Among the things that make us love the Prophet more is..
We have to know what the Prophet
did good for us.
The more a person does good to us,
the more we love him.
And that is human.
A poet once said:
أحسن إلى الناس تستعبد قلوبهم
Do kind to people,
you will have his heart.
That is human.
People like to receive things from others.
One will remember a person
who has given him kindness.
Thus, the Prophet SAW said:
تَهَادَوْا تَحَابُّوا
Give present to each other,
you will love one another.
However rich a person is,
he'd love to receive presents.
Not because he is in need,
he just loves to receive things.
When we know others' kindness to us,
we will love them.
A husband loves his wife more and more,
when he realizes what his wife does.
Istrinya telah mengandung anaknya.
His wife is pregnant of his children.
She prepares meal, take care of the house.
He remembers what his wife does.
He loves his wife even more.
We may love a person by remembering
his kindness to us.
That is normal. For example:
we have two friends.
One never treats us.
Another one always treats us.
Whom do we love more?
I am asking you.
We have two friends.
One often asks us to have meal together.
But we have to pay for ourselves.
Another one asks us to do so,
but he treats us, whom do we love more?
Certainly, the second.
That is normal and human.
We prefer a nicer person.
That is human.
The more his kindness is to us,
the more we love him, that is normal.
أحسن إلى الناس تستعبد قلوبهم
Be kind to others,
and we'll have his heart.
The greatest kindness in this world
is that of the Prophet SAW.
Why do I say so?
Because by following the Prophet's
guidance...
We'll reach happiness in this world,
and even more in the afterworld.
Those who do not follow the Prophet's
guidance, they will not be happy.
The more he does what the Prophet said,
the more happy he is.
He'll be happier.
And that is in this world.
A faithful person will feel the beauty
and happiness in this world.
Ibn Taimiyyah said:
أن في الدنيا جنة
من لم يدخلها لا يدخل جنة الآخرة
There is actually Paradise
in this world.
Whoever doesn't enter that Paradise,
he won't feel Paradise in the Afterlife.
As if he's saying, people with faith
and do what the Prophet said...
...have fear to Allah,
they'll be happy.
They feel Paradise in the world
before in the after life.
If we remember what the Prophet
did to us...
Where the Prophet SAW was chased
by his people.
Where he was told a liar.
A saman.
A witch.
Hurt by his people.
expelled from his hometown.
Everything he endured was for us
to be able to feel the beauty of Islam.
So that we can feel the beauty of Islam.
We learn how the Prophet never stopped
fighting.
If you learn about the history of the
Prophet, he never had a rest.
Since Allah told him
قُمْ فَاَنْذِرْۖ
Wake up and give warning.
The Prophet never rested
until he died.
To fight for Islam.
So that the light of Islam
reach the world.
So that us, Indonesians, can feel
the beauty of Islam.
Thus, whosoever follows the Prophet's
guidance...
He will feel happiness in the world.
And in the afterworld, he will feel
eternal happiness.
He is safe from being miserable
in his heart.
He will be save from being miserable
in the afterlife.
Whoever learns what the Prophet did, he'd know
that it is greater than his parents ever do.
