُمَا فِي الْغَارِ إِذْ يَقُولُ لِصَاحِبِهِ لَا تَحْزَنْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَنَا Allah SWT said, "If you do not aid the Apostle, إِلَّا تَنصُرُوهُ فَقَدْ نَصَرَهُ اللَّهُ "If you do not aid the Apostle.” فَقَدْ نَصَرَهُ اللَّه "Allah has already aided him.” How did He aid him? Allah made Abu Bakr and Muhammad walked, migrate to Madinah. Allah made Abu Bakr RA the person accompanying Allah’s Messenger ﷺ. ثَانِيَ اثْنَيْنِ إِذْ هُمَا فِي الْغَارِ Allah mentioned the Prophet and Abu Bakr. Allah SWT says: one of two, when they were in the cave and he said to his companion, إِذْ يَقُولُ لِصَاحِبِهِ When the Apostle ﷺ said to his companion (that is Abu Bakr), لَا تَحْزَنْ "Do not grieve, O Abu Bakr." إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَنَ "Indeed, Allah is with us." "Allah is with you and I, O Abu Bakr." In the hadith, Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said when Abu Bakr was in fear, Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said: يَا أَبَابَكْرٍ مَاظَنُّكَ بِاثْنَيْنِ اللهُ ثَالِثُهُمَا “O Abu Bakr, what do you think of two people, the third of whom is Allah?” That Allah was with Allah’s Messenger ﷺ, and Allah was with Abu Bakr رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ. There are a lot of Hadith about the quality of Abu Bakr. He was the first man embracing Islam. The first adult male embracing Islam was Abu Bakr رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ. And Ibn Hajr said, "All adults embracing Islam after Abu Bakr, the merit goes to Abu Bakr. Why? Because he gave good examples and was followed by many people. And the merit of those who take him as example goes to Abu Bakr When Abu Bakr embraced Islam, he preached, extraordinarily, following the example of the Apostle ﷺ that noble persons embraced Islam and are guaranteed paradise. Such as Abdurrahman ibn Auf, Zubair Awwam, Thaha bin Ubaidillah Saad bin Abi Waqsh. These five people to whom paradise was guaranteed by Allah’s Messenger ﷺ embraced Islam because of Abu Bakr What about Abu Bakr Abu Bakr رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ had the title As Siddiq, who is always true. The Prophet (ﷺ) once climbed the mountain of Uhud with Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman. The mountain shook with them. Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said: اثبت أحد اثْبُتْ أُحُدُ "Be firm, O Uhud!” فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْكَ نَبِيٌّ وَصِدِّيقٌ وَشَهِيدَانِ For on you there are no more than a Prophet, a Siddiq, Abu Bakr, وَشَهِيدَانِ and two martyrs, Umar dan Uthman, رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْا. Hence, Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said: ما اردت هذا الامر على احد الا كنت منه كبوه الا ما كان اب بكر رضي الله عنه I did not preach this religion to anyone, except that there was doubts, did not accept it right away, except that Abu Bakr accepts it right away. Except that Abu Bakr accepts it right away. the Apostle ﷺ’s preaching: Why would Abu Bakr accept it right away the Apostle ﷺ’s preaching? Because Abu Bakr was the Apostle’s best friend. Before the Apostle was appointed Apostle, he was Allah’s Messenger ﷺ’s best friend. He knew really well his best friend, Allah’s Messenger ﷺ. Abu Bakr was the Apostle’s best friend. before the Apostle was appointed Apostle, And even more after the Apostle was appointed Apostle. One day, in Shahih Al-Bukhari, Abu Darda said: كُنْتُ جَالِسًا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ “I was sitting with the Apostle ﷺ.” إِذْ أَقْبَلَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ Then came Abu Bakr رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ. آخِذًا بِطَرَفِ ثَوْبِهِ In a hurry, lifting up one corner of his garment, حَتَّى أَبْدَى عَنْ رُكْبَتِه uncovering his knees. And Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said: أَمَّا صَاحِبُكُمْ فَقَدْ غَامَرَ . "Your companion, Abu Bakr, has had a quarrel." Abu Bakr said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Abu Bakr reported to the Apostle. "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! إِنِّي كَانَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ ابْنِ الخَطَّابِ شَيْءٌ ، فَأَسْرَعْتُ إِلَيْهِ “O Allah’s Messenger ﷺ, here was something (i.e. quarrel), between me and the Son of Al-Khattab. I talked to him harshly, ثُمَّ نَدِمْتُ and then regretted that, فَسَأَلْتُهُ أَنْ يَغْفِرَ لِي فَأَبَى عَلَيَّ And I came to Umar and said, “O Umar, forgive me for having talked harshly.” “Umar refused to forgive me.” "And so, I came to you, Allah’s Messenger ﷺ." What did Allah’s Messenger ﷺ say? When Umar did not want to forgive Abu Bakr, Abu Bakr worried. He reported to the Apostle ﷺ, What did the Apostle ﷺ say? يَغْفِرُ اللَّهُ لَكَ يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ “O Abu Bakr! May Allah forgive you.” Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said it three times. As if the Apostle said, “Although Umar did not forgive you.” “Allah forgive you. Worry not.” ثُمَّ إِنَّ عُمَرَ نَدِمَ In the meanwhile, Umar regretted (his refusal of Abu Bakr's excuse) and went to Abu Bakr's house, فَسَأَلَ: أَثَّمَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ؟ and asked to Abu Bakr's family, “Is Abu Bakr home?” فَقَالُوا: لاَ They replied in the negative. فَأَتَى إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَلَّمَ He came to the Apostle ﷺ, and greeted him. What did Abu Darda, the narrator said? He said, فَجَعَلَ وَجْهُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَمَعَّرُ “Signs of displeasure toward Umar appeared on the face of the Prophet (ﷺ).” Why? Because Umar did not forgive his companion, Abu Bakr رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ. Who was Umar? Umar was the person to whom paradise was guaranteed. Even Shaitan is afraid of Umar. But facing Abu Bakr, and he did not want to forgive Abu Bakr, Allah’s Messenger ﷺ was angry. حَتَّى أَشْفَقَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ When Abu Bakr saw Allah’s Messenger ﷺ, was angry to Umar, Abu Bakr pitied Umar. فَجَثَا عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ And so, Abu Bakr knelt, And he said. يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، وَاللَّهِ أَنَا كُنْتُ أَظْلَمَِ “O Allah’s Messenger ﷺ, it was my fault. Not Umar’s.” “It was my fault, O Allah’s Messenger ﷺ.” So that Allah’s Messenger ﷺ forgive Umar. What did the Apostle ﷺ say? He still defended Abu Bakr. He said, إِنَّ اللَّهَ بَعَثَنِي إِلَيْكُمْ فَقُلْتُمْ كَذَبْتَ “Allah sent me (as a Prophet) to you (people) O, my companions.” “But you said (to me), 'You are telling a lie,’ وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ صَدَقَ While Abu Bakr said, “Muhammad is telling the truth.” When you denied me, Abu Bakr رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ said, 'He has said the truth,' وَاسَانِي بِنَفْسِهِ وَمَالِهِ “And he consoled me with himself and his money.” And Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said: فَهَلْ أَنْتُمْ تَارِكُوا لِي صَاحِبِي مَرَّتَيْ "Won't you then give up harming my companion for my sake?” "Won't you then give up harming my companion, Abu Bakr, for my sake?” Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said it twice. فمَا أُوذِيَ بَعْدَهَا After that nobody harmed Abu Bakr. Why? Because Allah’s Messenger ﷺ defended him. ما نفعني مال قط ما نفعني مال أبي بكر. “The wealth of no one has benefited me as much as the wealth of Abu Bakr.” Why did Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said it? Because Abu Bakr donated in the beginning of Islam. Donation was very much needed at that time. This donation guaranteed the life of Islam whether it would last or not. The companions’ donation. We understood what the Apostle ﷺ said: لَا تَسُبُّوا أَصْحَابِي “Do not revile my Companions.” لَوْ أَنْفَقَ مِثْلَ أُحُدٍ ذَهَبًا مَا أَدْرَكَ مُدَّ أَحَدِهِمْ وَلاَ نَصِيفَهُ “Do not revile my Companions.” “O Allah’s Messenger ﷺ, remind us.” “My Companions did mistakes.” “But their good deeds are as much as the ocean.” “They did a few mistakes.” “Do not turn out “their mistakes as... ... a reason to revile them.” The Apostle ﷺ said, by Allah, if one of you contributed the amount of gold equivalent to Uhud, it would not amount to as much as the mudd of one of them, or half of it. Why? They donated in the beginning of Islam. It determined the life of Islam. Whether it would last or not. My dear fellow Muslims, may Allah SWT bless you, These are only a few of Abu Bakr's quality. His donation, his acts of worship. One day, Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said in front of the Companions. مَنْ أَصْبَحَ مِنْكُمُ الْيَوْمَ صَائِمًا Who amongst you fasted today? Abu Bakr رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ said, “I, O Allah’s Messenger ﷺ, I fasted.” And the Apostle ﷺ asked a second question. فَمَنْ تَبِعَ مِنْكُمُ الْيَوْمَ جَنَازَةً “Who amongst you has followed the bier today?” Abu Bakr said: “I, O Allah’s Messenger ﷺ.” Allah’s Messenger ﷺ asked again. فَمَنْ أَطْعَمَ مِنْكُمُ الْيَوْمَ مِسْكِينًا “Who amongst you has served food to the needy?” Abu Bakr said: “I, O Allah’s Messenger ﷺ.” Allah’s Messenger ﷺ asked again. فَمَنْ عَادَ مِنْكُمُ الْيَوْمَ مَرِيضً “ Who amongst you has today visited the sick?” Abu Bakr said: “I, O Allah’s Messenger ﷺ.” Subhanallah. Worshiping. His life was to worship. And the Apostle ﷺ said, مَا اجْتَمَعْنَ فِي امْرِئٍ إِلاَّ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ He must get into Paradise who combines in himself all these noble qualities and virtues). Umar ibn Khattab رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ said: أمرنارسول الله صلَّى الله عليه وسلَّم أن نتصدق “Allah’s Messenger ﷺ ordered us to donate for charity.” فوافق ذلك مالًا عندي “At that time, I had some property, so, I said,” اليوم أسبق أبا بكر "Today I shall surpass Abu Bakr.” إن سبقته يومًا “If I surpass him any day in act of worship, “I will defeat Abu Bakr because I have property.” And Umar came to the Apostle ﷺ, فجئت بنصف ماليً “I came to Allah’s Messenger ﷺ with half of my property.” Allah’s Messenger ﷺ asked: «ما أبقيت لأهلك؟» “What have you left for your family?” Umar said: مثله “The same amount.” فجاء أبو بكرٍ بكلِّ ما عنده Then came Abu Bakr رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ bringing all he had with him. He gave all of his wealth in front of the Apostle. “What did you leave for your family? Abu Bakr رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ said, فقال: أبقيت لهم الله ورسوله I have left Allah and His Messenger for them. That is why we shall love Abu Bakr. How could we not love Abu Bakr? The person whom the Apostle love most from men was Abu Bakr. أي الناس أحب إليك ؟ “Who you love most among human?" The Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said, “Aisha.” I love Aisha most.” “من الرجال؟ , and male whom you love the most, O Messenger of Allah?” Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said, “Her father.” Who? Abu Bakr رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ. It is act of worship to love Abu Bakr. To love Abu رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ is part of faith. To love Abu رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ is a pride. As Annas ibn Malik رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ said: فأنا أحب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وأبا بكر وعمر وأرجو أن أكون وأرجو أن أكون معهم بحبي إياهم وإن لم أعمل بمثل أعمالهم “I love the Apostle,” said Annas. “I love Abu Bakr.” “And I love Umar.” I hope that I will be with them in the Judgment Day because of my love for them though my deeds are not similar to theirs. Hence, Ibn Jauzi Rahimahullah said: أن السلف كانوا يعلمون أولادهم حب أبي بكر وعمر كما يعلمونهم السورة من القرآن The Salafi taught their children to love Abu Bakr and Umar, just like they taught their children verses of the Quran. My dear Muslims, may Allah SWT bless you, Scholars agree that the Shiites are those who are perverted. They want to make our generation away from the heroes of these people. The heroes of these people are the Companions, who have fought for the Apostle ﷺ’s preaching that Islam is spread widely in this world. They want to make our generation away from the generation of heroes, the Companions رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ. And so, the Companions are the people whom they hate the most. While Allah SWT said about the Companions: كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاس “You are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind by Allah.” And the Shiite would say, “The Companions are the worst of peoples.” And the Shiite would say, “The Companions are the worst of peoples.” While we say that the person whom the Apostle love the most was Abu Bakr. While Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said: “Abu Bakr in Paradise,” “They say, “Abu Bakr is in Jahannam.” Hence, one of their prayers, Known as Sonamay Quraish According to them it is the best prayer. Whomever recite this prayer, it is as if he fights with the Apostle ﷺ, fighting in the Badar war, in Uhud war, in Hunain war. And he would have let go a million of arrows. Because of this prayer. What is this prayer? This prayer is known as The prayer of two Idols of Quraish. What is in it? It is said: اللهم العن صنمي قريش “O Allah curse the two idols of Quraish.” By the two idols, they mean Abu Bakr and Umar. و العن اْبنيْهما They say, “O Allah, curse, those who follow them.” “O Allah, curse those who love them.” “O Allah, put them for eternity in Jahannam.” This is their prayer. This is their prayer. Their hatred to Abu Bakr and Umar. Their hatred to Abu Bakr and Umar. What do they say about Abu Bakr? We had mentioned about hadith and verses of Allah’s praises to Abu Bakr. The Apostle's praise for Abu Bakr. They say: Abu Bakr did do the Salat behind the Apostle ﷺ. But he had with him an idol necklace. That when he prostrated, he did not prostrate to Allah, but to the Idol. While we say that the Apostle gave him the title As-Siddiq When the Messenger of Allah did Isra’ Mi’raj at that period, 1,400 years ago, When the Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said that he went From masjidil Haram to masjidil Aqsa, to the seventh sky, and returned home, less than a night. When bicycle was not even invented. People were in doubt. The Quraish came to Abu Bakr. They said, “O Abu Bakr. Your friend said this and this. He said that he went from Masjidil Haram to Masjidil Aqsa less than one night." Abu Bakr said, “if he (Muhammad) said more than that, I say he is telling the truth.” “If Muhammad announced something even stranger than that, I say he is telling the truth.” So, what was he called? As Siddiq, who is always true. And what The Shiite would say? The meaning of As-Siddiq, is that he always said Muhammad was a witch. Who affirmed Muhammad as what? A witch. If we say that Abu Bakr donate all of his wealth, they say that Abu Bakr was doing politics. Why would he sacrifice his wealth? Because he knew that when Muhammad died. he would become the leader. Then he had to sacrifice just like politicians would sacrifice their money. When Muhammad died, what would he become? ﷺ died then he would become... ... the leader after Muhammad ﷺ. This is false accusation, generated by The Shiite who want to destroy Islam. They destroy from the inside, while the disbelievers cannot do it. The disbelievers are not able to destroy Islam. as The Shiite would Destroy from the inside. Therefore, we ask for protection against damaged faith. We ask protection to Allah SWT so that He protects our children from being misguided, and misguided by these people.
